Ham, Egg & Cheese - A close-up of a breakfast burrito with a bite taken out, revealing scrambled eggs, bacon pieces, and melted cheese inside a flour tortilla. The burrito is held in a person's hand, wrapped in yellow paper, and is positioned over a wooden table. The background shows a blurred indoor setting with tiled flooring and part of a person's arm.

Needed a go to breakfast burrito place and it didn't disappoint! Portion sizes on the burritos are huge, and came out relatively quick. Very hot and obviously made fresh. Tried the bacon, egg and cheese along with the ham, egg and cheese. Good on its own if you prefer plain, but I'm a salsa girl. Red and green salsas weren't too spicy. Best way to do it is to add both salsas to your bite. Could only eat half before we had to call it quits. Jamaica agua fresca was very sweet and tasty. Medium drink is huge and plenty. Tasted even better when I could water it down a little after. I wish this place had played music. Not sure if it was just because it was 9am but it was very quiet in there. Could be more festive with some classic Mexican music we're all always looking for. Service was quick and efficient. FYI maps takes you to the back but it's in the main strip mall with Safeway parking lot.

Breakfast - A burrito wrapped in a lightly toasted, soft tortilla is shown resting on white paper. The burrito appears to be filled with ingredients, but the filling is not visible from the outside. The image suggests a takeout or casual dining presentation, with the burrito positioned on a piece of white paper or parchment.

Tried the $6 breakfast burrito which only included potatoes, eggs and cheese. It had potential, but unfortunately the cook put too many egg whites and improperly cooked the eggs. I didn't order an egg white burrito. If you picked out the white, there was enough yellow to still make the thing average. Red sauce here very hot.

Rolled tacos with Guacamole and cheese are very good.

Generous portion of guacamole and really good flavor; good size taquitos too! This is a nice little place to come and have dinner and just hang out. Small place but really nice.

Breakfast burrito with bacon!! - A breakfast burrito filled with bacon, scrambled eggs, and other ingredients is cut in half and placed on a white disposable plate. Two small containers of salsa and hot sauce are also on the plate. The background shows a textured surface, likely outdoors, indicating the meal is served outside.

Hey! Shot out to one of THE BEST breakfast burritos in town! Great team of employees and owners and they have gone out of their way to keep prices from going up too much, even as food costs and labor have soared! They are NOT drive through fast, but thats why it tastes so great!!

Outside - The image shows the front exterior of Los Cerritos Mexican Food, a restaurant located in a strip mall. The signage displays the restaurant's name in large green and pink letters. The entrance features a glass door with business hours and promotional posters, including a sign indicating the restaurant is open. There is a neon 'OPEN' sign visible inside. The storefront is surrounded by a railing and some plants, with a reflection of parked cars in the glass.

I love Los Cerritos, but Cali Burrito was only about a 6.5 on the 10 scale. A bit dry and seems like they used regular breakfast potatoes instead of legit fries . Reg Carne Asada burrito better I'd say.

Sausage, egg, cheese, potato, and bean breakfast burrito. Why is it so dry?? - A close-up of a breakfast burrito with visible fillings of scrambled eggs, cooked meat, and potatoes, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. The burrito is partially eaten, showing the ingredients inside. The person holding it has a light skin tone, and the background includes a wooden surface, a knife, and some dishes, indicating a casual dining setting.

I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage, egg, cheese, potatoe, and beans. All the ingredients were there, only everything tasted of sausage, eggs were overcooked, beans were pasty thick, and the potatoes an undetectable mush. It seems I was served yesterday's leftover breakfast in a tortilla. Super disappointed, not enough flavor in any of it to warrant trying anything else off the menu. I realize they may not be doing enough business to keep everything fresh, but this was awful. Modify the menu if you must! The service area was clean and well attended by staff. There is no salsa bar, red/green offered in containers. Fountain drinks and a small variety if American sodas available behind the counter.

Chicken tacos combo with rice and beans. Delicious comfort food! - A takeout meal in a foam container includes shredded lettuce on top of tacos, Mexican-style rice, refried beans, and a small plastic cup of salsa. The lettuce appears fresh, and the rice and beans are cooked, with the salsa in a clear plastic cup. The meal is typical of Mexican cuisine, served for quick pickup or delivery.

The carne asada and pastor burritos were fantastic, can't wait to go back again. You get quite a lot of food for the price.

Love the crunchy shredded beef tacos! Always fast and friendly...small hole in the wall type place with no ambience but the food is great.

So glad that they have reopened in the neighborhood! I have been missing the best breakfast burritos in town while they moved locations.

Beef enchiladas were really good! Prices are reasonable. If their machaca burrito and tostadas are good, this will be my new mexican spot.

Casa Corazon Restaurant - Steak Mexicano

I'm so glad we finally went to try Casa Corazon. We met with a friend visiting from out of town…read moreduring lunch, and everyone absolutely loved it. The restaurant is inside of an old brick home with wood interior and warm colors. The service was good-- friendly and food came out at a good pace, we were checked on regularly. We ordered an appetizer and then entrees from the lunch menu. The aguachile appetizer is SO good. It's bright, fresh, and has a lot of flavor in the green sauce. It reminds me of a ceviche type dish due to its raw butterflied shrimp that is marinated in the house made chile serrano & cilantro citrus sauce. It was awesome. We were also given free chips & house made bean dip. I ordered the mixed two item plate with a chile rellano and taco corazon (grilled taco dipped in a red chile sauce, stuffed with shredded beef & melted cheese. Topped with grilled onions). The black beans and rice is also tasty. I tried a bite of the other dishes, and I also really liked the brightly colored spinach & cheese enchiladas with pink sauce ( signature beet sauce). I look forward to trying other items from the menu, I was eyeing the steak Mexicano or red snapper. Those dishes sound good for dinner.

The restaurant has a small bar of three seats to enjoy some drinks.. initially we were just going to have margaritas for six dollars during happy hour but decided to have guacamole as well for $10 on happy hour. Guacamole was excellent and came with a bean dip. To complement, our guacamole and chips we checked out the salsa bar. The salsa bar has over six choices of salsa. One of my favorite salsas was hibiscus. We enjoyed our quick happy hour so much that we hope to come back for dinner as I see Mole is on the menu. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I hear that they have open a second venue not too far from the original place. They have an event venue. Their original place is in a former church. The architecture inside is very interesting due to the roof structure.

This review is for the totality of the experience…read more I made an advance reservation at Alma Scottsdale for a mid-sized group of 7 to celebrate a special occasion. Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.
