Sister-In-Law brought over some donuts for a celebration. I'm not sure if this company is known for their donuts but we were really disappointed. The donuts were very small for the price, which already felt questionable, but the flavors were the real letdown. They simply did not taste like what they were supposed to be. The dulce de leche had zero dulce de leche flavor, and the espresso and KitKat donuts were just sweet with no distinct taste at all. For a patisserie, this was shockingly underwhelming. Easy to find via Google Maps. Lots of parking as lots of stores share the parking lot. Menu is quite overwhelming with soooo many options for my first time here. Staff was friendly enough to walk me through ALL the options which was so nice as I learned they can dip the cheesecake for you, you can sample the chocolate dips, toppings cost for each one you order, and they can pour the flavored chocolate over if you get it in a cup vs cone. 1 single-person bathroom was clean. I got the soft serve (only 1 flavor - vanilla) with banana flavored chocolate and skor bits. I tried several of the dips - salted caramel, dulce de leche, cookie dough - but all were sooo sweet. Banana flavor was like having a chocolate coated banana. Skor bits were nice and crunchy. Vanilla ice cream was good but melted sooo fast. Friend got the soft serve with cheesecake chocolate (looked like white chocolate) with pistachios - pistachios were nice a crunchy too. He liked his. We found once the chocolate hardened it was really hard to eat with the weak plastic spoon and had to chip away at it which was quite messy and didn't lead to good chocolate to ice cream ratio. Saturday night at 8:30pm we stop by for our first taste of the famous dips...steady crowd coming in and the space is very bright and clean. It's easy to order from the huge board of hard ice cream, soft serve, dips and toppings. They even have cookies and 4 vegan options which was perfect for a girl who can no longer have cows milk products! Hubby had a large vanilla soft serve with strawberry dip, kit kat and skor bits. Our son had the hard ice cream / mint chocolate chip with skor bits and I had the vanilla soy bar on a stick dipped in dark fleur de sel with hazelnuts and pretzels. Everyone loved their personal creations although hubby said the strawberry dip was a bit too sweet and hard to crack with a plastic spoon. Service was friendly and they are fairly quick. The dip selection is overwhelming so you may want to look around before getting into line to order. Our total came to $21. They have a rewards program in case you are inclined to sign up. Just down the street Mc Donald's is advertising $1 for an ice cream cone. came here with my main squeeze for some ice ma freakin' cream. I am so thankful this place opened up cuz we have a deficiency of dessert places in yyc, especially in the NW area. There are like a bazillion flavours to chose from so the selection is vast. the soft serve is off the sheizyyy. -1 star is because the sitting area is fairly small and the plastic chairs and tables are a bit tacky. When the weather is nice you could just walk around the lake down the street, but for colder days it would be nice if it had a decent sitting area. they could potentially set up about 3-4 booths so more people can sit inside comfortably. This is a fun alternative when in the mood for ice cream. A nice variety of toppings and dips, so you can have something different every time. A bit pricey for ice cream, but that's how it seems everything is these days. I would suggest some kitchen tongs to dip the ice cream sandwiches. They use their fingers, and don't dip the whole sandwich in the topping, so you only get a half dipped sandwich. Can't recommend coming here in good faith. Went on a Friday evening around 9pm. Read a lot about operational issues but staff were ready to take down my order pretty quickly. There are about 20+ types of dips to choose from (Possibly even more) and the concept is simple .. vanilla ice cream is a standard and you pick the type of dip you want and then a topping. For the quality of food, I have to agree with other reviews. The vanilla is something you could get an equivalent at McDonalds, Ikea or the like. Definitely nothing unique about it. As for the dip, the layer is very thin, seemed like the staff were very careful to pour as thin of a layer as possible so it covered the ice cream layer. Don't know if that was on purpose but seemed skimpy compared many other places I have gone to that have been similar. Minuses - Holy cow was this place dirty. All sorts of garbage, melted ice cream, etc under the tables. Clearly no one had bothered to clean that up in hours. - Huge bags of milk just stored in the same fridge where they sell ice cream cakes. Looked super unprofessional and ghetto. They really couldn't store these in the back? My friend mentioned the same thing. - Expensive. Really for $6 - $7, people are expecting a premium product. Can't say any of the experience was premium. Dont order a cake from theses guys, they will send a cake that has missing pieces from it to you and still charge for a full one and when you complain they say "well come all the way to where we are and we will give you a 10 dollar gift card, it cost 10 dollars just to drive there. They grabbed the cake out of the freezer and didnt even look at it, just sent it , very sloppy service and not enough attention to detail if you just shove food in a bag and dont look to see if everything is in order!!!!! Ultimately a more expensive DQ substitute, quality wise this is sub par for the price, i guess the target consumer is the younger crowd nearby for convenience. The prices are more than DQ...roughly, but only slightly less than somewhere like MBM, id rather drive 20 min to get that tbh. Excessively sweet also, with a large amount of seemingly synthetic ingredients and colours. Even somewhere like marble slab is preferable. christ even a mcdonalds or IKEA cone is better.... and those are $1. Simply don't need this place in my life, not for what they charge. read more

Have been to this place several times. Usually busy when I get there. Was there several days ago and only one person working, and paid 5 bucks for this cone. So not entirely workers fault, there were 4 people waiting. She was hurried, but owners shouldn't be cheap and need to have enough staff working. the main concept of this place is the many chocolate hard dips for soft served ice cream. the concept is cool and unique but the drive for myself to this shop is a journey. coming from the deep south i probably wont make the venture out here and would just settle for a dip cone from dq. as for the actual product, i ordered a red velvet covered vanilla cone covered with rainbow sprinkles. it definitely is on the sweeter side and majorly on the messy side for sure. the shop and staff are very welcoming and friendly tho! but probably won't be back here too often bc of how far north it is and how an easy available alternative there is. definitely a one-time-go type of ice cream shop. read more

Got the birthday cake dip and it just tasted like white chocolate. My family got the strawberry and the cookies and cream and they all tasted like white chocolate. It was also pretty pricey for a soft serve dipped in chocolate. The cone did get soggy at the end so i'd recommend getting a cup or a waffle/sugar cone if you don't want a soggy cone! Also, they also have cookie dough (which i want to try next time) and other ice cream options like ice cream sandwiches and bars. The line wasn't that long but it took us a long time just to get ice cream. The 2 ladies working weren't very efficient or it might've just been the system.
