Back in 2017, I remembered seeing a billboard just outside of Jus Fruit (that was when all Quickly changed to Jus Fruit) saying they are the first to have shaved ice in YYC. I then bookmarked this place. Not until recently (after over 2 years), I finally got a chance to try their shaved ice. Vancouver had shaved ice long before Calgary. It was a hit over there. Also there are way more shaved ice places in metro Vancouver. I came here with my sister just shortly after our dinner (we ate at a place just few blocks down) for some shaved ice desserts. I was very full from dinner but decided to share something with her. We ended up settling for the creamy mango shaved ice (also known as bingsoo in Korean). I had better shaved ice in Vancouver. The good thing is that Jus Fruit shaved is not really shaved from a block of ice. It was really shaved frozen condense milk ice. So it is not exactly ice. There wasn't a lot of mango in their shaved ice cream. The mango are only placed on top of the dessert along with a few tiny pieces of cheese cakes (size of pinky but shorter). As well the portion is somewhat small for what they are charging compared to Vancouver. Their shaved ice was very flavorful and it wasn't bad. Just wished there were more mango slices. Again, not a lot of places offers shaved ice in Calgary. I guess if I wanted shave ice, I would have to come to Jus Fruit. read more

This is like no breakfast sandwich I've ever had... In the best way...trust me. You can't go wrong with something called a Monster Egg BOMB (emphasis on the bomb) Sandwich. RATING: 8.5/10 - Jusfruit: Monster Egg Bomb Sandwiches What puts this dish in a league of its own is the Danish Style toast. It was buttery, slightly sweet, flaky and reminded me of a cross between a croissant and a slice of French toast. It was a great compliment to all the other ingredients. The scrambled eggs were moist and melted into the cheddar cheese. I got the Korean Beef-- great BBQ taste and extremely tender. The BF got the Lemon Grass Chicken which had a lovely, well, lemon grass flavour. Add the spicy sauce and mayo and you have a most scrumptious creation. My taste buds were thanking me. Yours will too. I would try another one of these in a heartbeat. Perfect hangover food. If you're looking for a quick breakfast or brunch, grab one of these babies. One of the many savory servers in the downtown Calgary. I was there with family and we enjoyed a variety of their bubble tea. Mango avocado seems to be a better taste, as I was not impressed with my passion fruit lemon drink. There are limited available seats inside, but the outdoor is preferred in a good weather. read more

I'm very happy that Calgary finally has gotten a bingsoo/shaved ice place. The place looks nice and clean. The service wasn't bad. They have most of the good shaved ice flavours such green tea etc as well as drinks (bubble tea?) and smoothies to enjoy. One thing would be that it took a bit of time for the food to come out. Good menu and convenient location. The lady in the vest (manager?) has some serious RBF, but otherwise provides standard service. Frankly, I would go to any other branch in the city if they had the same menu and better location. read more

I've been curious about this place all winter, so when I finally saw the patio chairs out, I went in. The shaved ice dessert is amazing. I love that it's not too sweet, but just right. I hate desserts that with dollops of unnecessary calories (whipped cream, scoop of ice cream, sprinkles, yuck!) Sure, it is more expensive than other places, but the quality of ingredients is better--shaved ice, red bean, mango ice cream. I'm hoping that also means less calories? It's going to be part of my summer stops. read more

This place used to be Quickly, but now it's reopened as Jus Fruit under new management, the new owners seem really down to earth and just all around nice people. They recommended the matcha shaved ice which was delicious (very flavorful) ! Definitely coming back here again read more

Slow staff. waited ages for my bubble waffle. they took so long i ended up leaving before they even got it to me because it was freezing cold and i just couldn't take it anymore. i definitely wish i could've gotten my money back. i spent so much money AND i tipped them and i wish i didn't. Went there to try one of the tea's the guy wasn't helpful. I asked him as a first time patron what he would recommend for the hot beverages. I told him my likes and dislikes so he could better help me, but nah...He said everything is good and to try the vietnamese something tea. I did...But did I finish it? No, after 2 sips I got rid of it, it was disgusting and I really wish I had the time to go back for a refund. Not worth the time or the money! read more

When I arrived, the guy said it would be a 15 minute wait which then became 30 minutes...as well, the drinks weren't as advertised. I pointed out a drink on their sreens which showed whipped cream and pocky. Instead, all I got was a plain smoothie. I will not be back. read more

Super yummy drinks, but ZERO safety measures for Covid. Be aware if you go. I understand that it is a $100,000.00 fine for businesses who don't put Covid protocols into place. I hope they fix this soon. read more

Came here to try the widely advertised bingsoo (Korean shaved ice dessert). Waited for 30 minutes only to be told their machine was broken. I asked for a refund and the staff seemed surprised. They didn't apologize or offer me a coupon to come back next time. I also tried their bubble tea which they assured me was made from fresh fruit. It was not. It was all powder and sugar and synthetics. I ordered the egg waffle as well which came slightly warm, not hot, and only crispy around the edges (limp and soggy in the middle). As if it had been sitting around for a while before they brought it out. The staff are frazzled, disorganized and not very friendly. I observed several people leave their tables with half-eaten food and desserts left behind. NOT coming back here, ever. read more
