I love this place! It's like chipotle but for salads and no e.coli. The ingredients are always very fresh and they offer many options. Super vegetarian friendly! I decided to order from their website, needles to say NEVER AGAIN! Once I received the confirmation email it read 15-30 minutes I was excited and couldn't wait to start eating. 40 minutes pass, ok maybe they're running late. 1 hour now, ok I'm pissed and starving now. No courtesy email nothing. Trying to find a direct number to the just salad I ordered from was almost impossible. I had to look at the email for a customer service number and I got through to somebody who seemed to have an attitude and told me she spoke to the just salad and they told her the salad just left and its on its way it will be about 20 minutes. Are you freakan kidding me!!! I told her I'd been waiting for an hour and a half now and she said ok I can generate a coupon for you. Ughh is that going to take away my hunger? Well, I never received any such coupon. When I finally received my salad the gentleman gave me some dumb excuse that made no sense something about them rebooting the computer blah blah. I used to come here all of the time to get a good, consistent salad and decent customer service. I am not sure who owns or runs this particular store in Park Slope, but it is horribly managed, it's filthy, and run from the bottom up because no one ever seems to be in charge. Customer service is horrible. The store could be empty, which it usually is, and it will take 15 minutes to get a salad. And they always run out of ingredients or bread. For the past 6 months, they have not been chopping their salads. They tell you that all of the stores are adopting this practice, but its not true. It's laziness and its just this location. Lastly, when they prepare your salad they don't put a chopping board underneath, so when they are mixing it, ingredients come flying out, and it just gets thrown away, which also reduces the salad you get. What a waste! So I wrote to Just Salad (twice), received an auto-reply that someone would be contacting me about all of my complaints. Still no response, so I am boycotting this location. There are not any good salad options in Park Slope now. read more

The food just isn't that good for the employees to be that disinterested. Very few of the salads I've tried have any flavor and their dressings don't compliment their own recipes at all. And again, 4 out of 5 of the staff act like you're inconveniencing them for placing an order. There are so many better places to get a salad in Park Slope, give this spot a miss. read more

Ordered a salad, after it was 30 minutes late, I called the restaurant - was put on hold for 20 minutes, to only be told that they "couldn't find a delivery man" and that they were cancelling the order. Just Salad consistently loses points on service for delivery orders. It's not the delivery people, but the prep work - you need to monitor in person for accuracy. The menu, ingredients, wait time in store etc are all good. So just go order in store, spare yourself delivery. But if you get something delivered, there's at least a 50% chance of a mistake in your order. Sure, it still tastes good, so I'm not "pissed off" with each individual order, but in aggregate its a lazy way to treat customers. If I'm paying $13-14 for a salad I could make at home for $8, it's because I don't want to spend time making it myself, waiting again for it to be corrected, or doing the cleanup afterward. Countless times they forget to mix the dressing in so back home I'm unpacking the salad, mixing it in bit by bit as I add lettuce back to a larger bowl that I now have to clean. (Again not a big deal, but not worth $14). Countless times I've paid for a premium item (avocado) or chips and they forgot to add it - just lazy. read more

This is my second review, I thought I'd give it another chance but again, same thoughts. Salads are pretty good but it depends who's working. I used to go almost every day. There are some great people that work there that are friendly who give exceptional service. Others like today, very poor service! Went after 3:30. The girl serving me obviously didn't want to be there, she was on her cell then once she served us, she asked me what dressing i wanted, chopped my salad up real quick, didn't even give me a chance to say how I wanted it chopped, and without me noticing poured dressing until it was drenched and then asked if she should stop. I popped into Just Salad in Park Slope and I was immediately impressed. There were two employees working behind the counter and they both stopped what they were doing and gave me a warm welcoming hello. I am relatively new to this establishment and Saday and Asia (?) were very patient and helpful as I tried to decide what to get. Saday made me the most amazing salad and then passed me on to her co worker whose name had Asia in it. I cannot remember her name but I do remember her smile and how friendly she was. The staff, straight down the line ( from the first employee who takes your order, to the person who creates your individual salad, to the crew who chops and dresses your salad, to the cashiers) are always very pleasant, accommodating and efficient. The ingredients are fresh and delicious but what makes it really delicious is the staff. Barry White, Jason and Chris are my salad super stars, always recommending good dressing combos and generally making the whole experience fun. They always have smiles on their faces and make my day. I have been to many locations in Brooklyn and usually there is a lot of attitude and the food is tasteless. The environment in this location was very customer friendly. All my needs were met and even when I could not make a decision, they were very patient with me. Everything was yummo. I wanted to give a compliment to the manager about the great service I received it turns out it was the manager Quanneisha who made such a delicious salad.
