    Milk bingsoo

One of the true bingsoo places in Calgary. Disappointed they don't have the bingsoo hot pot like the Snowy Village in Edmonton. Still a good option if you are all 'shave-iced' out from other dessert places. I wanted to try the mango bingsoo or the watermelon.. they were out of both. I had the milk bingsoo instead. Quite pricey - $14 for a large. I thought it could be a bit more reasonably priced.

My kids just ordered a mixture of chocolate and mango bangsoon... I've never had one before even though we came from Chinatown in Toronto where we were literally the only Caucasians. But I tried some and it's quite delicious, it's impossible to describe, the texture is like nothing I've ever tried before. Oh I also love the take-out bag they gave us, it's insulated and shiny silver and very cool I'm definitely going to use it for my water bottle on hot days from now on. My only concern is it was quite expensive, almost $18!........If they reduce the cost even just a little bit we would definitely be there more often. And they would be able to get credit clientele of the kids from school across the street.

Snowy Village is one of those places where you know you're always going to enjoy what you get and I'm glad one of my favourite bingsu places is finally in Calgary! My go to is always the mango as they are always super generous with the fruit! I love that they layer it as well so you don't "run out" of toppings as you get closer to the bottom. It's around $12 per item and is good to share between 2-3 people. They also have taiyaki which is 3 for $11! They have about 10 tables and a few tables outside but it can definitely fill up fast. I'd definitely come back but I wish they'd open up a location in the south too!

Been here twice already! I believe this may be the first bingsu place (jusfruit doesn't count) in Calgary. The prices are average and they do a pretty good job. You do have to wait a bit since it takes a while for them to make. There's also not much table space and can get quite crowded over the weekends on a hot summer day. They also have a couple of flavours with almond toppings. As someone with a nut allergy, I just ask them to leave that off and it's not a problem. I wish they had some "surprises" in their bingsu like some of the other places (I found cornflakes, nesquik cereal and other random crunchy surprises inside at the bottom of the bingsu so the flavour isn't just milk at the end). The portion sizes are quite large and are great for sharing. They also sell drinks and boba as well but haven't tried it, seems a bit overpriced for the size. I'd definitely come back when I have my next bingsu craving though I don't live close at all. Keep in mind that they take debit and cash only so make sure you have one or the other before you go!

Service 2/5 - cashier was rude and was not helpful when ordering and disrespectful. Food 4.5/5 - their Oreo was great but their cheesecake was nothing special. The sweetness was good on the top except for the bottom all the sweetness fell down. Clean 5/5 Environment 5/5

Very friendly staff, we'd never had Korean ice cream before and they're recommendations were so tasty! A very fun treat.

the bingsoo was amazing the texture how it started as ice shavings then melted into ice cream.

This is definitely a high tech coffee and tea place. Seating are first come first served. There are…read morenot really any service here unless you are ordering food, I guess. So we walked in and we were not ask if we are doing to go or sitting down. Ok. So we went up to the counter and wanted to order. The staff told us to use the touch screen IPad. So we did that. We then got our drinks and sat ourself down. No one came to clean the tables. Yes the table we sat at was dirty. Oh well. Drinks are really good but the service, cleanness and tidiness is just really off. I ordered the Almond, sesame milk tea. Loved it.

Interesting place with lots of seating. Order by iPad then pay at counter. They have lunch specials…read morelike chicken on rice and daily drink specials too but I was only interested in a lychee peach bubble tea. I had to inquire about the flavour mixture due to my dairy issue. Don't get anything with coconut as it has milk powder in it if you're dairy free. The man behind the counter informed me of this and was very helpful about my options. They have slush, milk tea, plain tea, smoothies with many flavour choices. I did find my peach lychee overly sweet so I'll ask about half sweet next time. The place was fairly clean but I found the bathroom to be spotless and the toilet to start singing. Check my pic and you'll understand why! Not the best bubble tea but I'd try again if in the area.

Back in 2017, I remembered seeing a billboard just outside of Jus Fruit (that was when all Quickly…read morechanged to Jus Fruit) saying they are the first to have shaved ice in YYC. I then bookmarked this place. Not until recently (after over 2 years), I finally got a chance to try their shaved ice. Vancouver had shaved ice long before Calgary. It was a hit over there. Also there are way more shaved ice places in metro Vancouver. I came here with my sister just shortly after our dinner (we ate at a place just few blocks down) for some shaved ice desserts. I was very full from dinner but decided to share something with her. We ended up settling for the creamy mango shaved ice (also known as bingsoo in Korean). I had better shaved ice in Vancouver. The good thing is that Jus Fruit shaved is not really shaved from a block of ice. It was really shaved frozen condense milk ice. So it is not exactly ice. There wasn't a lot of mango in their shaved ice cream. The mango are only placed on top of the dessert along with a few tiny pieces of cheese cakes (size of pinky but shorter). As well the portion is somewhat small for what they are charging compared to Vancouver. Their shaved ice was very flavorful and it wasn't bad. Just wished there were more mango slices. Again, not a lot of places offers shaved ice in Calgary. I guess if I wanted shave ice, I would have to come to Jus Fruit.

This is like no breakfast sandwich I've ever had…read more.. In the best way...trust me. You can't go wrong with something called a Monster Egg BOMB (emphasis on the bomb) Sandwich. RATING: 8.5/10 - Jusfruit: Monster Egg Bomb Sandwiches What puts this dish in a league of its own is the Danish Style toast. It was buttery, slightly sweet, flaky and reminded me of a cross between a croissant and a slice of French toast. It was a great compliment to all the other ingredients. The scrambled eggs were moist and melted into the cheddar cheese. I got the Korean Beef-- great BBQ taste and extremely tender. The BF got the Lemon Grass Chicken which had a lovely, well, lemon grass flavour. Add the spicy sauce and mayo and you have a most scrumptious creation. My taste buds were thanking me. Yours will too. I would try another one of these in a heartbeat. Perfect hangover food. If you're looking for a quick breakfast or brunch, grab one of these babies. Who else loves a breakfast sandwich?
