It's been a while since I been back here but I decided to try them out as they were having a promotion. $10 for any of their signature bowl. Usually it would cost between $13-16. Not sure if it's because they have a promotion today but it was quite busy. They were constantly making bowls. They have a nice seating area if you decided to dine in. Note that Just Poké IS OPEN during COVID for TAKEOUT! My brother and I wanted poké for lunch and this was the closest poké place. I've been to Just Poké before (it's a chain and so they have locations also in U-District and Issaquah). I enjoy Just Poké because they serve a variety of proteins (including salmon and scallops) rather than just ahi. I also like that I can customize the bowls to my liking and can get unlimited toppings, most for no extra cost! I'll admit that the fish isn't top grade, but it is good enough to fulfill my poké cravings. On my most event visit, I ordered a regular bowl with 2 scoops of salmon (regular bowl = 2 scoops of protein, large bowl = 3 scoops of protein). I also got the Dynamite sauce (a mix of sriracha and eel (teriyaki-like) sauce) for an extra kick of spice. I'm not a picky eater and so I got all of the toppings except for the avocado and black seaweed that cost extra. My total came out to about $24 (for two bowls) but I saved an extra 10% by checking in here through Yelp. All servers were wearing masks and gloves. Was walking through Factoria Mall one evening and spotted Just Poké and decided to swing by for dinner. The mall was quiet so there wasn't a line (perfect)! There were two staff on site and they were friendly. We ordered two bowls - one w regular rice and a second w the medicine rice. I had the salmon and seared Ahi while my wife had two vegetarian proteins. I like just Poké because they don't hold back on the mix ins and sides and let you pick as many or as little as you want (there are a few items though that cost extra - example the avocado). The bowl is packed w food and lots of different flavors (would recommend the crab salad, mango, pineapple, seaweed salad, seaweed, and crunchy onion just to name a few - I normally get most of the mix ins). I have has great experiences at Just Poke before (my home location is in the Renton Landing). My experience on this particular night was great because the medicine rice was hard - almost like it's old or was from the bottom of the rice pot as it tasted hard and a bit burnt. For that I give my experience 2 stars but believe it's an isolated experience - well hopefully. If you're craving Poke - I would still give this location a try. read more

Wife N and I are up in the Seattle area for a weekend's vacation, just us and our adult son. It was an unseasonably-hot Saturday evening, with a local heatwave pushing temperatures well above 105F in Bellevue. So dinner was planned to be a quick "we'll pick it up somewhere" and head back to our nice cool Bellevue hotel room. Saturday night, about 15 minutes before closing time of 7:00, we arrived at Just Poké. Like other order-at-the-counter style Poké places, you pick from each of 5 or so sections: type of rice, type of protein, sauces, and various condiments and sprinkles. Then, they scoop all the stuff up and kind of toss it together in a sauce and voila, Poké. Except, it's not really Poké. Well, maybe this is "mall Poké"---if that's a special category of Poké meant to describe something that looks roughly like fish and rice but isn't really Poké. Poké, by definition is CURED (cooked) in its own sauce. Not using heat, but actually a curing of sorts; the salt in the soy actually "cooks" the fish over a few minutes. The best Poké is not only comprised of fresh fish, but also the complexity and quality of the sauce. So, the point to a Poké is really how well marinated and cohesive all the fish is with all the flavorings. The problem is, they used about 1/4 the amount of sauce they should have. A true poke should be "wet with sauce", not a bunch of dry fish cubes with "kind of maybe a little sauce sprinkled around". It should be sufficient to totally flavor the rice in the bowl as well as all the fish. Like mix it up, and then pour a bunch more on top for good measure. Wet wet. It wasn't. All three (different) selections we ordered tasted almost the same, just almost-dry fish cubes on rice. My 19-y/o sushi-loving son took a look at the bowl and said, "That's not a Poké, it's just a Chirashi." We were pretty disappointed. Even for this type of Poké restaurant, we felt they could have had much better assembly of the final product. Honestly, I've had better Poké just about every other place I've been, mall or otherwise. I got a half/half brown rice/spring mix with spicy ahi and salmon. The seared ahi tuna looked like beef. Tons of sauce to choose from but was really confused about the choose 2 toppings. Usually the proteins are the only limit. Overall the bowl was good, the ingredients weren't as fresh as advertised but that's what the sauce is for right? Great. Poke in general is not cheap. I got the unagi bowl and it was delicious. It did not seem like they were conserving on portions or anything. However, poke is not cheap. It cost me close to $20 (including a drink) for lunch. It is good every once in a while. But I probably won't be in my regular rotation. The staff was very friendly and very conscience about washing hands/switching gloves after handling money..I appreciate that. If you need to satisfy your poke fix, this is a good option. read more

Factoria Mall has been in a desperate need of more food options, so for Just Poke to land in this shopping center is a huge win for the area! I love this place and now that it's in Factoria it makes for a more pleasant shopping experience and know that I can get my poke on without leaving the mall. Just poke is a build-your-own-bowl kind of place, though they have their own customized bowls for those undecided. Just like at the other locations they have the same ingredients, offered at the same prices. PLUS, you can use your rewards here, too! When I visited one of the owners was there and instantly recognized me from my visits at the downtown Bellevue location. Customer service is top notch. I also saw that he recognized others and one customer was surprised that the owner knew his first name. Gotta love that! I'm always on the hunt for new places to try in Factoria because I've tried literally every single restaurant here already except Just Poke, only because I don't eat seafood, but found out that there's a tofu option!!! There's tofu and sweet potato as proteins for those that don't fuck with seafood(which is probably not a lot of people to be honest). Pretty straight forward, you just keep adding on things into your bowl as you go down the assemble line. Your protein gets seasoned in a separate tray. There's set bowls if you're not sure what to get, because sometimes having too much options gives me anxiety. Good thing, the employee helped me pairing what sauce I should get. My bowl was delicious, and I actually don't feel guilty afterwards because it was a healthy lunch! All the ingredients were fresh and the process was really quick.
