Great service. Good strong massage. Huge interior. Super convenient! Go early in case they close early during Covid-19.

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!

Once we paid and given key to lockers and 3 towels (1 large & 2 small), we locked up our shoes (only) in the lockers to the right of the front desk. Then headed inside to grab a pair of slippers from the shelves to the left (don't grab the ones in the basket on floor which are for used slippers). Then head upstairs to the locker rooms to change and store your things to the same numbered locker. Also, grab a pair of shorts from the shelves in there. The room with massage chairs is nice if you can find a good chair. The first massage chair I tried was perfect for my needs because I have neck and shoulder issues recently but the massage chair I have at home doesn't even reach my neck and only somewhat knead my shoulders and massages whole body. This chair (where the display controller is mounted on right and has a "neck & shoulder" function) was able to focus only on the neck and even up the back of head and down to the shoulder and shoulder blades areas only (pull out the padding behind the head area if you don't feel much happening). Some of the chairs did seem worn down and torn up but many were in good shape as well. Downstairs is the 3 Jade, Clay, and Salt rooms including an Ice room. No slippers inside rooms so place slippers on the shoe racks outside. Be extra careful going inside the clay room. There are handrails to help you get in and out because the clay balls are actually a few inches deep and very slippery and it's kind of like you're stepping into quicksand. My friends did the body scrub while I did the massage. I don't know if all masseuses massage the same way there but I did not know that the massage included being stepped on. I am a very petite gal and Gina was a bit bigger than me. It wasn't just stepping with one foot but with both! I don't know how much of her entire weight was on me because there were two ropes hanging for her to hold onto but I felt like I was being tortured during the 10-15 minute that she was on me. I can understand if the client is much bigger and so you need your full weight to get enough pressure, but I am only just around 100 lbs, petite, and asked for medium pressure and was still stepped on. After that massage, certain spots around my back and pelvis (boney spots) seemed as if they were bruised cause they hurt with even just touch. She handed me an envelope afterwards for tips. I still tipped her but I don't think I would get a massage there again due to that experience. Maybe if you are a bigger build or get a different masseuse you might enjoy it. Overall, her massage was not all that useful, or even if it was, the stepping on undid it by giving me a traumatic experience. But there were a few times I thought what she was doing didn't seem like it did anything. If I hadn't gotten the massage, I would have given 5 stars because the facility and front desk staff I encountered were great (I asked front desk about adding massage and she was very friendly and helpful and immediately was able to book the massage for the earliest opening a few hours later), but I had to take a star off just for my experience with that masseuse. Would go back to the spa to unwind and relax, but I will most likely not get massage there again.

I have had a few bad experiences. The spa is often busy and will give drop-ins unrealistic wait times rather than turn them away. Staff skill is inconsistent. I have had multiple occasions where staff have shorted my massage time, including an expensive one hour four-hands experience that was shorted by 20 minutes. I have also been turned away after already paying and undressing because they overbooked. I have never been offered an apology for any problems. You can avoid some problems by booking in advance and setting expectations with your masseuse.

Beware, the person that was giving me a massage told me to go to the place around the corner for an actual massage. Embarrassing and disgusting behavior. Constant interruptions, I paid for an hour massage I was checked out at 40 minutes. When I asked if everything ok was told to shut up. No towel to clean up, the person had long nails and I had just done cupping prior, I went home and had to cleanse my skin because they kept stabbing me with their nails after continuously asking them please not to. I am so disappointed.

This isn't a fancy place so if you're looking for something a bit more upscale or luxurious, I would skip this place. This place is however a good option if you're looking for a deal of a massage and want to treat yourself without spending too much (I suggest checking Groupon to see if this place is still offering any discounts). I called for an appointment mid-week and was able to get an appointment for the upcoming Sunday. The inside looks a bit better than the exterior. Pulling up to the parking kind of looks like you've pulled up to a small apartment complex for businesses and you'll find the spa upstairs from the small parking lot. I'd rate the massage itself about 3 stars. The masseuses were speaking to each other in another language at full speaking volume during the massage a couple of times. It gave me the similar feeling of when I go get my nails done and am insecure if something is being said about me (except usually I expect even less chatter during a massage compared to getting my nails done). Compared to other massage spas I've been to, there were no aromas for relaxation that I noticed, nor were there any special beverages offered before the massage. They do give you a small paper cup of water after the massage. Overall, if you're doing the Groupon deal then it's worth coming here, but if it's for full price, I'd consider other options. Also be prepared to bring cash for tip, and if you're doing the Groupon then they ask to tip off the full price instead of discounted price.

As soon as we came in, the atmosphere was peaceful and warm, and Sam T and Tracy further enhanced our experience with their great vibe. My mom is still raving about Sam T. She keeps telling me how comfortable she was and how much her body was improved after the session. She was so crazy about it that she went ahead and booked her boyfriend a session with Sam T right after we left, which is basically the proof. Speaking of my session, I was with Tracy, and she blew me away. She gave me the attention I needed and mainly worked on the parts of my body where I usually have the most stress. The thing I liked the most was her depth of knowledge. She didn't just target those areas but also told me what she was observing and indicated to me what might need more work in the future. The whole thing was very much a one-to-one treatment, and it seemed like she really wanted to help me improve not just for the time being but long-term as well. They both, in a way, almost made us forget about time and totally immerse ourselves in the moment. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.

What was more frustrating was that my treatment ended up being only about 60 minutes instead of the 90 minutes I expected. I was told this was due to an additional service included in my package, but that wasn't clearly explained beforehand. There were also several issues with the package benefits. Lunch was supposed to be included but was never provided, and I had to remind staff about the $50 credit that was also part of the package. Having to repeatedly ask for amenities that were already paid for took away from the experience. The highlight of the visit was the facial. The esthetician was wonderful, and it was honestly the most relaxing part of the day--I nearly fell asleep during the treatment. Unfortunately, between the shortened massage time, missing package inclusions, and having to advocate for benefits that should have been automatically honored, I didn't feel I received the value I paid for. I hope management improves communication and package fulfillment for future guests.
