Highly recommend the brown sugar bourbon cupcake. It was possibly the best cupcake I have eaten from a bakery...it was perfectly moist with just the right amount of frosting. We stopped by here to get a light breakfast and these pastries did not disappoint! The mixed berry cobbler bars were, as expected, delicious. The cobbler was crumbly, very buttery, and had flakes of large sugar and salt! Very good. The mixed berries in between was very tart, yet sweet, and you could even taste the seeds and actual berry skins. For the apricot scone, you can really taste the scone by itself. It was nice and buttery and with the apricot it wasn't mushy! It has a simple line of glaze on it with some sugar crystals. The apricot provided a nice taste and wasn't too over powering. read more

They have a pretty big space inside Paso Market walk and do custom cakes, cupcakes, macarons, and other baked goods. The setup is very cute with an open view to their baking area. We got a cheddar jalapeño biscuit (good cheese flavor) and a blueberry scone. Service was very friendly. Such an amazing bakery. I ordered a GF cake for my event and wanted something very simple (white cake, white buttercream, naked cake). They did everything PERFECT. It was exactly my vision. The frosting and cake was probably the best I've ever had. My husband doesn't have a gluten allergy and he even loved it. We all snacked on this cake for days because we couldn't get enough! If your looking for trendy and overpriced this is your place. I got 10 cupcakes and it was $40!!! I thought well their going to be freaking delicious for that price. Unfortunately, they were not. The lemon one was ok. The funfetti was raw in the middle. The giant snickerdoodle cookie was also not cooked through all the way and really was just overly sweet, no flavor. I understand inflation and all but geez. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I was really disappointed in this place. Every flavor I tried I though hmmm mine are much better. My fiancée reached out to see if we could add items to our order and got an automated "new customer" email in return. Upon following up directly, the owner was short, rude and condescending. My fiancée was open to looking past it, however the next email was left without a response for the better part of two weeks, at which point we decided to look elsewhere. Most of Paso Robles does not believe there is a pandemic. And this bakery is a perfect example. I came in during the holidays and during a mask mandate, not one employee was wearing a mask. I will admit the items looked interesting and I would have put in a large order but then I noticed the flies on the cupcakes. Turned around and walked out. Flies in the winter?
