Just poke is a fantastic quick spot to pop in for take out. Their food is tasty and pretty cheap as far as sushi goes. The amount of options isn't super high but i din't think that is too much of an issue. I for sure recommend ordering online because you can select your options way easier. One of their outstanding sides was their spicy mandarins which was a nice twist in my poke dish. The portioning was okay. I definitely wished they gave more of the protein and crab salad. The service was okay. The servers answered our questions but wasn't that friendly to us. The poke was fast to make. The ambiance is nice. There's some cool posters on the wall. This was my first tome ever having poke so I needed a lot of help with the menu throughout the process. After waiting for the 1 person working to finish cleaning duties (you are supposed to stop immediately, wash up and help the customer), he finally came over after about 4 minutes. He did not even acknowledge us until he came over although it was obvious we were there He then just assumed I new everything I wanted and was slightly annoyed that I didnt. After helping me with the first choice, another woman came out to finish helping me and she was definitely annoyed with all of my questions. Wow. The reason you have a job is because you have customers. No customers, no business, no job. I then asked for water and was pointed to the large water jug...which when I got to it did not have any cups, so I had to wait for them to finish with a customer who was also new and taking a really long time to ask for a cup. He said they were supposed to be out there. Maybe he should have been refilling things customers needed than the deep cleaning he seemed to be doing upon arrival My food was just ok. Definitely not worth going through that so I wont return Businesses need to realize with high food prices, we will be more selective with where we go and I am not giving my business to this type which lacks customer care The restaurant was clean though. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody with an appetite, as it is better off to not eat anything & save your stomach! I had to question if I were camping when they pulled out the torch. To start off I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon, a shame to call this a teriyaki dish. The two woman started by weighing out the salmon chunks into a silver bowl, then turned around & start flame torching the salmon pieces with a butane torch almost as they were trying to hide the method. I was caught a bit off guard by this as they were just torching the meat up close with chemical flames. Stick to the original Poke bowls if this is your liking & save yourself the experience! The spam musubi wasn't the best, sitting in a warmer - as the rice was very hard & dry. Priced at $4.00 for one of these low quality spam musubi's is outrageous, maybe they need to rethink their approach to "Hawaiian" food. read more

One of my favourite poke spots! It's fresh and delicious. I'd recommend for a sauce combo their spicy mayo with their citrus ponzu, it's my favourite and I can't ever get tired of it! They have an large variety of poke toppings and over all good quality ingredients. The atmosphere is also very structure. The vibe of the shop makes it feel like they want you in and out. But I will tell you that at every location I've been at they do not add a lot of items so I recommend asking them for a good scoop of "whatever you want" because they will be cheap and stingy and add a little scoop. We come here regularly and I'm not sure why I haven't done a review yet. When you come in there is a line to place your order and you can customize how you want your Poke bowl. First, you would pick what size bowl you want. Regular or large. For the regular, you can choose two types of protein and for the large, you can choose 3. Then you choose the spices and mix-ins you want, then the sauce, and finally the sides. It is a great meal and we usually will pick that up for dinner when we are not in the mood to cook. I think they could work on consistency a little more but that's with training. That's the main reason why I took off a star. The food is great, but sometimes if the staff is a little light or heavy-handed on the spices and sauces, the flavors are not consistent when you come back multiple times. Otherwise, it's a great place to go and get your Poke cravings satisfied. read more

Maybe it was bad luck but the rice was soggy (see pic)...very disappointing. My friends bowl had better rice but still soggy. They charge extra ($1 each) for premium toppings like tamago and for extra spoonfuls (even for just corn). I could understand charge for premium toppings but for corn? Thursday afternoon is usually Poke. We work in Seattle downtown and with WFH we were looking for some poke place closer to our house! This fit in perfect. We usually get tofu and sweet potato. They are so yumm! The sauces are really good and can get real spicy (depending on which ones you go for). The vegetables are so fresh - everything from edamame, corn, cucumber, onions, etc. Dont miss the crab salad :) We get one scoop of both (regular and spicy ;)) I am not a big fan of their seaweed salad, but my husband loves it. I go for Mac salad, which can be refreshing specially when I get some spicy sauces! The Mochis are pretty good too! Our usual favorite is the Blood orange and Passion fruit. It's "A-OK", AKA 3 stars. It's decent and relatively close to my house, and it's nice to have a poké place close. As others have mentioned, rice portions are huge. Protein (and other toppings) are not. But I found the proteins and toppings tasty (for the most part), in contrast to what some other reviewers felt. Maybe it's a consistency problem. The one item that I didn't find good was the seaweed salad. It was not well made at all, and its taste was not appealing. They do have a good sized menu of pre-designed bowls, in addition to the build your own bowl line. So, if you can't make up your mind when faced with so many choices, pick something from there. One of the things that bugged me most was the farmed Atlantic salmon. For a place that has tent signs on their tables bragging about how local they are and how they pay more for locally sourced ingredients, serving farmed Atlantic salmon is a big slap in the face to its customers. The space is big enough (a few tables). The location is prime, but we didn't see much traffic in the store when we were there. Maybe Totem Lake would have been a better location for this restaurant. Such a good place for a quick meal! Their miso soup came for free with a check in and they also have happy hour (2-4?) where you can roll a dice to get up to 50% off your order. My favorite is making my own bowl and adding their spicy Thai sauce, it's extremely spicy! They have a variety of options to choose from, and the raw fish tasted fresh. I moved to Kirkland from Seattle recently and this place is really the only option for poke. I have been here several times now, and the food is usually good, but the staff are not the most welcoming. I have always felt like I'm inconveniencing the staff by being there, even when I go out of my way to be extra friendly. The last time I was there, I asked the woman working if I could have a bag because I was on crutches and couldn't carry my food without one. She rolled her eyes at me and angrily added the bag to my total. If she had asked if I wanted a bag before ringing me up, she could have prevented her own frustration :). Outside of this, I recommend not ordering from here on delivery apps. I ordered a large bowl recently and all of the portions for my fish and add-ones were smaller than they usually are on the regular bowl. They also got my drink wrong and gave me an un-refrigerated one. I will be making the drive out of Kirkland for better poke options moving forward! This place isn't worth it to me. read more

My favorite poke place! It's delicious from the first bite to the last. I put in a lot of spicy stuff--spicy ahi, spicy crab, and spicy aioli sauces. I think it's the sauces and marination that make it super savory. With the different variety of things I got mixed with the sauces, it really was flavor heaven. A few highlights: The spicy ahi was the perfect soft consistency. Mango brought out a refreshing flavor in midst of the other heavier tasting foods. Spicy crab was a pleasant fit to the mix (it was a good generous portion too). I just felt happy because of all the different variety and content and colors (the picture I have really doesn't do it justice) that was packing into the meal. Left with a happy and full tummy. Also i always love it when a place has its own water station, which makes it really convenient. There's free street parking in front of the place and in all the streets nearby. I walked in here skeptical of how good this would be. I was born and raised in Hawaii and therefore had low expectations of the food they'd be serving up. They proved me wrong! The quality of ingredients is good and there are a ton of ingredients to choose from to make your own custom poke bowl. If you don't know what to choose you can look at some of their pre-determined selections that recommend what fish/starch/sauces/toppings to order. I had the ahi tuna, spicy ahi tuna, and salmon (2scoops) in a large bowl with white rice and salad all for under $12. WHAT?! That's so cheap compared to all of the other poke places I've been to in seattle. And it was good too! The masago and sweet onion toppings made it taste like home and the wasabi shoyu sauce was delish. They have free fruit infused water and restrooms here along with some tables, chairs, and bar seating. Service was great, friendly and quick. They also have a Groupon which I used here. I absolutely love coming here! The bowls are fresh and delicious and there is a ton of variety in the protein, sauces, and proteins. I come in all the time for a healthy and quick lunch or dinner. The bowls always come out beautiful too. The only reason it didn't make 5 stars is because I find there is a lot of variety in the portion sizes. There is one woman who skimps a LOT on protein, but regardless, I find that sometimes the bowl is only about half full and sometimes it is overflowing (I always try to tip the second group very well!). Then my colleague and I decided to try out their Kirkland location and it was just as mediocre. What a yummy poke place in Downtown Kirkland! We came here to get pick-up since we had plans to eat at nearby Flatstick Pub, and since it was rainy that day the staff allowed us to bring our dog - just as long we didn't eat inside. It was really nice of the staff to allow that, and they were helpful along the way, especially since it was my first time here. I looked at the specialty bowls, which all sounded appealing yet decided to build my own bowl since the options seemed endless. And they were! I ended up getting a large salad bowl, which came with four scoops of protein. The server who was helping me also mentioned that they had spicy tuna that day, which isn't normally on the menu, so I definitely ordered that with albacore (my favorite!) and lots of toppings. The build your own bowl really seemed like the best deal if you like lots of toppings, which I do, so was glad I chose that option. And of course, the food was yummy. I loved the spicy tuna since I'm a fan of spice and I haven't seen this option at other poke places, so thumbs-up for that. The salad they use is spring mix, and I think it's worth it to pay a dollar extra for the avocado, which formed into a nice creamy sauce with the spicy aioli that I chose. It was noms. The large portion is a hefty size, too, and I actually didn't end up finishing my meal. The only minor issue is that I wish the cuts of protein/fish had been larger than it was since I would've liked to taste the fish much more than I actually had in my bowl. But, this is a solid place for poke and can't wait for another location to open closer to my pad in Downtown Bellevue. 'Til then I'll always dine here for my poke fix whilst in Kirkland. I've loved sushi for a long time but, Just Poké was the first poke place I ever went to (a few years ago). After getting addicted and trying many others since then, it's generally my go to poké place. I love their assortment of toppings and meat options. Their quality of meat is consistently tender and fresh. I've also visited a few other Just Poké locations in the area and there has always been a friendly and knowledgeable staff member there to greet me. Portion sizes vary which can be annoying ,but overall Just Poké is one of my favorite places to get poké! read more
