I wish I could give it 10 stars I love Jus organic. What a brilliant menu from Buddha bowls, salads, fresh juices, smoothies, slices of what looked like banana bread & cookies. A really cozy spot with counters by the window with bar style seats, multiple tables and comfy chairs with cushions by the window where you can people watch or soak in the sun . The service was perfect, the gals behind the register were very cheerful and helpful (I wanted a lavender latte but I don't do well with caffeine....she suggested and made me the absolutely most perfect coffee). I had a hankering for something sweet and noticed they had monkey bread which the cashier was nice enough to heat up and bring over to me at my table. Both items paired together were perfect, if you have never had monkey bread give it a try I am sure you will love it. There are loads of goodies to look at and purchase as well so take a look around while you wait for your beverage or food. Can't wait to go back. read more

This is my first time eating here and I decided to get a couple of things I got the chicken barbecue sandwich special, which was far beyond my expectations along with a shot, which has seven medicinal mushrooms in it and it actually tasted good and I feel so good afterwards. I got the mango smoothie which taste like an apple pie and I also got their savory French toast, sweet bread and just wow I'm going to think about this place all the time if it was a little closer I would probably eat here at least three times a week must try even if you're not vegan. I would never go to juice organic ever again. The owner Renee Dorski is extremely rude and does not know how to speak to customers. I have been a patron of this establishment for 3 years and this is the first time I've ever been asked to leave for doing absolutely nothing. Over the past two weekends, I sat at the couch in the front window, completing my homework. There was no issue last week when I sat and ordered a coffee and wrote my essay. Today, I was approached by a barista three times asking if I needed anything else. I kindly said I didn't need anything else and that I was OK. The owner then approached me and asked me if I was enjoying my seat on the floor with my back to the couch, which her establishment is decorated with furniture from Bali, with a relaxed vibe. I complemented her tattoos and said I was. After this she said, "you do you" and proceeded to roll her eyes and stomp away. I thought this was bizarre. After this, she finally developed the courage to inform me that the weekends are reserved for dining, which is no where listed, which she could have explained to me when she saw me last week. I would have COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD. I looked shocked and all I said was "ok". She also had NO CUSTOMERS in the building and had 5 indoor tables, 3-4 outdoor tables and a bar area with ZERO customers. She PROCEEDED to tell me to "go to Starbucks if I want to camp out somewhere". Again, I said "ok" and felt uncomfortable so I left. I paid and left no tip based on how rude her approach was. No comment, no complaint, just walked away. She then FOLLOWED me outside of her shop and told me not to come back because I didn't tip HER server based on how SHE approached her customer. I wouldn't want to come back after this and I can't imagine anyone would. You tip someone based on GOOD SERVICE, not being treated and told to "go to Starbucks if you want to camp out". I did not argue back, did not complain, just took my book and computer and left. She continued to cause a scene in the middle of the road. I told her I was uncomfortable screaming in the MIDDLE of a BUSY STREET and asked if she would move the discussion to the sidewalk, which she refused. She continued on about tipping servers when the real issue was her OWN mistake of not making it clear that the weekends were reserved for dining or even politely stating ANYTHING. She then continued to say I have no restaurant etiquette. This place looks and presents as a relaxed vibe coffee shop. I told her I've been a bartender and worked in many restaurants and I'd never approach a customer like that and wouldn't expect a tip after an owner was so rude to a customer. Based on how empty this place is two weekends in a row, I can't imagine turning away a customer that ordered a 6 dollar 9 ounce juice. Numerous people on the street came up to me asking me if I was ok and what happened and stated similar experiences with her. One woman was about to go in to buy a smoothie and said she didn't want to give her any business based on what she saw. All in all, tell your customers up front what the weekends are for and give them the opportunity to respect it. Maybe make a sign or a post it on your menu so it is clear and there would be no need for the dramatics? Your website states that your intention of JUS is to "embrace and add to the community". Everyone deserves a level of respect and decency. Something as simple as informing a customer of your invisible ink posted rules, should have been met with that. read more

The drawback was it was probably the most expensive salad I've ever eaten, and the tofu helping was too meager to get enough protein. Such a random good find! I was drinking a coffee and studying at Jersey Shore Coffee Roasters when I got hungry. Searching on yelp led me to Jus Organic, which I had never heard of before. But it was healthy, and had great reviews so I figured, why not. Driving by, it looks a little unassuming but as soon as I stepped in, it was like I stepped into a hipster cafe in Brooklyn. And I mean that in the best way possible. The place is clean, has ample seating, and a variety of drinks and innovative dishes. I ordered one of the specials of the day--which was the goat cheese toast, topped with mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle. It came with a side salad of kale, garnished with almonds and a few sweet potatoes and a seed chip/cracker. The toast was HUGE, I was so full, I could have only eaten half but it was too good to stop. Strong truffle taste, but I'm a sucker for truffle anything. The kale was a little tough, it could have done with a bit more massaging. And while the seed cracker was good, it wasn't anything crazy. But I liked the sweet potato slices! You first bite in and your mouth is filled with a sweetness but then it has a slight kick at the end that I didn't expect but thoroughly enjoyed. I only had their self-serve grapefruit water, which was excellent, but if I had more room I would have tried some of their other beverages, which are sprinkled with fairy dust or whatnot. I came here for the first time today after passing it several times and seeing great reviews. Since it was a weekend, they had a special brunch menu. Upon entering, I was asked if I wanted for here or to go. I decided to sit and stay. Instead of the waitress handing me a menu, she began to ask me questions about my personal preferences. She recommended their typically hot "campfire" drink over ice, with their in-house coconut milk. I ordered that. Shortly after, I had an Instagram worthy drink: frothy espresso over ice, sprinkled with cinnamon and sea salt, served in an old school Mason jar. It hit the spot. For my meal, she recommended "the Egg special" which included 2 eggs, farm-fresh mushrooms, and goat cheese. After about 5 minutes, I was served the dish in a piping hot skillet. It also came with 4 large slices of toasted bread, a cup of blueberries, and 2 orange slices. When I got my bill ($20) the wrote a nice note and said she hopes to see me soon. Everyone was super nice and personable. The food was very healthy, but you couldn't even tell because it's that delicious! Definitely returning here and probably will become a regular. read more

The food here is really great, undeniably healthy, and there is always something new and interesting to try. All the employees are super friendly and helpful as well! I love that they offer grab and go items as well as nicely plated lunch/brunch foods. The kids menu is allergy friendly as well. There is an outdoor area for seating, and (during non covid) a wonderful kids seating area with toys and books that my toddlers adore. They also have some wonderful gift items and cbd products! A cozy and homey spot in Atlantic highlands. We felt welcome right away. The owner was super sweet and made us feel at home sharing stories and explaining her menu. Coffee and teas sprinkled with "moon dust" put us in the mood to take on the day. We each had an acai bowl and the goat cheese toast. This is the only organic vegan restaurant around atlantic highlands. They have salads, coffee, tea. brunch, soups, smoothies, juices, protein balls and healthy snacks. I believe they make their own coconut and almond milk. The food and drink are on the expensive side. Portions are small as well. I write this review heavy hearted because the owner seems incredibly sweet and well-intentioned. Also the drinks are delicious ! But the lack of professionalism is ASTOUNDING. First off, for a juice / smoothie place to open so late in the day is absurd. Most juice places open very early because HELLO smoothies/juices are breakfast food, and a great alternative to fast food. There are almost no good option for early morning foods / drinks, and I don't think it's a stretch to ask for a juice place to fill that demand. Lol. Well it's not possible for me and many others in the Atlantic highlands area to eat healthy breakfast foods as we are all I am well on my way with the working day when they are just OPENING ! Secondly, the service is pretty awful. Half the time they don't pick up the phones. The menu isn't clear, I was once told to go search for it on social media. What a JOKE. They seem to have a great product but horrendous business savvy. Maybe bring in someone who knows how to actually run a business so you can focus at what your best at-- the quality of the products which again is very good. But I'm done pulling teeth and doing cartwheels to get a freaking juice. Open early, have a clear menu, and for gosh sakes when your employees answer the phone, have them say SOMETHING. I'm not kidding I have never had a positive phone experience with this place, other than the owner. Although I would have loved some more eggs and chicken options, the baked eggs works for me. My friend and I were looking for a place that sells smoothie's on our way to Atlantic Highlands to go hiking at the park and we found this place. It's a little place with an intiving atmosphere. Everyone that was working was super polite, personable, and nice. They have a decent sized menu or items. Everything is organic and made to order. We did not eat here but the food that they were cooking, and what people were eating already, looked good. We got our smoothie's and let me tell you! They were delicious! We also decided to grab some hummus with carrots and celery to go. I didn't get to take a picture of it because we dug right in. The size of the hummus is big. You need to share it. My only gripe is that they didn't give us enough veggies to finish the hummus so ask for extra! read more
