Came here three times during my three days in Calgary. Coming from California, we have a ton of…read moregood food to compare to this. It was super busy the first day we tried it on a Saturday evening. The other two times we came, it was pretty dead. So I would say the crowd can be hit or miss, but expect a long wait during peak times (Fri/Sat evening). Tried like 10 different items. I think my favorite was the jumbo mochi. It had fruit, ice cream, wrapped in mochi. It was the most well-rounded. I would skip on the mochi with peanuts, egg tart mochi, and Thai tea with tiger pearl (giant grass jelly balls). Many on the items are similar, with slight variations and it's hard to tell the different between them. The dessert with lemon and chia seeds was ok. I liked that it was on the lighter side, but the lemon flavor was too strong for me. The options with ice cream in them were the best. They make each item to order, so it can be a little slow but it's understandable. Order on the kiosk and wait to be called to pick up your order. You can order some of the items from the noodle side and I believe you can go sit inside that area as well. Tables only seem to be put out in the hallway during peak times, after the other businesses are closed. Parking is difficult. We were able to get lucky with free parking about a block away. There is a pay parking lot next to it, but it's a little expensive imo and it's very small/tight.

Restroom was closed though. We got the fresh strawberry and mango drinks. You can even adjust the sweetness and the ice level before it gets blended. I think the fruit is already sweet enough so we ordered less sweet and less ice so we can taste the yogurt. It's quite rich and heavy!

Back in 2017, I remembered seeing a billboard just outside of Jus Fruit (that was when all Quickly…read morechanged to Jus Fruit) saying they are the first to have shaved ice in YYC. I then bookmarked this place. Not until recently (after over 2 years), I finally got a chance to try their shaved ice. Vancouver had shaved ice long before Calgary. It was a hit over there. Also there are way more shaved ice places in metro Vancouver. I came here with my sister just shortly after our dinner (we ate at a place just few blocks down) for some shaved ice desserts. I was very full from dinner but decided to share something with her. We ended up settling for the creamy mango shaved ice (also known as bingsoo in Korean). I had better shaved ice in Vancouver. The good thing is that Jus Fruit shaved is not really shaved from a block of ice. It was really shaved frozen condense milk ice. So it is not exactly ice. There wasn't a lot of mango in their shaved ice cream. The mango are only placed on top of the dessert along with a few tiny pieces of cheese cakes (size of pinky but shorter). As well the portion is somewhat small for what they are charging compared to Vancouver. Their shaved ice was very flavorful and it wasn't bad. Just wished there were more mango slices. Again, not a lot of places offers shaved ice in Calgary. I guess if I wanted shave ice, I would have to come to Jus Fruit.

This is like no breakfast sandwich I've ever had…read more.. In the best way...trust me. You can't go wrong with something called a Monster Egg BOMB (emphasis on the bomb) Sandwich. RATING: 8.5/10 - Jusfruit: Monster Egg Bomb Sandwiches What puts this dish in a league of its own is the Danish Style toast. It was buttery, slightly sweet, flaky and reminded me of a cross between a croissant and a slice of French toast. It was a great compliment to all the other ingredients. The scrambled eggs were moist and melted into the cheddar cheese. I got the Korean Beef-- great BBQ taste and extremely tender. The BF got the Lemon Grass Chicken which had a lovely, well, lemon grass flavour. Add the spicy sauce and mayo and you have a most scrumptious creation. My taste buds were thanking me. Yours will too. I would try another one of these in a heartbeat. Perfect hangover food. If you're looking for a quick breakfast or brunch, grab one of these babies. Not sure who's craving dessert at that hour, but clearly there's demand. The interior is cute and nicely decorated, and the menu offers plenty of choices. That said, the options felt pretty standard--mostly crepes or waffles with ice cream and toppings. Nothing really stood out as unique. We ordered the Ferrero crepe with vanilla ice cream. The crepe itself was tasty, but I wish they were a bit more generous with the ice cream and whipped cream since the portions felt small. Overall, it was an okay experience--not bad, but not a must-visit either.

Every time I come, I am consistently seated near the entrance, even though there are many other tables available. I also always order a decaf Americano. On one occasion, despite ordering a decaf Americano, I was served a latte instead and was told that decaf Americano was not available at this café. I have allergies to both milk and caffeine. The drink was only replaced after I clearly explained my allergies to the staff member who was serving me. I was even charged an additional fee for making the drink iced that day. What I found hard to understand was that the same staff member asked me to leave a Google review at the time -- which is why I am writing this review today. This is a menu item I order regularly, which made the situation even more confusing. Overall, the repeated seating choices and lack of attentiveness made me feel uncomfortable and singled out as a customer. I hope the staff can be more considerate and consistent in their service going forward.

We were four (two seniors) and went for an Avocado Wrap, an Egg Wrap, a Vegan Sandwich and, a Hummus Wrap. For beverages, we went for an Americano and a Ginger Tea with Milk. Now, unless you're alone, it won't make any sense to be here because the wraps (Avocado and Hummus) and the sandwich (Vegan) tasted very much the same. It was like the sandwich was the same as the wrap, except that the tortilla was replaced by bread. We didn't eat Egg Wrap since we're vegans but my father-in-law thought it was good. The worst experience we had was with the ginger tea. The issue was with the split milk. It might have to do with the ginger used since they showed us the milk they were using and it looked fine. The gentleman said that that's how it is and it doesn't mean the milk is bad or something. We weren't convinced - having had ginger tea every day back home. The gentleman showed his own ginger tea which he was drinking but that also had split milk and he was drinking it happily. By this time I had lost the motivation to argue and just left it there. Americano was okay. Overall, I'll give it a pass.

Unfortunately they didn't have these on the menu. Instead I purchased a chocolate brownie. It was rich and especially gooey (as opposed to cakey). Lots of chocolate chips too but no icing. I prefer my brownie with a slightly crisp top, and somewhat cakey middle. The texture was too much on the side of uncooked dough in my opinion. Not to mention the $5.50 price for such a small portion left me wondering and wanting more. The store was very cute and definitely a good space to enjoy a coffee or treat from their menu. The cheesecake offerings looked scrumptious. The young lady behind the counter was very welcoming. I did not see wheelchair accessibility.
