My mom and I absolutely adored this place, they have so many cute odds and ends so the atmosphere is amazing, they have post positivity signs and pro choice and eve free stuff for people who need it! As for the food, it was so delicious! Everything from the breakfast, to the wrap for lunch, to even all the deserts was just so fresh! They' even have fresh sauces made in house that was so good nothing I've ever tasted before! Service was amazing, we were greeted and given time to choose what we wanted, served and offered really nice hospitality. If you're in the area or even a little farther it's so worth coming out here, my mother and I came an hour out to try this place and it was worth the drive. Chicken Sammi was good and the alternative "chicken" was delicious with the honey mustard came with a side of kale and chips. The crunch wrap was just okay. I think compared to your taco bell crunch wrap what lacked was the melted cheese and abundance of sour cream alternatives. I live almost an hour away and try to stop by as much as possible...I'm not even vegan, it's just that good. The Bagel with Just Egg 'n Cheese is bangin'. And you know what else is bangin'? Adding temeph bacon and the walnut sausage to it. The loaded biscuits are also amazing. The stuff that takes the cake is the bakery case. And cake is a baked good. So it makes sense. Tasted mostly of honey mustard, it oozed out of the seitan. The crunch wrap was a bit dry--maybe the tortilla chips absorbed too much moisture? The kale salad was good on both, though I'd probably rather have passed on the chips and just have had a slightly cheaper price. Food was pretty good overall. Service was a bit cold, though. I didn't try anything from the hot food menu, but I was able to grab a cosmic brownie, banana nut crumb cake, a cinnamon roll, and compost cookie. Cat's Luck is consistently awesome. We love both their desserts and their meals. Moving back to NJ last summer, this was one of the first vegan spots we found and have never had a bad experience since. The Italian sandwich is delicious, and I appreciate being able to get a classic pork roll egg and cheese, minus the cruelty. The anisette and sandwich cookies are my favorite! I'm sorry I really wanted to like this place in terms of food. I love what they are doing for the community but food is meh at best. I got the fried chicken sandwich my sister got the lasagna Crunchwrap and we had a slice of spicy peanut butter cake. The chicken was so thick I had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite and it tasted closer to fake sausage than chicken. My sisters lasagna Crunchwrap has a weird seasoned kale and the tomato sauce was definitely something store bought. The spicy peanut cake was not spicy and extremely dry. Not sure if fresh or just very stale. The little side salad next to the sandwich was good though and chips not bad. read more

We absolutely love Cats Luck and have been picking up their baked goods when available at Twisted Tulip (a coffee shop in north NJ!) I had no clue this place existed until a couple months ago when they had a clothing swap. As soon as we walked in on the day of the swap I knew I liked the vibe of this place. BUT THEN I actually saw the menu. As a vegetarian of 17ish years, I was overwhelmed by the prospect of having actual options to choose from on the menu. Everything is vegan AND delicious?! I got a crunchwrap that first time & have gone back basically every weekend since. It's basically become happy place.
