It's not easy to find someone who really knows the body well, down to the level of nerves, tendon, and ligaments. Bill knows how all of these parts relate to each other, and manifest in pain symptoms when one or more of them are knotted causing blocking of energy flow, and therefore pain. His massage is therapeutic. The physical space is not going to be your ideal message experience, and you have to look past all of the outer environment. I had tension in the entire body due to workout and life stress, so wanted a deep tissue/sport massage. Bill is a PRO! Best massage therapist, he knows what he's doing. He understands the muscles/joints anatomy, and works through the body holistically, focuses on problem areas and beyond. He also found hidden tight areas which I didn't realize myself. My body felt lighter and aligned after the massage. I did the 1 hr session and appreciated that he worked a little longer on me, it shows that he cares about client's health. Amazing!!! Went for an injured shoulder and had significant improvement after only 1 session. Bill really is a healer. Highly recommend this place! I found it on Yelp, and decided to book a massage based on the great reviews. This was my first experience getting a Thai Massage. I generally do not tolerate deep tissue massages, but was ready to try something different to help alleviate my aching lower back and just an overall tight and aching body. I really wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but based on the reviewers they said it was a combination of Thai massage, some deep tissue here and there and some stretching. I would not call it a relaxing massage, but one aimed at helping to relieve aches and pains. The massage takes place in a Chinese herbal medicine shop in a back room. Not your typical spa type atmosphere, no calming music. But the room and table were perfectly fine, the room and table were heated. You are fully clothed during the massage. I arrived in my leggings and a tank top, and was given the option to change into the loose pants he provided. Bill, was very attentive to what I said I needed and the problem areas I was having. He found a lot of knots and tightness in so many parts of my body, and helped to loosen them. Not just my back, but my feet, ankles, calves, hamstrings, IT, upper and lower back, shoulders. At times during stretching, I felt some "cracking" in different parts of my body - which felt great. Most of the massage and pressure was tolerable for me (I am a lightweight and cannot tolerate much!) but toward the end it was a little painful and uncomfortable in my IT bands - that definitely were very sensitive. However, immediately after the massage, my body felt like it was much looser and more flexible. My back pain was almost gone and I felt so much better. My leg was little sore for a few hours afterwards, but by evening did not notice anymore. I little pricey, but well worth it and really pleased with this very therapeutic massage. Thank you Bill! I aggravated my knee and strained the IT band a week prior and flew from FL to the bay area for a wedding. Had limited time, read some very good reviews on Yelp and booked an appointment a couple hours after calling. His massage room is in the back of an asian beauty salon. I explained my injury and for the next 90 minutes he worked out every single kink out of my body. I've probably have gotten 500+ massages in my life, this was prob top 5. Be prepared for very deep trigger point pressure, but succumb to that pain and discomfort because you will feel tremendous relief later and especially the following day. LeeLaWaDee is being run by a disrespectful small man out of the Spoil Me Salon. They made an appointment time for me. Before the appointment, I took a shower with a lot of soap. I was happy to at least get any appointment for massage during coronavirus lockdown. On the day of the appointment, I called to say "10 min late". No answer. Left a message "I'm 10 min late. Please text me if it's an issue." I came there 11 minutes late. Nobody there. No SMS. Waited for 17 minutes. Then, a small, unkempt man in a green shirt came late and said "why you late?" "I say new customer be on time. You late." I'd seen this man as I approached the shop. He had passed me as I went to sit in front. He had apparently left the shop as I got there, didn't text me and didn't call. The man then left in anger. If you don't want to give massage, don't make an appointment. Tonight I went in for my third session with Bill and I'm compelled to tell the world about his healing powers. Bill isn't just a masseuse in the regular term, he's a healer. My first session with him was extremely painful because I was overdue for a massage, I won't lie it was the longest 95min massage of my life. He focused on my left shoulder and spent the entire time opening that area up. 3 weeks later, I went back again and my left shoulder was much better so he was able to do a full body massage with stretching. He taught me that my neck and shoulder pains were due to my arms and he was right -- he gets to the little crevices behind your arm that no masseuse has ever touched before and ouch, but so effective in making everything feel better. This weekend I was carrying my daughter all weekend so I had to go back to him as I was in pain again. I thought it was my neck and shoulders but he felt everything and immediately figured that it's my arm. He massaged my arm and the knot in my shoulder opened up by itself. It was magic! He took the time to get every kink out and the areas that used to hurt sooo much now don't feel like anything at all! It means his massages are working and those areas aren't problem areas anymore. As most people have mentioned, Bill is a very trustworthy and honest guy. Sometimes with male masseuses I've had to worry about "butt massages" and such but with Bill he's like your kind uncle who only wants to make sure you get better. 5+ stars for Bill!! PS: don't mind the location, I much prefer this than fancy 5 star hotel massages that focus on relaxation than actual therapy/healing. read more

I was looking for a real massage where someone can take my knots out so I can be sore for days... ok not sore for days, but I don't mind it as long as my knots are out. The stretching while being massage was so relaxing. At four weeks post-partum, this was one of the first times I got away from the baby for some selfish me-time, and it was incredible! I had so many stiff parts from looking down at the baby while breastfeeding, bending over to change diapers, and other new-mom related tightness. Okay, level set your expectations - if you want the pampering, zen garden ambiance, this is not for you. However, if you want a SOLID massage from an experienced therapist, and you're more about the function, this is definitely the place for you. Especially for $80 for an hour, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care and service. Bill has a super gentle demeanor and you can tell he has a lot of experience. It seems a lot of people came here with groupons or living social deals, but I felt it was worth the full price, as well. He explained what he was doing as he went and recommended lifestyle changes I could make to reduce the tension in my shoulders and neck. I was also amazed he could tell exactly what my posture was (I lean to the right when I'm sitting at my desk), how I look down (at my laptop) a lot, and that I sleep on my side. It's really amazing! He'll customize the pressure level based on what you can take. I'm a little sore this morning from having all the knots worked out but my shoulders and neck feel a lot more limber. I had a livingsocial deal for I think 90 minutes. What others people say is true: It in a salon called Spoil Me. You just tell the receptionist that you are here for Leelawadee. Bil makes you sign in sheet, to tell him where you want to work on. If you want deep/mediulm/ soft pressure and what are you looking for: relaxing or treatment?...(don't remember the phrase exactly) The room is clean. It's wooden floor. I didn't see any dust. It was my first time for a Thai massage so let me tell you what it's like: There's a full size mattress. You get undressed and gown up with the clothes he gives you. And for my deal, it included the parafin foot wrap. Pretty cool, it's nice and hot and mine was kept on the entire time of the massage until we were done. Next he has you lie down and he worked on acupressure points. It was nice, something different from your ordinary massages. I have a lot of migraines and Bill found part of my "trigger/ soft" points. And boy did it hurt...painful but it was worth it as everyone says. So onto the stretches: a lot was opening up my chest, working on my back/ spine. Bill was really good in that he knew my physiological barriers, and did not go beyond that. He knew when I hit my limit and just stretched me, making sure not to pull me too hard. He does ask if the pressure is too much and to let him know. I knew it was going to be uncomfortable but good for me. Overall, I think it was a great thai massage, very professional. Really great massage. No question, Bill is one of the best out there. Customer service, however, is lacking. Scheduling the appointment was more hassle than necessary. We reschedule multiple times, and at the end landed on a time that was not convenient for me. I experienced lots of stress trying to redeem my voucher. Mind-blowing. I'll give you an example - I've had recurrent 'golfer's elbow' for the past couple years. I had a painful twisted knee with an X Ray showing 2 popped tendons - OUCH! I had problems walking down stairs and walking almost anywhere. I was hesitant as my luck with massage therapists was not great. Don't let the humble massage room in a beauty shop deter you: Give "Bill" a chance you won't regret! Bill provides really deep tissue massage for those twisted muscles. He says some people actually scream in the process - I confess to tears rolling down my cheeks. He had personal knowledge of most of my problems and gladly shared all kinds of health tips. After about 3 sessions I noticed a significant difference: I no longer had to hold onto the rails when descending stairs, my walking was much steadier, I no longer had to place a pillow under my knee while I slept. I also had a hiatal hernia wherein the top of my stomach distended into my esophagus causing difficulty in swallowing. Bill said that the entire body was connected. Amazingly enough, work on my legs would extend to resolve the hiatal hernia. I must confess that I was skeptical since an endoscopy revealed nothing - even as I knew something was there. While some of the hiatal hernia still exists, I get the pain only occasionally. In the last two weeks I experienced only two painful episodes. This is wonderful! I just had my second massage with Bill today and it was great! He noticed how tense i was from sitting at my desk all day had great tips about what I could do during the day so my body doesn't get so tense or bent out of shape. I had been standing for 4 hour the night before in heels (to see Prince in concert, no regrets!) so my feet were killing me! Bill could tell right away how tense my legs were (also from running and never stretching, oops!) and now they finally feel better!
