We visited this restaurant on 06/01, called ahead to make a reservation. The lady on the phone said that it would be a 5 minute wait, once we arrived there we had to wait a bit longer. Once we got seated we waited and waited for someone to come by an take our order at least 15 minutes. We saw 2 waitresses speeding by our table many times neither one of them stopped to even say "hello I will be your waitress, I will be right with you." My wife had to flag one of them down and asked , finally someone stopped by to take our order. We got the Fresno State Omelet , biscuits and gravy and hash, my wife ordered the French toast sandwich. We are new to the area and wanted to give this place a try. It was delicious, we had a party of 6, waited 15 minutes to be seated which wasn't bad at all as it was a holiday. Worth the wait! This is my go to place for breakfast. And I am not the only one. The place quickly gets packed. Want steak and eggs, three to chose from. Like pork chops and eggs, yum. I always take one home with the excellent salsa. I always ask for extra salsa as it is so good. The menu has a great variety. The service is great. Coffee refills are frequent. What really matters is the food and they're always great. Their biscuits and gravy are fantastic and they serve real thick cut bacon. Portions are very sizable and the quality of ingredients is always on point. Prices are on point but don't be surprised when breakfast for 2 is around $40 dollars. This is second visit to Jus' Joes and both times we had Lucy as our waitress. She is the best! She Never forgets about her tables. Both visits she refilled our beverages often, made sure we had everything we needed, was friendly, she smiled the entire time & never rushed us. The kitchen made our food rather fast so that's another plus. I had the California Omelet: Avocado, Asparagus, tomato, onion. I wish they added more than 3 slices of Avocado (then again im an avocado lover) overall very delicious. Their salsa is a two thumbs up. My husband had Jo's special omelet: everything in the kitchen and seemed to enjoy his omelet. MIL: had Fresno state omelet she gives it a two thumbs up. Service here was fantastic. They were very attentive and quick, so there are no complaints there. The food was pretty lackluster. It's not that is was bad, but it was pretty bland compared to other meals I've had. I think a large part of that is due to the demographics they serve. They need a more tamed down food experience. I wasn't particularly impressed with the chile verde, but the chefs were very accommodating to special requests, so the fourth star is for the customer service. read more

We were just asked by the owners to dump our drinks we brought in . This is the first time we knew of this a policy after coming here for years and recommending it to everyone for one of the best breakfast restaurants in the area. Now my recommendation is to find another place because of their in their inability to handle customers in an understanding way. They could have said kindly not to bring drinks the next time we came to the restaurant and I would've respected a new policy on Future visits. Came to this small restaurant during a very busy weekend, so we did have to wait but staff were very nice. Their breakfast quesadilla is very good but it's a big serving and I could only finish half of it. We ordered their famous cinnamon bun French toast not know what to expect but we were honestly really disappointed that it was literally just a large cinnamon bun cut in half hamburger bun style that had been quickly heated up on the grill. Maybe we came at the wrong time with the rush because the cinnamon bun was also dry. We may give them another try the next time we're in town when it's not as crazy busy. read more

Went to Jus' Jo's for breakfast today. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive and friendly atmosphere. The setting reminds me of our time in Norman, Oklahoma. There was a great restaurant that we went to that had wonderful country breakfasts. There are daily specials that you can choose from with great prices. There are several Mexican style choices as well. I ordered a huevos rancheros dish with country potatoes, beans, and biscuits and gravy. It was delicious! My husband ordered eggs, potatoes and jalapeño chicken sausage. It was very tasty and good. The service here is outstanding. Our waitress was so helpful in guiding us through the menu. She even shared a recipe with us for preparing sausage and where we can purchase them. We never had to ask for more coffee because everyone is so attentive to the customers needs. It was refreshing! My only suggestion is that the salsa that was used in my breakfast entree was very hot! So be careful if you have a low tolerance to spicy food. On the other hand my husband loved it.
