Walked in for a massage and honestly should've turned around the second I got there. The woman at reception wouldn't even look at my face, acting like she was personally saving the world behind that computer screen. I stood there awkwardly waiting forever, and when she finally acknowledged me it felt less like a spa and more like I was bothering someone at a government office or student affairs desk. I got a full body massage and somehow I ALWAYS make this mistake -- trying random massage places and ending up with the newest, least experienced person they can find. I'm not exaggerating when I say the massage felt like she was just applying lotion to my body. That's it. Like her job was spreading oil around, not actually massaging. On top of that, she barely understood English. I only booked 30 minutes because I went during a break in my day just to relax a little, so I didn't even have time to argue or make a scene. At one point I asked if she could press into my back a bit more or crack it slightly and she literally goes, "I am not sure, let me try." LET ME TRY??? Left there somehow more tense than when I walked in, except now I'd also paid for the privilege. Massage place owners seriously need to get massages from their own employees before hiring them. Nothing is more frustrating than going somewhere specifically to relax and ending up unable to communicate with the person touching your body because they don't speak a word of English. read more

My shoulders were killing me after a rave, so I decided to give June Massage a try. It honestly helped a lot. I felt much looser afterward, and the massage technique was really good. Definitely coming back. read more

Jenny is skilled, professional, kind, and genuinely cares about helping her clients. She always takes the time to understand which areas I need the most attention and carefully adjusts the pressure throughout the session. The staff may have different levels of English fluency, but they are patient, attentive, and make every effort to communicate clearly. I suggest using a translation app when needed and being patient and understanding with them as well. I have always felt understood and welcomed during my visits. Good service is about care, effort, and professionalism, and Jenny and the staff consistently provide all three. I always leave feeling less tense, refreshed, and well cared for after a session with Jenny. I can see that she puts her heart into her work, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring massage therapist. read more

Great walk-in place. All practitioners I have had have been great. The only issue I have is a couple of times I have been shamed for giving a 20% tip. Is that not OK? Other than that is is clean and nice. read more

I followed my favorite masseuse to this location and this location is my favorite that she has worked. It's easy to get to and very nice

I walked in without an appointment and told the receptionist about the discomfort in my shoulders and back; they assigned a masseur to me, and the session felt absolutely amazing--I felt relaxed like never before. I highly recommend it. read more

I have come many times here because it's an average massage but affordable. However, this last time all seemed well till when I left and gave the tip, I gave her 18% and she looked at me in disdain and even asked me to give her 20%, this was definitely not cool. There is nowhere written that 20% is mandatory, plus she scratched me because her nails were not trimmed, and almost moved me many times as if I was a rag doll. I understand tip is a nice to support lower wage workers, but never mandatory, less requested and made the customer feel like shit for not adding 2% more. I'm quite disappointed this time. Hope they see this review and decide to improve. read more

I Had an Amazing massage Chunli did a wonderful job she really took care of all the necessary spots .. Would definitely recommend her!

June massage has been in business for 16 year's. I can't recommend this place enough!! I came in for a Swedish deep tissue massage and left feeling like a completely new person. The atmosphere was calm and inviting--perfect for unwinding the moment you step through the door. My therapist, Amy, was absolutely amazing. Her technique was skillfully combined a soothing flow of a Swedish massage going deeper, targeting pressure points, I needed to work on the tension in my feet, legs and lower back. She constantly checked in to make sure the pressure was comfortable and adjusted as needed. The entire experience felt personalized and professional. From the relaxing essential oils to the peaceful ambiance and every detail was clearly thought out to enhance comfort and healing. If you're looking for a massage that is both deeply relaxing and therapeutically effective, this is the place. I'll definitely be booking again soon! Amy you are amazing........! read more

+1 star because good value I have had full body massage by male therapist and another female therapist. prefer the male b/c he was stronger. I like deep tissue massage to get at stress knots. all spoke good English I used to do the foot massage which is much more economical, but I like the full body better. negative: walls are thin, so I could hear initially someone chatting nextdoor. and they had a clock that had a ticking sound, but that all went away with music and the bliss of massage read more

I accidentally purchased a gift certificate online. (I am out of town and we have a place by the same name where I live). I contacted them and they immediately got on it and gave me a refund, and they were so kind about it. If I am ever in the area I will definitely go to them. read more

Really loving my visits to June Massage. The massages are great and leave me feeling relaxed every time. The prices are reasonable too, which is a plus. The staff are welcoming, making the overall experience pleasant. Amy is outstanding, offering a particularly great massage, but I've had good experiences with other therapists there as well. If you're looking for a solid massage place that's affordable, June Massage is worth checking out. read more

I made an appointment and when I checked in they acted as if I didn't. I have never been asked to prepay for services, however, this seems to be the norm when checking in. My massage therapist and estetician was a young woman who was rather rude. She didn't seem like she was licensed. The massage was below average and during the facial she hit me with the machine cords repeatedly. When I got home I noticed a large bruise on the side of my nose. Be cautious. I won't go there again. read more

I have been coming to June massage for 8 years. I always trust them to give a great massage at a great price. It's an excellent value. I love that I can get same day appointments with no problem. June is a great entrepreneur, and I like to patronize a woman-owned business. I come here with my husband for a couples evening, or with a girlfriend to have a fun and relaxing event. If you haven't been here before, ask June to recommend a masseuse based on the kind of massage you like. The prices are low, so expect to pay about 20% tip in cash. I highly, highly recommend! read more

Went in a for a foot+body massage. Some things one should know: This establishment doesn't take privacy seriously, several times the masseuse left the room with the door open/ajar during the massage session Horrible customer service. The masseuse literally demanded a 30% tip and started fighting saying she has to close the shop and it's late etc etc. Completely undid the entire massage experience Definitely not coming back! read more

I have been to June Massage multiple times. I went the other day for a deep tissue massage. The massage itself is $70.00. I gave a $10.00 tip and they were ungrateful. They were speaking in mandarin and bad mouthing me. I asked them if $10.00 was not enough and they said it should've been a $20.00 tip. It is extremely unprofessional of them to speak badly about their customers. I can understand and speak mandarin and was disappointed to be treated that way. I was going to give a $5.00 tip because the massage itself was already so expensive. I will not be returning to June Massage. They also will speak badly about their customers after leaving the massage room. I noticed them talking about customers without realizing that maybe some of the customers can understand what they were saying. It is an unfortunate situation. read more

The company has increased their fees by 5 dollars inhouse. They will honor the website fees. June the owner was personable, kind and friendly. Amy was the gem of the day. Very disappointed with my last session, the masseuse was very inexperienced, did not properly cover some parts of the body and did only 50 minutes instead of the scheduled 1 hr. June, here's some tips on how you can make people want to come back. The massages were pretty good, it was hard to communicate with them ( language barrier). They should ask before they pull back the sheet very far .... it felt inappropriate and uncomfortable especially because she was also massaging my butt with her bare hands. I've never had this happen. Also, they need to CLOSE THE DOORS! The workers should not be loud. The point of a massage is to be relaxed. There's no calm music in the rooms. Also makes it less relaxing. If you can make it more professional , quiet, relaxing that would help a lot. read more

I highly recommend this place. I am an engineer working in High-Tech industry, after many years of high-stress work on computer/keyboard, I developed chronical lower-back pain, neck muscle stiffness and guyon tunnel syndrome. I didn't know much about deep tissue massage until one day my Physical Therapist recommended June's massage. June's massage not only provide professional deep tissue massage but also can focus on a specific area and the staff is very easy to talk to. In my case, after a few weeks of massage my lower back pain is gone. The massage on my shoulder/neck/hand is also very helpful, it really helps to loosen my tight muscle around my hand and my nerve pain in the guyon tunnel hasn't come back ever since. I also like the relaxing atmosphere and the clean massage rooms. I come to June's massage regularly now and I highly recommend June's massage. read more

As a new person to the area and to the massage facility, I was disappointed in the service I received. I think that they should have clients fill out a sheet detailing what types of pressure they would like and any particular spots to focus on. I received a lack-luster greeting, immediate pay for service, and walked to a massage room that needed more sheets on the table. My foot massage was handled roughly and I have never, in my years of experience receiving a massage, seen poor etiquette such as entering into the room before knocking, grabbing a body part firmly to move it (ex: ankle), or even climbing on top of the massage table (while I was face down) to add more pressure to my back. I felt uncomfortable. To put the icing on the cake, at the end I was told that I needed to "go to the gym." Not a great message to tell someone that visits a vulnerable facility for services AND is also plus size. read more

Exceptional every time!! This location is pure & simple GREAT massage. It's not one of many spas where I've spent significantly more for massages that by far do not meet the level of excellence here! I've literally had thousands of massages in my life. And I've had neck & back injury. June Massage is my weekly resource for recovery & relaxation! And every single massage therapist that has worked on me is AMAZING! June, the owner, is often present in the clinic & makes sure that everything is on point. & it always is just that! Absolutely fantastic!! read more

I had an OK massage here today. As we were tipping the masseuse, I saw the receptionist's face. She aggressively guilt-tripped me to give more. She continued passive aggressively saying "If this is what you are comfortable with than it must be OK. But our people here work really hard". I work really hard, too. I think she is trying to help her colleagues without realizing she is hurting them. A tip and the amount of tip is always appreciation of the customer not the business. It was super unprofessional and uncomfortable. Hence, today they lost a customer because of this culture and behavior. I won't go here again. I don't recommend it either. read more

June Massage has an incredibly professional staff. My wife and I, for the past eight or 10 years, get a massage every week or so. Several months ago we switched from another acupuncture/massage clinic to June's. Zero regret! They are professional offering deep, therapeutic or relaxation massage. June will have our business forever. Highly, highly recommended. June's clinic is also spotless and roomy. Pefrect. Book a massage now. You will be impressed! L&K, Los Altos read more

After searching high and low for the most dependable, clean and excellent massage place in the area, I found it in my own backyard, at June Massage. Their prices are very reasonable in relation to comparable establishments (the 90 minute rate is the same as the 60 minute rate elsewhere). June is always a welcoming presence at the front desk. Hands-down, my favorite person there is Linda, I have seen her many times. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and expert and caring in what she does. I highly recommend that you consider visiting her and June Massage. read more

June massage is named after the owner- June. She is a very cool woman who always puts a smile on my face for her ability to manage a clean business and for also being a female boss. Conveniently located on ECR across from San Antonio shopping center and CVS,this is the best foot massage and full body massage around town. There is plentiful parking in the back and a few spaces in front that sometimes are taken up by the little kids learning fencing next door. Just drive down the side of the building and you'll find lots of parking out back. $30 will get you and hour foot massage on a semi-private chair. It is set up to be very serene and relaxing. $50 will get you a private massage for one hour in a room. This is my preference. In fact, if my schedule allowed, I would get a massage every week. Nothing is more invigorating but also relaxing. They have a multitude of other massage combinations and permutations to try out. I'm sure they are all great. Big shout out to many of the amazing massage therapists whom I dare not mention the names of lest they be stolen from me. Kidding, not kidding! read more

I've been here multiple times for foot massages and have been happy with my experience every time. As with all other Chinese reflexology places, please note that this is a no frills type massage compared to your high end Western-style spas - you keep your clothing on, no fluffy robes, no special oils. However, the massages are amazing, especially for the price, and they keep you covered with a clean towel or sheet on top of your clothes. Currently a one hour foot massage costs $40 (add $1 if paying by credit card) and includes about 15 min of upper body work, 30 min of foot massage, and 15 min on your back. My masseuse today was Jason (who did amazing work by the way!) and before we started, he asked what type of pressure I wanted and checked a few times to make sure I was still comfortable with the amount of pressure I was using. I highly recommend making an appointment. They do take walk-ins but you might be waiting a while if you didn't previously schedule an appointment. Would definitely keep coming back here! read more

The best low-end massage place I've been to in Mountain View. Paid $40 (massage) and $10 (tip, ). TLDR; Tippers: - Most of the people giving you a massage will not speak fluent English so communication is a little meh unless you speak Mandarin Chinese. - Tip isn't forced, but you should tip anyway. - You pay for a massage first (card accepted with a charge of like 40 cents? Or might be tax) and the tip is paid after the massage (card also accepted but cash is preferred). - Stamp card for hour-long full-body massages. The lady at the front (assuming is the owner) is very polite and flexible in fact one of the best service I've received from these places. She respects the appointments. I walked in with two other ladies and one of them did not have an appointment and could not wait 15 minutes, so I let her take my spot and I waited 15 minutes. When she took me to my room she did inform me that my massage would be from a male; a lot of low-end places never say this when I forget to ask; I really appreciated the information. She said there were no more female and said I could leave my clothes on if that was better, and it was for me. The only thing was that I was in the room for a little over 5 minutes. No biggie. Initially, he did ask if the pressure was okay and it was fine, but it started hurting more later but it might just be me. The massage itself was the least painful one I've had (from low-end) and I actually feel better after it! This will be my new massage spot; although next time I would try a chair massage. After the massage, you walk back to the counter and your massage person will give you a cup of water and you tip them here. You can ask the lady in the front for change for tip or card if you would like. Prices: - 30-minute chair: $30 - 45-minute chair: $40 - 30-minute full body: $35 These prices are off the top of my head I don't remember exactly the price but they also offer 60 minute and 90-minute full-body massages I don't remember the price but I want to say it's $50-$55 for the 60-minute. With the hour-long full-body she will give you a stamp card and every time you get an hr full body you get a stamp up to ten stamps and then you get a free full body hr long massage. (I only heard this from the woman in front of me.) read more

At the first look is the shop a good choice to get a massage. The price looks okay. It is not too expensive. I had the feeling that only one person there could speed English. The employees speak barley English. In the middle of the massage, someone came ins and they talked in an another language. It wasn't that bad but kinda interrupting the relaxing vibe. At the end when I have to pay I was going to give her 15% tip but she didn't let me go until I paid 20%. I felt uncomfortable because she asked pretty unfriendly. I don't know if I go back. read more

I've been coming here for over two years and it's such a great value if you don't care for the frills and just want a straightforward massage. I see some reviews complaining about the staff demanding more tips. The massage therapists here don't earn a wage and rely on your tips for a living. That's why they are able to keep the base cost of your massage so low. So if you are someone who has the means to pay for 60+ min of hard labor, pls have the kindness to leave a damn $20 tip for your hardworking masseuse. read more

I really wanted to like this place however after my experience yesterday, not so sure. I've been to other massage places but it was my first time here. June the owner was really nice at first, and even got me a cup of water. The massage I got was okay. The things I didn't like was, there are people talking all the time while getting a massage so it's less relaxing and more distracting. Which wasn't the biggest deal. The website also said 90 mins was $85 but then June told me the price is $90 now, so maybe they should update that so it's not misleading. But I thought it was weird that we pay first. And then when I left my tip, you can tell the masseuse is just out there standing around to get their tip, I finally gave her her tip, and she didn't say thank you and looked at me as if I did her really wrong. The receptionist/owner then says "we tip 20% here" First, of all tips mean gratuity and isn't required anywhere ?? and continued to peer pressure me to give more, this is super unprofessional and uncomfortable. I understand they work hard but tips are gratuity, maybe you should start paying your workers more since 20% tip isn't a legal requirement. I should've known this was coming since other yelp reviews did say that they ask for more tip rudely, so that was on me. unfortunately I won't be coming back, since I came here to be stress relieved but left even angrier than I came, and I don't recommend others to go unless you want to get harassed for more tip. read more

The masseuses are wonderful, though mine was not very friendly. I would hope for a little kinder massage staff.

So I guess this is the foot massage place to go to in NorCal. At $30 + $10 tip /person, this is pretty cheap! You get an hour long standard massage that includes the foot, but also the whole body in general. Privacy isn't the best, there are curtained rooms, but there are often like two seats per curtained area. But at this price I guess not too much can be demanded. The massage itself isn't the best massage, as they seem to just go through a routine of actions, and aren't actually trying to target your tightest muscles. If you're looking for that you should probably go to a better place. But for the pricing here, this place is good and does fill that void if you just have general soreness, and not certain areas you really want to target. read more
