Portion size was decent. Did a DoorDash during happy hour so my total was like $15 in total for a regular. It's a great deal. However they forgot my Masago topping which is like the best part I usually get all salmon with spicy aioli sauce. I would probably skip the ginger and pickled vegetable next time. Overall it was just okay. It wasn't as great as the last time I had it. And judging from the pictures, my bowl had a lot more yummy goodness in it than this time.
1 Star review is for the non-standard money grab parking scheme. CAUTION. Our meal could cost us an added $90. "Parking: Under 1 hour complimentary"... and if you decide to read all the way down the sign, all cars need to register." Is this a new trick? Bad customer experience from parking lot crooks. 4 star for Poke bowl which was great. Fish was fresh and the folks behind the counter were terrific. Highly recommend walking here.

If you're craving poke, you might want to be careful with Just Poke in Bellevue. I usually go to FOB poke, but they don't have creamy scallops, and I heard that just poke does, so I decided to try it out. The store doesn't give that much protein (it's like two small-ish scoops). I got the regular bowl with 2 protein scoops, and I decided that it'll both be for creamy scallops. Unfortunately as I was eating them, I realized that the creamy scallops were potentially spoiled because of the smell and taste of it. The staff was informed and they offered us a new bowl or a refund. That was nice of them to do, but I wished there was a better protocol they have to ensure that they aren't serving spoiled food. The service was okay. Not much to say on that. The ambiance of the place was okay as well. The store was connected to another store, so it was like a mini plaza. There were tables for customers to eat and that's it. Overall, I'm going to stick to FOB poke.

Service is fast and simple, what you'd usually expect at a poke place. Just Poké is probably my go-to spot when I'm craving poké, which is very often! My usual order is a regular bowl of half greens/brown rice with salmon. There are a large variety of toppings to choose from and they scoop them up generously. Surprisingly the masago does not have an extra cost attached to it. I love that they do seasonal toppings (the current topping is mango); I'm excited to see what's next! I do have to dock a star since there's some pieces of dull-colored salmon sometimes.

Onto the part on why I give it 4 stars - everything else! I love all their selections - veggies, crab salad, seaweed salad, kimchi, and all the toppings. It's more like a poke salad/rice bowl. The last time this place is "Just" poke. There is parking underneath and free limited time parking.

Just Poké Downtown Bellevue absolutely delivered on freshness and flavor, even via UberEats! I ordered the Surf & Turf bowl--with seared ahi tuna standing in for "turf"--and added the scallop on top. The tuna was bright and clean, nestled atop crisp greens paired with their zesty ponzu. The scallops were intriguingly seasoned with a subtle peppery kick, and the little pops of masago were gloriously unctuous, adding a silky burst of ocean flavor. Everything arrived neatly packaged and still perfectly chilled and vibrant. I snagged the B1G1 deal through Yelp and (no shame) polished off both bowls in one sitting--portions are reasonably generous, but at this quality, who could resist? Certainly not me !!! For a poke bowl that tastes as fresh as it looks--and bonus points for that scallop spice twist and buttery masago pearls--Just Poké Downtown Bellevue is my new go-to for a healthy, refreshing dinner post a flight in from the Bay Area. Just Poké is a deceiving name. It's not just poké, it mostly rice and some other extra toppings you can add to "customize" your bowl. I'm a purist at heart, so I like to taste things for what they are (or should be) without all the extra junk. And maybe I'm being harsh, since I just came back from the poké capital of the world (Hawaii), and I was less than impressed. You start off placing your order by choosing size (regular or large), and a base (rice, greens, zucchini noodles, etc). Then you choose your proteins, since I chose regular I had 2 choices which were spicy ahi and creamy scallop - but they were 2 TINY A$$ scoops! Then you choose a mix-ins and sauces, which they literally mix with your proteins?! Huh?! Trust me that's not how it's done in Hawaii. And then you choose your toppings, which has a great selection, but by the time you're done, it's 5% Protein (poké - isn't that part of the name?!) and 95% everything else, which are just fillers. Sadly, this will be my one and only time here. I'm still on the hunt for good poké on the Eastside. read more

They keep decreasing the amount of food even with an increase of the price. This is considered a large bowl and feel like this is not even considered a regular bowl amount. I let go of the first time it happened but today is way worse. Not coming to this location anymore. Very disappointed. read more

First time at this place for poke. I came over upon checking the best poke place in the area on Yelp. That's what you gotta do! It was in the condo building? On the first floor right by several parking spaces on the street. This poke stop was among 4 restaurants that were at this food court type place. The fish looked very fresh, I like that! And you can choose toppings like seaweed salad, kimchi cucumbers, crab salad, Masago, edamame, etc. for free on your poke bowl. I chose spicy ahi and seared ahi as my protein, half brown rice and half salad as my starch and lots of toppings. I was not sure what kind of sauce was good with my choices so I went with house Shoyu that seemed like cant go wrong choice. All together was about $12 and it was so good. No wonder this place is popular. One little thing though, It was very fast when I was ordering. I felt I needed more explanation especially sauces, the toppings and what goes well with my protein. Most people might be familiar with, but there's people like me who can't make good choices. read more
I love this just poke location. It's a little harder to access by car since this area can be congested, but I was able to find street parking. I expect however if you work or live in downtown bellevue and already have parking in that area it would be way easier. This building is sparkling new, and I went when they were open for takeout only (thanks COVID!). Everything was super clearly marked and sectioned off and it was so clean. Disclaimer: I'm from Hawaii so I'm already biased. At the same time, if you're a fellow Hawaii expat, you know how. The fish was not just frozen, but starting to smell. The way they serve the fish - you choose the toppings, sauce, etc., then they mix it... fail. The fish in poke is meant to be marinated. That's why people who sell in Hawaii usually have a bunch of different ones ready to go and you either order by the pound or get it on rice. This whole hipster, made-to-order nonsense does not fit as the fish hasn't had time to mesh with the other flavors yet. At least marinating it ahead would apologize for the frozen texture of the meat. At $11 per half pound ($20 per pound), it's hard to hit the mark with poke, and this place proves that point. Stopped in for lunch earlier this week! This place is the bomb! Fresh, fresh, fresh! We all should be eating the food served here at least once a day!! So good and super fast! Many different options. You can pick one of the bowls on the menu or make your own. I made my own and I choose the spicy tuna an sweet potatoes over a bed of brown rice and mixed green, topped with lots of yummy veggies, fresh ginger, a few different sauces and a crunchy topping...the flavors were all amazing! This is at a convenient location, downtown bellevue, right underneath the restaurant la bu la. It has free parking in the same building, underground. Even though it is free parking for 2 hours, you have to remember to use the parking machine to print out a paper to put on your dashboard. One time, we forgot, and we got a parking ticket. One thing is the parking is always full and the space is very very small, so I actually scratched my car one time. There are some street parking as well. There used to be a piano (piano in the park program) outside the food court, in the outdoor eating area, under the cover. In the summer, there was a band playing outdoor, which is nice. However, it is gone now. Hope it will come back in spring, when the weather is nicer. The poke ingredients are fresh, but the fish serving can be a bit more. There is usually a line during lunch time, especially now that amazon have moved some of their offices to bellevue downtown. If you like your food blend or less salt, you should ask for a little sauce. As some of the sauces could be heavy. The food court sitting area is open, tall-ceiling, and spacious. However, the tables are not stationed in a way that's welcoming or have good use of the space. Perhaps the entire food court management can improve that in the future. read more
Disclaimer: I have only had poke in California. I was pleasantly surprised by their ordering system. Not sure if this is a standard poke system and I have been living under a rock (called California) or if this is specific to this place. This place is very close to the office that I was visiting in Bellevue downtown. My colleagues took me here for lunch and I was happy with my lunch choice. Ambience: This is part of a shared food court in Soma towers. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Spa water with orange, lemon slices near the payment counter. Lot's of the pictures on Yelp show plastic containers but, now they have compostable containers. Small win for the environment. The experience: So you start with picking up a size. Regular comes with 2 protein and large with 3. The price difference is 2$. Step1: You select a base. I chose sushi rice. One of the interesting options was Zucchini noodles Step2: Add your proteins. I got Spicy Ahi tuna, Salmon and unagi. Step3: Get that fluff ummm... mix-ins. I went for sweet onions, scallions , cilantro, corn and cucumber. Step4: Make it saucy! I had the Thai chili citrus and spicy aioli. Step5: Top it up. Masago, mango and Edamame. Step5.5: Crunch it up. I got crispy onion and togarashi. Step6: If you have the stomach for it, get a side. Over all product was healthy bowl of deliciousness. The quantity was filling and had it not been for that cup of coffee in the afternoon I'd have had a carb crash from all that sushi rice. May be zucchini noodles would have made more sense? Who knows! If I had to do it all over again, I'd still go for the sushi rice though. But that's just me. read more
