    Vegan Chick'n Wrap
    Andy N.

While I can safely call myself a salad girl, I was on the search for a wrap since I needed to eat while on the go at work. Luckily, Just Salad offers a vegan chick'n wrap that was perfect! Crunchy pieces of vegan chicken packed with fresh veggies and topped with a tangy Chipotle sauce. Everything was mixed and wrapped well so there were no issues enjoying it during my event. I only wish that there was a way to toast the wrap since that would have made it extra good. But for a $13 wrap in the city, it was great to be able to enjoy a completely vegan option on the menu that wasn't just greens and a dressing.

I order from here at least 3 times a week! It is such a great lunch for the work week. I always get the honey crispy chicken wrap with light dressing mixed in. There is a generous portion of chicken and it is filling and energizing.

Really enjoyed this salad. It was simple but packed with fresh flavors. The dressing complemented the ingredients perfectly, and the portion size was good. The restaurant had a nice vibe, and the staff was friendly. A great healthy option.

Just Salad... ilysm. Please can you come to Milwaukee? I come down to Chicago now and again to visit our office in the Merchandise Mart, and this spot is always, always my go-to for lunch. Here you'll find customized salads, wraps and smoothies (aka my dream). When I say customized, let me tell ya, you can literally make anything you want, or make alterations on an existing menu item. Most recently, I oped for the Thai Chicken Crunch salad and it was a delight. The romaine was extra crispy, and all of the toppings paired well together: roasted chicken, sliced carrots and cucumbers, fresh cilantro, shredded cabbage, and wonton strips. Oh and let's not forget the best part, which is the spicy Thai peanut dressing + squeezed lime. The whole thing was very light, refreshing, and tasty! Also, they have drink options that I love (but are often hard to find), like the Poppi prebiotic soda. I went with watermelon flavor and it was great. The staff here are immensely fast, like it's no joke. If you approach the restaurant and think "oh that line is long," fear not! Because they are so, so speedy. It doesn't make for them being the most friendly, since they clearly have a fast-paced job to get done (no time for chit-chat), but hey, ya come for the food, em-i-rite?

    Crispy Chicken Poblano

I loved this spot. I was staying at the Hyatt Regency next door to the Illinois Center and came by here a couple of times. It was really great to get a fresh and healthy salad for lunch a few days. I like how everything is customizable but they have such great combinations. I tried the chicken poblano one day and that was kinda like a zesty caesar type salad. I had the vegan salad the next day and that was also good. I feel like the portions are a good lunch size. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. I did wish they were open on the weekends though I understand that they mostly cater to folks who work in the area and not the tourists who come by.

Yum! So many healthy choices to choose from. I think I have completely overdid it with all the toppings but my salad still turned out to be quite delicious. I'm taking one star off because I wasn't asked about my choice of the dressing, my salad was tossed with Buffalo sauce which is not my favorite. Oh well. I will certainly be back and will recommend this place.

Another positive is they can do a 100% nut free smoothie because they have separate blenders for people that can't have nuts and I think that's amazing. It was buzzing with diners, so it took about ten minutes to be seated. Our waitress was really nice and very attentive. I don't recall her name, but she was a young, Indian lady. She had a radiant smile and sunny disposition. She didn't rush us and took the time to ensure that she had gotten our order correct. i ordered the hash browns, eggs, bacon and toast. The eggs were great but everything else left something to be desired. The bacon had a lot of gristle on it and was very salty. The hash browns weren't cooked enough. They weren't browned at all, and the toast wasn't toasted enough. It was also chewy and much harder than I would have expected. My sister ordered the corned beef hash. She was disappointed because there was very little corned beef! It was mostly hash browns... she said if she'd known that the serving was so small she would've ordered it as a side. She felt the same way I did about the hash browns and toast. They also charged her $4 for a toddler-sized glass of orange juice. I understand that it's freshly squeezed, but the size was a complete rip-off. The environment is louder than most restaurants, but it's comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. My sister wanted to let the waitress know that the corned beef serving was minimal so she could warn other patrons before they ordered it. She genuinely wasn't trying to get a discount, but the waitress insisted on mentioning the complaint to her manager. She was very apologetic even though it wasn't her fault. Anyway, our waitress comes back and says that the manager had taken the corned beef off the bill. That was unexpected and a very nice thing to do. My sister gave the waitress a fifteen dollar tip as a result. It turns out that Yolk still isn't my cup of tea. Give it a try though. Maybe it'll be yours...

The food was just OK in my opinion. I got the Zenith which is pastrami and corn beef on three slices of rye with swiss cheese and thousand Island. It was just ok, they pile the meat on the rye bread to where it does look like a lot, but it really doesn't seem like much when you spread it to all sides of the bread. The sandwich I got came with very mediocre pickle and a side of coleslaw, which was also very mediocre. One plus is they fry all of their fried foods in beef tallow, but they use frozen fries so I say that defeats the whole purpose of using a high-quality ingredient to fry. I came in because I was curious, when I walked by a few weeks ago, it was busy. After seeing pictures of their sandwiches, I wanted to try a corn beef sandwich to compare to others I've had. They serve breakfast all day, but I was told they would prefer I ordered lunch if possible, luckily I wanted lunch but they did say they would still serve breakfast if I wanted. Kinda an odd thing to say. The menu is pretty big like a nfl play sheet and takes up a lot of space when looking at it. Over all, it's a nice place with good service. Plenty of seating options from the bar (they serve alcohol and wide variety of pops and shakes) and a variety of booth tables. The food didn't blow me away or anything and I thought it was kind of bland. Maybe I'd go for actual breakfast next time but it may just be if I can't find anything else, which this place is usually open. The place 4 stars, the food 3.5.

Silly, fun, and soooo tasty! We started with their Saturday special: a $20 bucket of 5 Polish beers. (Or you could get American beers.) To let everyone taste them all, we asked for glasses, which they brought frosty-chilled. The Tyskie Gronie is a golden color lager with a light hoppy flavor. The Warka Classic is more coppery in color, a little bready or malty, with some light herbal lemony flavors, with a drier finish. Okocim "O.K. Beer" is a pilsner, a bit floral and sweet, crisp, and lightly but sharply hoppy. These were great frefreshing pizza beers. They also had a wide range of beers from crafts to midwest standards. We also showed them the recipe for Orange Crush, invented in Ocean City, and Maryland's Official State Drink since Jun 2025. Hey, they've got a shandy on their menu, so we can order our fsvorite summer drink if we want during Chicago "false spring" heat wave this week :-) We shared appetizers of calamari and pierogis. The $17.50 calamari was tender and hot, lightly coated with crisp flakey salt and pepper crust, with spicy marinara for dipping and lemon to brighten the flavors. We cut the tender seared $13 pierogis to share the thinly wrapped potatoes & cheese, meat, and sauerkraut & mushroom, with sides and servings of homemade bacon-specked sauerkraut, sour cream, and applesauce. We would have ordered more of the peirogis, to have more than a few halves per person, but there was pizza work to do! Flo & Santos is (are?) serious with their tavern-style pizza! The crust is terrifically thin, like Italian piada bread, cooked crispy crunchy like a cracker, and cut into squares for sharing :-) Of course covered with all kinds of creative toppings, and red marinara sauce, or garlic cream white sauce, or no-sauce! We got the heart-shaped Valentines Feb 13-15 special with thin-cut pepperoni, lightly spicy and cutely relaxed about the exact shape :-). We added Nama's Veggie pizza, generously covered in tender sweet spinach, fresh tomato, bitey diced onion, chunks of sweet juicy green pepper, and a scattering of black olives and mushrooms for umami flavoring. Quite a marvelous collection of flavors. And we went a little wild with Marco's Italian Beef pizza! Don't shy away. They didn't imitate that classic Chicago sandwich. Instead, they lay that savory thin-sliced beef over tomato marinara pizza-sauce, then add a flsvorful zingy hot giardiniera, and make it even richer with fire-roasted tomatoes and caramelized onion. I think we got the $29 14-inch size of each pizza, plenty of deliciously-topped crunchy pizza for our group of six adults and three children, with some wonderful leftovers to take home :-) For a special dessert, they offered a super-cute whipped-cream-decorated heart-shaped strawberry $6.50 gelato with a chocolate-covered strawberry. When we saw the one, we shared several more around the table. A lovely refreshing finish. loved the food and drink, and the friendly attentive staff. We showed up without a reservation at 4:20pm on a Saturday, and with little waiting, they assembled a table for our group of nine. As we left two hours later, they were setting up a table for 20! We found street-parking pretty easily nearby for one car, and most of us arrived about two blocks away at the Roosevelt stop on the Orange, Green, and Red "L" lines. Loud chatter, but it's a vibe. Very colorful and fun interior with cool textural elements. We had a seat that was facing the street so it was fun to people watch as we sipped and ate. Food: amazing breakfast selection! We ordered the morning sandwich and barbacoa bowl. The morning sandwich had THICK scrambled eggs which were super soft and tasty. I could've used more salsa verde on it. The bread was barely toasted. I'd rate the sandwich a 3.8/5. It got the job done. The barbacoa bowl was "really good" according to my fiancé.
