I got the blue royale and it was delicious. Service was quick. Also I was able to substitute the whey protein for plant based protein.

Banana Nut Smoothie is the best!!!

I absolutely love this place! The Banana Nut Smoothie is hands down my favorite--such a perfect blend of sweet and savory. It's the kind of drink you start craving the moment you think about it. Highly recommend if you're into smoothies that actually taste as good as they sound!

Healthy juice, smoothies and acaii bowls fanatics hangout spot for sure. They offer a lot of different supplements to add to your drink as well. This is a great addition to the printers row neighborhood. The price is reasonable but I just really like how they blend the smoothie really well( no chunks) even with my whey protein.this is a big plus in my book.

I love smoothies so I'm really happy to have a pure green in printers row!! good location near other lil shops/restaurants/coffee shops etc in the area like Totto's market, Umai, necessary & sufficient, sandmeyer's bookstore etc. I came in at 7:30am on a sat so i understand why the server wasn't super chipper but she was fine. i really like the layout inside - there's a good amount of seating for a relatively small store and i could see myself coming in to get some work done. There are charging ports! they also offer juice cleanses and different wellness shots in addition to their smoothies. i got the skinny coco which has banana, strawberry, and coconut water in it and it was pretty good! it's the first strawberry banana smoothie i've had that was strawberry dominant which i wasn't expecting. definitely will be coming back to get my smoothie fix.

Finally one in the South Loop. Pure Green has been cold this year. They opened one in the Gold Coast last month (see my review). This is mid-size. I had the Soul Kick. PS. Their Cashless like all of the others.

What a great addition to the South Loop neighborhood. I highly recommend the Mocha Cold Brew Smoothie!

I love this location and the very friendly staff who are always smiling. But they need more staff to speed up service.

Sometimes when you're stoned you do the weirdest things and crave the weirdest stuff. I was scrolling on DoorDash for what felt like 67 years when I stumbled on Deep Purpl. Their menu literally screamed exactly what my munchies were demanding, so obviously I ordered everything. First up the Acai Bowl 20oz with banana, strawberry, kiwi, granola, organic honey, extra strawberries, and chia seeds. I am telling you this bowl changed me as a human. I had never had an Acai Bowl before and now I'm obsessed. Every fruit was fresher than fresh, the granola was a spiritual experience, and the balance of flavors was ridiculous. Then I got the PB Toast and I'm still asking myself why I hesitated to pay $6.99 for it. GAWD it was amazing. Crispy bread, peanut butter, banana, strawberries, blueberries, honey drizzle. The best $6.99 piece of toast I have ever had in my life. Because I clearly have no self-control I also grabbed the spinach and cheese empanada and malbec and beef empanada. No words. Everything was fantastic. Every single item was a joy to inhale and I will absolutely do it again. The DoorDash pick-up was super easy and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only minor gripe is they don't provide bags so I had to carry everything individually walking home, which was slightly annoying. But honestly the food, the vibes, and the experience? 10 out of 10. Will be back.

Tasty, healthy, reasonable price. 24 oz was a meal along with a slice of the PB toast- sturdy piece of a whole grain bread topped with bananas, berries, and a touch of honey that was good (not too sweet). Recommend!

I got the horchata latte, which tasted even better than I hoped. I also ordered a El Chavo Torta, a deceptively simple sandwich that was incredibly delicious. I don't know what they put in the bread or what magical place they bought the cheese from, but my mouth is watering just thinking about it. When I'm in Chicago again, La Malinche is on my list of must visit spots.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

However, the reason for the bad review is that we got an acai bowl with multiple light colored hairs in it. (Mine and my husbands' hair colors are black). This is absolutely disgusting and deters me from wanting to order from here again. So when I went to Chicago last summer, as I was walking back to my hotel from Millennium Park hot and exhausted, quenching my thirst and hunger simultaneously with something fresh was a priority. I had spotted Deep Purpl on the way. I love açai, and usually just purchase it in frozen packets or juice from the grocery store, so this was my first time trying an açai bowl at a shop. It was absolutely amazing, so much so that I ordered the same thing as a BOGO special from Uber the next day. I've been trying to find a local spot in VA that compares: not too sweet, quality ingredients nicely layered with almond butter as an option.

This is a fast casual spot so service was pretty fast. There is a decent amount of seating, most of which was surprisingly taken around 11am on a Thursday. For starters, they no longer have their rainbow cake! I was surprised to hear that considering how popular it's supposed to be. We got both banana lattes which were extremely sweet. It's basically dessert with a hint or caffeine. I'm a big fan of banana, so I actually liked this but I would've preferred half the sweetness. The Turkey Bacon & Egg Croissant was so good! A solid breakfast sandwich - the eggs were cooked perfectly, the turkey bacon was insanely crispy, and that sambal aioli was just what this needed. I highly recommend adding Avocado like I did for some freshness & creaminess since it's a heavy sandwich as is. The Cinnamon Roll was soft, moist, and not overly sweet. Overall, I really enjoyed this breakfast!
