Booked a session last minute for my husband and I for the first time since we weren't able to find an appointment for other places that we visited before, and I think we've found a new favorite! Both of our massage therapists were able to target our knots and tense muscles with a good amount of pressure (more like accupressure than a standard massage), and while it's not a session we would be able to nap through, we felt so much better after. Definitely check out their services if you're in the area! read more

Amazing massage! Everyone working there is super sweet. I got the one hour SW/DT massage and it was perfect! My body has been super tight and I've had a lot of lower back pain, and I felt better immediately after the massage. Definitely will be coming back! read more

The massages are good. The front desk gave out tipping 'guidance', we were cued that our 22% were inadequate. The expectation was 30-35% which we felt pressured and gave. While we enjoyed the massages, the total ticketed price becomes a luxury expense one can only afford once in a blue moon. For the owners reading this: tipping is a gratitude for service well done, and given at tipper's discretion, it is not required, and shouldn't be treated as entitlement 'tax' on service. The blatant expectation will keep those looking for service cold feet. Drop the tipping sign. Don't try to make it up on the back end with a militant tipping expectation. It more honest to just raise the price of the massage, and let patrons decide if your service deserves the gratuity. read more

I have been getting massages a few times a year for the past 10 years, and Kelly's is far away the best place I have ever been to. The rooms are relaxing and serene, and the massage bed is so warm and comfortable that I almost fall asleep before the massage even starts. The front desk is always so friendly and helpful, and we really appreciate bottled water on the way out. I have had massages with 4-5 different therapists there and each one has been well worth the price. My girlfriend and I go for couples massages, but I also love going for solo massages, and the professionalism and care given by Kelly's is unmatched. I decided this past weekend to pay a little bit more and book a massage with Kelly herself and OMG it was the best massage of my entire life. I didn't even realize how tight my body was, but she did such an incredible job, that I'm going back again this week to see her again. Not only is Kelly's the best massage therapist in the area, but their prices are unbeatable! read more

My boyfriend and I only go here for massages! Kelly's is so professional, clean, and absolutely relaxing and perfect for both deep tissue and gentle massages. We always leave feeling so refreshed . Never coming back here again. I talked my fiancé into getting a massage with me on a Tuesday night. He never gets massages so I wanted to treat him. They have a $65 special for an hour. The massage was alright, I've had better. The real reason I'm not coming back is because the masseuse, Betty, was unsatisfied with my tip. They have a sign suggesting to tip 30-40% but I just don't have the means to tip that much. The tip culture here is crazy. read more

Came by for a massage the other day and it was a phenomenal experience. Made an appointment online and my therapist was available at the scheduled time. The massage parlor has plenty of parking in the strip mall. Inside the massage parlor, it was spotless and modern with high quality furnishings. The room was quiet and tranquil with relaxing music in the background. The therapist was very strong and used lotion during the session. Started off with the back, shoulder, and moved on to the arms and legs. The last portion of the massage was the shoulder arm and legs. $75/hour for a massage with $5 discount for paying cash, $5 discount for booking online + gratuity. read more

Took a chance on booking a last minute massage for a colleague, and myself & we couldn't have been happier! After a bit of yelping around I called in and spoke with Hubert in reception, it was an absolute pleasure... Upbeat, friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible! Of course by the time I secured my plan and had phoned back to confirm things had changed, which was understandable, but they managed to squeeze us both in together a couple hours later on in the afternoon! We were promptly greeted and led to a clean, pleasant, & spacious room without a paperwork requirements payment increase, or membership mumbo-jumbo! We just jumped on the table and started pointing out our trouble spots! Our styles of preferred massage techniques were very different This is where Mia and Betty got to shine as they were were both sure to clarify our needs were being met by checking in periodically and or early just generally in tune which provided us with an excellent service and it is made crystal clear that the benefits of routine massage are paramount! The place was clean, tastefully decorated, and all the staff we encountered were professional, knowledgeable, and kind! Based on the price point, there is zero reason for anybody not to schedule regular treatments! Now, when it came down to check out, Hubert was ever so graceful to mention customary tipping percentage without being awkward or even suggestive .... just a gentle reminder that the therapists are professional, work hard, and and are employed by a company that Roy respects them. We all know it's a beautiful thing when you can get a really fair price for your service but does not automatically make you feel like you need to skimp on the gratuity to make you feel like you're still getting a good deal. Rather he was able to put it so eloquently that it's a win-win win situation for the clients, technicians and the business! What type of employee does not want to feel valued and paid accordingly? What kind of client doesn't want to feel like they're getting a fair deal, and what type of business is smart enough to recognize that choosing a reasonable price point for their service promotes immeasurable benefits for all? Keep up the good work Kelly's Healing Massage As we will definitely both be back and spread the word! PS thanks for the thoughtful VIP parking option! read more

Be careful with the new massage of stepping on you're back. I went there last Tuesday for a massage and ended up dislocating my left shoulder. I didn't realize I got hurt till the day after. Had to see an acupuncturist to fix it. I didn't ask for the name of the massesuse, which was my mistake. But don't want anyone else to risk it. She claimed to do it just to loosen the tight muscles, but I don't think she knows what she's doing. read more

Forced tipping and setting the dollar amount is unheard of. Love to tip for a good service but borderline rude.

I have been coming to this massage therapy center, for over 6 months now. I typically revisit a place if the first massage is good. If after the second and third massage by different therapists are good, then I know that the owners are training or choosing their therapists wisely. This is the case at Kelly's Healing Massage. I am a massage therapist myself and each time that I have received bodywork from therapists here, I absolutely receive what I need. It is very important to communicate with your therapist the areas of focus, and it's especially important to let them know if you need less or more pressure at any moment. However, the most important aspect of massage is to understand that accumulated tension doesn't go away in one session, and this is precisely why I book at the least once a month. Going back to my statement regarding me always receiving the bodywork that I need, I wholeheartedly mean this. Every single time, I have been able to fully relax and even fall asleep during my massage, only to wake up and be SUPER relaxed and less tense. This has been possible for me because I communicate if I need more or less pressure in particular areas I acquire more tension, like around the scapulas and trapezius muscles. I absolutely recommend regular massage therapy at Kelly's Healing Massage. It's always best to call ahead to see if they have an appointment available that same day. Sometimes they are available sometimes not, considering it's on a very busy street surrounded by many tech companies... also, make sure you tip WELL, massage therapy IS LABOR read more

Kelly's was recommended to me by a friend who would go here pre-COV. I was a little hesitant about Kelly's at first because my masseuse did not ask about pressure or focus areas, but my worries were quickly pushed aside when she proved she was no amateur. She spent a tremendous amount of time on my shoulders (desk job), lower back (was on a flight the day before) and right shoulder (recovering from a shoulder injury) and really knew how to get the tightness and knots out. The 90 minutes flew by and I was in a relaxed zen state for the rest of the day. My bf also loved his massage and we both agreed that Kelly's is our new go-to massage place. read more

Unfortunately I have to give a one star for my experience here. It was a while ago but remains in my mind due to the poor treatment received. I generally get monthly massages due to body tension and have tried quite a few places around the Bay Area and beyond. This was my worst experience (and I've encountered many poor massages as a young woman). The receptionist was unkind; I asked a few clarifying questions beforehand and he made me feel absolutely stupid based on his tone and words. I brushed it off and continued to the room. The massage "therapist" was pretty rough and asymmetrical with her pressure and technique for the foot reflexology portion. The worst part was when she demanded that I take off my clothes, there was no door only a thin cloth covering and fully lit room. I declined multiple times before she started tugging at my clothing. Eventually I relented (I'm no stranger to massages, sometimes I like to keep clothed other times not). The whole experience was just bizarre; no technique, just random rubbing and poking all over. Enter at your own risk. read more

Amazing massage I got from Betty. I got the aromatherapy massage. It was my first time there and she made sure I was comfortable and checked on me to make sure she was applying the right pressure. I finished my session feeling light and so relaxed. Will be returning soon! read more

Came here for a massage last week with my husband for the first time. My only complaints were the walls were thin I could hear the next door gentleman talking to his masseuse and I prefer a quiet massage When I walked into the massage room she pushed me and said "hurry up" and I found that was very upsetting to me I felt the masseuse was talking a lot and telling me her problems but then she was quiet after ten minutes so that was good I just prefer quiet Also when I showed up she tried to convince me to have a male massage me and she said it four times. It was tiring. I was disappointed the massage was only on the back side they did not do the front of the body only over the sheet which felt like the massage at the "foot massage" places so that was the only downside When I came out to pay she was hassling a woman to give her more tips and shamed her for not paying cash. I feel that as a business person it is better to make a polite request not shame or push or coerce a person to do anything. I went from being in massage mode and wanting to relax to feeling ashamed. I hope this helps them work out things so they can be even better. if I lived in the area I might try again, but sadly, had to fly home to NYC! read more

Love this place! I have neck and shoulder pain so I go here often. They have very reasonable price and are open until late. They also accept FSA as well. Highly recommend! read more

Massage was okay, but the front desk is extremely aggressive about insisting tips be done in cash only even if you are paying by card. Front desk lady literally insisted on it and waited for me to go back to my car to get my other wallet that had cash before I could go in for my massage. Then at the end (it was near closing so the front desk lady had left already), the massage therapist herself waited for me to hand her the cash tip and counted it out in front of me and was visibly disappointed that it was "not enough" of a tip. If this establishment has to insist on this kind of policy and at the same time try to lure you in with price specials, it is clear they are not paying the therapists enough and are not charging the amount they should for services. I will not return. read more

I get a lot of massages because I spent years lifting weights and competing in bodybuilding competitions.. and wow KELLY has amazing technique!! I've done it all, deep tissue, Thai, hot stone etc and Kelly has a way of targeting the muscle and really breaking it down and then switches into a smoothing massage to relax it. I appreciate that she asked where I wanted to focus and she started there first so that she didn't run out of time. Often times I have to repeat myself and ask for more pressure with other massage therapists. With Kelly I told her upfront that I liked medium-hard pressure and if it's too much I'm let her know and she never let off the whole massage! She could also tell by my breathing and body language when it would really hurt and would check in! I live in Hayward but I'm definitely gonna make the drive to Sunnyvale to see her regularly now! *They take card but prefer cash tip!* Everything was clean and relaxing! They have heat lamps in the rooms and super comfy beds as well! Thank you Kelly + husband (who works the front). I'll be back! read more

Kelly's Healing Massage - New SUNNYVALE location - Massage Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

I just went to Kelly's Healing Massage in their new location in Sunnyvale. OMG it was amazing. My back hurt yesterday from carrying around my heavy toddler. This was not a gentle massage. The lady knew what she was doing and it was so easy to schedule on Yelp. I got the time I wanted and it was pretty empty when I went. I didn't even have to fill out an intake form, just straight back to the private room and you undress to your underwear. Also, the SV location has easy parking, unlike MV. Best yet, they have a new opening special of only $60 for an hour! They even have those bars at the top of the room in case you want a massage where they walk on you. I haven't ever done that.. ha.. I've had a ton of massages and this was just excellent. read more

Kelly's Healing Massage - Are you bold enough to be stepped on? - Massage Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

Kelly is truly amazing! She is very professional, intuitive, communicative, and is obviously an expert. Recently, I've had other massages in Miami, NYC, SF, and Sunnyvale -- And Kelly gave the best massage by far. I've been suffering from neck tension and headaches, and I was extremely impressed right away at the questions she asked and her technique. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a massage that will provide healing and pain relief. I saw some negative comments about tip or phone service, but I find those quite saddening to see on here - For $75 / 1 hour, this is an incredible deal, and a minor inconvenience doesn't seem like it should constitute a negative review. Long story short - Kelly is a treasure! read more

This place is a gem. Kelly's Healing Massage offers a professional, soothing, and caring environment where they provide quality and reasonably-priced massage services. I have gone to another place for massage that I would classify as a luxury spa. However, I can only afford to go when I receive gift cards for special occasions. I am happy that Kelly's offers more affordable rates so I can treat myself on a regular basis. My sore muscles (both from working out and work-related tension) sure appreciate the more frequent massages. read more

Great massages, very clean, reasonably priced! I go to Kellys healing massage quite often. I have an active lifestyle and I like to go here to relax my muscles, to prevent injuries from over exertion. They have some really good masseuse. Some of the ones I recommend are: Cindy, Amy, Kelly, Patrick and Steve. I am sure there might be more, but they are the ones I usually get my massages from. Note: they do not have a form to ask for your preferences. You can tell the masseuse directly if you want them to focus on a specific area more or change the pressure. Also, they don't focus much on pec muscles, other than that they target almost all the muscles of your body. read more

Today was the second massage I've had from Kelly's Healing Massage. I brought my mother for Mother's Day she had Tina and she did not do a good massage for my mother she kept looking at time and did not know how to massage she did 1/2 of my moms body then not the other half. When my mom asked her to do her feet and she questioned that. I paid for a 90 minute aroma therapy massage full body for my mom! She should have been satisfied but was not. My massage was Okay my masseuse was Kelly. I would give three stars for her but her husband definitely put a bad taste in my mouth When paying Kelly's husband (he's the receptionist) as I gave my payment and tip, Kelly's husband was pretty aggressive with the tip giving. He asked who the tip was because it wasn't at his standards. I think that's super rude and unprofessional and they definitely lost a customer however Kelly is very friendly.. read more

Kelly's Healing Massage - Store front - Massage Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

My experience started off decently enough. I arrived a few minutes early and was warmly greeted by the receptionist. He was very friendly, hospitable, and engaging and invited me to take a seat. His welcoming demeanor made what followed even more jarring. After a few minutes, another customer entered who had the same appointment time as I did. Despite arriving before her, she was shown into her room first. I'm sure the receptionist noticed my annoyance. He was sure to immediately show me to my room...after showing the customer who entered after me her room first, unfortunately. I strongly suspect unconscious bias played a part in this early microaggression. However, like most slights of this nature, I have no evidence of the motive. But that's the thing about microaggressions--there is no conscious motive. I am confident that the receptionist DID NOT act maliciously. With microaggressions, there is usually no animosity or intent to hurt or harm. It's purely unconscious preferences that play out in social situations that are glaringly obvious only to those who have been slighted. The customer who entered after me was East Asian. I am Southeast Asian--Filipino to be exact. I am frequently mistaken as Latina by both my fellow Asians and Latinos, however. In my almost 10 years of living in the Bay Area, I have witnessed and experienced how both the East and South Asians as well as White people here treat Latinos and Filipinos like second-rate human beings. Maybe the Latinos and Filipinos here are accustomed to such discriminatory treatment. I was raised in Los Angeles--Glendale, specifically--so I'm not accustomed to such treatment (with the exception of my White teachers during my limited time in public school). It's just as jarring and painful whenever I experience it after nearly a decade in the Bay as it was when I first moved here. After being shown into my room at 8pm, which was my appointment time, I waited 10 minutes for my masseuse to enter. The massage started off poorly. It felt very asymmetrical. I'm sure my masseuse was tired; I was, too. It was the end of the day. However, the money I paid for my massage is worth the same as the money paid by customers who arrived earlier in the day before he was probably worn out and tired. By the middle of the massage, the quality had improved tremendously, but it still left a lot to be desired. I also didn't get a full hour. I checked the time immediately after he entered and immediately after he told me the massage was over. I really only got a 55 minute massage. I don't know what I was expecting, though. I thought I was going to be charged $75, but it ended up only costing $60. I've had massages that cost twice and three times that much. Yes, the massage I received here was only half as good as the massages I've paid for that were twice the cost. So maybe I got what I paid for. Despite the lackluster experience, I tipped $20, which is 30%. It's not that much, and despite the mediocre massage, bodywork is hard work and times are tough. I think my masseuse tried his best...or at least I hope he did. I always tip well despite being treated poorly. I don't know if it's wise, and I'm not entirely sure why I do it. I would hate for anyone to justify their substandard treatment of me using a poor tip, I guess. I suppose I'd rather tip well and then publicly air my grievances In the future, I think I'll stick to my usual spots--Harmony Bay Reflexology and Sawadee Thai Massage. I had a bad day, though, and my usual spots aren't open as late as Kelly's. You get what you pay for, I guess. This experience just made me sad--sadder than I already was going into my appointment. I'm an American. I have increasingly and continually grown so disappointed by America--so much so that my identity as a Californian takes precedence before my identity as an American. My negative experience at Kelly's was very, very, very mild, but it reminded me that I've never been treated so poorly in my life as I have been treated in the Bay Area--it's like a slow death by a billion papercuts--and I'm not sure what to do about it besides allow myself to be sad and write honestly about my disappointing experiences. read more

I ALWAYS get taken care of every time I come to Kelly's Healing Massage. Each time I book, the masseuse does a phenomenal job and I leave feeling super relaxed and taken care of. They will ask you if the pressure is too much or too light so you can be in control of the intensity level you're comfortable with. The rooms are dark, private, and have relaxing music so you can really unwind and be present. One thing I also love is that you can ask for an extra face pillow for optimal positioning of the body if the opening on the table is too low or uncomfortable for you. The owner and his wife are so very kind and accommodating each time I visit. I also love receiving their text messages every few months, as friendly reminders that it's time to treat yourself to a massage! I'll definitely be coming back soon. read more

I'm SHOCKED, REVOLTED, and in utter disbelief. If I could give negative stars, I would. Extremely disappointing, " extremely unprofessional. I'm a recurring client of Kelly's healing massage in Mountain View, and have been doing deep tissue massages for over 4 years, at various massage places in the Bay Area. Today, at the Sunnyvale branch, the masseuse (Anna) did everything wrong that can possibly be done. She started the massage, with NO warm up. She immediately began ELBOWING me in my BONES near my shoulder and neck extremely hard. It was excruciating. I was going to cry within the first FIVE minutes. I know what a deep tissue massage feels like. This is NOT a deep tissue massage. So, I politely asked her to move her elbow OFF my BONES, or to at least go a bit softer, so I can tolerate it in silence. Asking the masseuse to adjust the "level" of your massage: soft, medium, or strong is absolutely normal. In fact, it is mandatory for the masseuse to ask about and adjust to your comfort level. It is in their training. I also made sure to be extremely polite and courteous. I said "please, thank you, I'm sorry, thank you SO much"over ten times. But guess what she did. She told me, within the first FIVE minutes of my massage: "I think you should find another masseuse" and walked out of the room, and left me on the table. Then, a MAN (the owner) walked in on me while I was ON the massage table!! Then, while I was getting dressed to leave, other people started knocking on my door, and started negotiating the price, and maybe giving me other sessions. I said "no thank you." When I walked out of the room, the owner seemed apathetic to my experience. He told me "if you can't handle massage, don't do it." I told him that I've been a client of Kelly's healing massage for a year and have worked with over 3 of their other service providers. He didn't believe me, until I SHOWED him ALL of my receipts and payments to them from the past year. He was still, not sufficiently apologetic.. I came in as a recurring client, for a relaxing experience, and was put through unnecessary physical pain, stress, disrespect, humiliation, and an overall disgusting experience. I am truly, in disbelief. I feel sick. Do NOT go here. read more

I recently visited Kelly's Healing at Sunnyvale and requested that Kelly did my SW/DT massage. I have been having a ongoing shoulder pain due to an injury, and even been going for physio therapy for it. But the experience with Kelly has been truly amazing!! My arm felt amazing and she seemed to be able to really loosen it. While the massage itself hurt a bit (honestly no complains...) the relaxation I felt post the massage as well as my shoulder ache completely disappearing after (it's been 3 days now) definitely warrants this 5 star rating. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this place especially if you are dealing with an injury or knots that need special attention.. Thanks Kelly!!! read more

After hearing about their new location in Sunnyvale, I decided to check it out. It was great to see that the location had more space and up to eight rooms; One of them is a couple's room. For this session, I called and booked an appointment a day ahead. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by Hubert and Kelly, waited a few minutes in the lobby, then received a 60-minute massage from Kelly who was able to find all the knots in my neck and shoulders. Overall, it was a great experience and I will continue to return for the excellent hospitality and service. read more

Unfortunately after our second visit, I have to update the review. We noticed that the front desk clerk charged different customers different price for the same service. During the second visit, my partner was standing in line to pay his massage, and the person before him was charged $65 (same price we were charged last time) and it was my partners turn, he was charged $70 for literally no reason, it was the most basic Swedish massage and he was paying with venmo. Surprisingly, he was pressured several times to leave a high tip - he was encouraged to leave 20% and felt pressured and uncomfortable after the massage. the massage was just ok, probably even below average this time (it was the same for me). My partner came back home upset saying "I'm never going back to that place, very sketchy and unprofessional to charge different prices and pressure customers to leave higher tip" I was very surprised by this because I had a good experience the first time with Anna but very turned off by the fact that the front desk was 1) charging different customers different prices for no reason - that's so not ok and so not professional and 2) pressuring customers to leave higher tip (the large printout encouraging customers to leave 20-25% tip is big enough to not be ignored, additional pressure is simply unnecessary). It's a pity, I thought I had found my new massage spot but definitely taken aback by this experience and lack of professionalism. There are plenty of better massage places that charge similar pricing ($80-$90) like Elements massage that are amazing, professional, reliable, and offer elevated spa-like experiences unlike Kelly's which while clean, is still mom and pop shop in a questionable location. read more

Update: In response to the comment from the owner: Stop making up things. No one is arguing with the fact that not showing up for scheduled appointments without a call is an acceptable thing. The problem here is you went all scripture on someone who hasnt had any no show appts. And mind you, even in this scenario we were trying to fill in your already cancelled appointment (emphasis: we booked our appt literally 20 mins before the scheduled slot!). So before you spew your bs, make sure you get your facts right. Extremely unprofessional lady on the phone, giving my wife a long moral lecture on being a good person, because we forgot to call to cancel the appointment. And here is the kicker, we called to make that appointment literally 20 minutes earlier. This was a last minute appointment we found because they had a prior cancellation or something. Unfortunately we got into some issues right around then and was not gonna make it in time. Its our fault we didnt call them right away to cancel the appointment (we were in the middle of a serious issue). But this woman (whoever the hell she is) does not have the right to give a moral lecture to a customer because they forgot to cancel a last minute appointment. If they have issues with no show cancellation then require a freaking credit card to make an appointment. It wasnt like we made the appointment a day or a week before, and took away spot from other potential clients.....NO, we made that appointment literally 20 minutes before the slot, and only because they prolly had a opening from an earlier cancellation. They were trying to take their frustration out on my wife and be all preachy at us coz we seemed like quiet brown people? No, go take your personal issues somewhere else lady. read more

Highly recommend. I've been here twice now and had fantastic experiences both times - I've been able to get a same day appoint and both the masseuse (Steven) and the receptionist (Hubert) are super friendly and great. I usually go to the Mountain View location and love it there. So I figured I would give this location a shot since it's closer to my home and weekly errands. The couple are sweet and friendly. That helped ease into my session nicely. I typically request for deep tissue, and will insist on the technician to go harder and not be shy with their elbows in my knots. So be warned that these ladies are strong and don't play! If you like deep, but not too deep that is painful, make sure you clearly say medium deep or medium pressure. They were good here and I will definitely come back for regular treatments. read more
