I arrived at the ice cream shop around 7:30 PM, and there was a line, but it moved relatively quickly. The staff that helped me out was extremely friendly. She greeted me with a smile. As I asked for samples, she made sure that I wasn't allergic to anything before serving the ice cream. I got a split scoop of two separate flavors, and it was a huge portion, probably equivalent to two scoops at other ice cream shops. I really liked the combination of PB banana fried crepes and lemon curd blueberry. The ice cream was creamy without being overwhelmingly sweet. I love Made by Marcus. I feel they have the best ice cream in Calgary. I love their Double Cookies & Cream, Vanilla Bean, and Valrhona's Chocolate. I am "picky" about ice cream, so I always just get C&C. I have tried the others and some seasonal flavors that my partner likes to get. And while I think they taste good, they aren't my vibes. More recently, I realized they offer soft served dipped in chocolate which I think is also Valrhona's but I've not confirmed and OMG its SO GOOD. The chocolate, when it hardens, is *chef's kiss*, and the vanilla soft serve, you cannot go wrong. The workers are always friendly and quick. read more

Dropped by Made by Marcus's newest location in Bridgeland. Got a lemon curd blueberry and sea salt and goat milk caramel ice cream in a waffle cone. Deeeelicious!!!' It was worth the walk here. Located right across from Bridgeland Market. Although I didn't have to line up people arrived shortly. Then there was a lineup. I was lucky. Delicious! This is an absolutely great place for ice cream. I had the strawberry rhubarb tart and the Chinook Honey Apricot Lavender. Loved both! The flavours are unique and perhaps for a more sophisticated ice cream palate. Smaller children might not be adventurous enough to try anything beyond the tried and true cookies and cream. read more

We went here because my aunt was raving about the ice cream. I don't think this is a bad place, but wasn't overly impressed with my first try. Now this is partially on me for experimenting with something I wasn't sure if I liked, but I got a scoop of their sea salt and goat's milk caramel and it was really terrible. Like I couldn't get through it, had to toss it off the top of my cone. No samples are available right now I'm assuming due to COVID, so I'm sure later on when they're available again I'd be able to make a better call. I also got double cookies & cream and that was really good and redeemed my experience! Yay! My boyfriend loved his flavours - also double cookies & cream and malted chocolate honeycomb. He ate his whole cone faster than I could get my goat milk scoop into the garbage. We'll be back again to try again and this time I'll be more diligent with my scoop choices. read more

Best ice cream in the city. Unique creations. You can really taste ALL the flavours in their combinations, nothing is overwhelming or synthetic, flavours are smooth, subtle and chosen appropriately. The texture is what's interesting here its definitely different, its a lot more rich than most places. Probably gained an easy 10lb in a month from here and I don't give a fuck, TAKE MY MONEY. This is our first time visiting the Bridgeland location. We're sure glad that we did, because Marcus makes the most delicious ice cream I've tasted in a long time. The ice cream is so creamy and smooth with the subtle and unique flavours! The staff were pleasant and efficient, despite the long lineup on this sunny autumn day. Social distancing is reinforced by having customers line up outside(there is a red line that you have to stand behind) and all the many flavour selections are posted on a huge sign on the outside wall. They will also check if you have any allergies before taking your order. I ordered the double scoop of Chinook honey apricot lavender and the sea salt goat milk caramel. Hubby ordered the Monogram espresso pretzel toffee(which I wasn't interested in tasting, since espresso isn't my favourite), while our son had the chocolate honeycomb and field strawberries. We also did some research and found that the milk used to make their ice cream are from local grain fed dairy cows. read more
