I went to Juliet for the first time over the weekend. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the offensive music being played. Unedited hip hop was being played throughout. I couldn't believe it. I made mention of it to the person that checked us in and he made no comments. I love hip hop, but I don't want to hear it when I'm at a restaurant to eat. They charge $20 to valet and I said no then the said $10. The restaurant next door with the same parking lot has complimentary valet. We were able to sit at the bar without a reservation . It was HRW and they had a 3 course menu for $50. Drinks are $17-$20 and they charge auto frat 20% so all in I spent just over $100 just for myself . The app I got was the crispy shrimp and it was a hefty portion and tasty. Filet was a bit dry but sides were good. Dessert was yummy. Bartender had pretty good service. The flower wall is... in the bathroom. Very weird. I made a reservation for a party of 3 for February 6th @845pm that monday or tuesday i'm not sure but I made it early that week to ensure i'd have a table. We get there 5 minutes late due to trying to get valet parking outside but I called the restaurant to tell them we have arrived just trying to get parked and the said no problem we will check you in and notify when table is ready. Once we walk in I told them my reservation time and who I was and they let me know that they were waiting for party's to get up for us to be seated and if we wanted to wait at bar then we could. Me and my friends grabbed a drink at the bar, bartender just put menus in our faces no introduction and seemed like she either didn't want to work there or didn't want to serve us. Other than that drinks were great. We saw other people come in after us to wait at the bar as well to get a table ( i'm not sure if they had reservations or not) but three or four tables were cleared and the party's that came in after us got seated first after we had been waiting longer than they have. There was one booth left open so I asked a host when would we be seated next and she said " we're just waiting for a red booth to open then we will seat you " and I asked and pointed to the one that was clearly open and ready and she said they were waiting for another party. It was a big group and we're only 3 people so i was like okay maybe they need it for a bigger party. A group of three people came and sat at the bar waiting for a table as well mind you we got there 8:50pm now it's already 9:40 at this point and that party of 3 got sat BEFORE us and we'd been waiting for basically an hour. I went up to hostess and asked to be sat that the high top table that was being cleaned cause I didn't care were we sat. Finally got sat ONE HOUR before they close. Server was great food was good. I went on Sunday 9/14 and tried the girl dinner special and it was mid. I was disappointed by my experience ! I paid 20 dollar and had to valet cause it was no parking in the parking lot. I then had a reservation for 8 to get there and they tell me I'll have to wait for my table EVEN THOUGH I MADE A RESERVATION so I needed up having to sit at the bar ! Now paying to park That was expected but then My food was cold and sloppily plated. And it didn't come with the oysters like they advertised , instead I was given a peice of shrimp cut into five pieces with a sweet sauce and they didn't even let me know before bringing it out. I spent 50 (as I ordered a glass of champagne) and left hungry and could barely get my car because it was so much ruckus in the parking lot due to a YouTuber showing up and trying to stream! I believe my food was old. Another girl came and got the special and her food was hot and was plated more neatly so idk if it was just my order or what. It was a 3/10 experience ! I had a wonder time time here for my moms birthday. The host, Alex, was probably one of the best waiters we have ever had! He was extremely knowledgeable about everything and gave suggestions frequently. He was also extremely accommodating and fast from staff to finish. The food was great as well. Please do yourself the favor and get the rib eye and honey truffle chicken! The sides we got were potatoes and garlic broccolini and they were so so good. The firecracker shrimp was tasty also!! We did get the blackened shrimp rice that was not good so just heads up with that. Checked out this new Houston hotspot on a Saturday evening for dinner! I surprisingly found a same-day reservation for two! Let's get into the details: Parking: seems to be valet only. I didn't explore to see if there were other options but valet was $10 for regular or $20 VIP. I opted for regular, figured I'm going to eat dinner and not to a nightclub. The restaurant has a movie theater theme! It's almost like you're going to a show and I think it's makes you excited for your dining experience. Upon entering, you smell popcorn and it's a true movie concession stand with candy and of course--popcorn. We were seated toward the back of the restaurant and iconic scenes from popular 90's movies line the wall. Dim lighting. Tables were a little tight for my liking but not too crazy. Dante was our server and he was awesome. The pear sidecar was delicious--I ordered two. The spinach salad was also tasty and it's a nice portion to split between two people. We ordered the red snapper and scallop and black truffle gnocchi. Delicious! Food was spectacular. Nice portions, not too big or too small. Upon exiting, we got popcorn and some of the old school candy. That was $10 for a small box of popcorn and candy. I took a star off for the price of the candy and the valet. I visited this place last night for a late Valentines dinner after seeing it on Instagram. This place is so cute! Its a hidden restaurant/bar made to look like a movie theater. I seriously loved this concept and its even cooler when you are there in person! I am not sure if reservations are needed, but we made a reservation and we were seated right away. To start off we ordered the Rose Fizz and Pear Sidecar. The Rose Fizz was so cute but I did not enjoy it :( The drink was 50% foam which I probably should have known had I read the description (my fault!) and it was too sweet for my taste. It literally tasted like cotton candy if you were to drink it. However, the Pear Sidecar was AMAZING!! Probably one of the best cocktails I've ever had. And also so cute! Presentation for both drinks were 10/10. We ended up having a few of those Pear Sidecars throughout the night and I can confirm they are boooooozy! For food we started off with the honey garlic pork belly. The reason why this review isn't 5 stars is because of this dish. It was a huge portion which we loved but it had absolutely no taste. It was also very rubbery and hard to chew. I'm assuming it was just overcooked. For our entrees we both ordered steak and shared a side of mashed potatoes and truffle mac and cheese. When I tell you they really redeemed themselves with these dishes!!! The steaks were amazing, juicy, and cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes were also so so creamy and just overall great. But the star of the night for me was definitely the truffle mac and cheese. If you visit this place... YOU NEED TO TRY IT! It was nothing short of delicious! The portions here are pretty big so we did not have room for dessert but that just means I have to come back to try some! Service here was great from the moment we walked in. Our waitress had a great attitude, was fast, and did not let us see an empty glass all night. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by the "vibes" of this place. TLDR; very cool but come for vibe and drinks only 3.5 stars if I could - most of the food is actually pretty decent, but we ordered the very overpriced gold steak for the "experience" and my entire family had diarrhea for days. Service was somewhat odd - they were very adamant about clearing our dishes and silverware right away, even when we weren't finished with the food. We asked if we could be left alone to slowly enjoy our shareable until the main dish was ready, but multiple servers tried to clear away our dishes. Even when we asked for a group picture, the server asked if he could clear our table before he could take the picture for us. The drinks are great - very beautiful in presentation, "gram"-worthy, and tasted great too. Our server suggested the Blue Moon and Pear Sidecar - I'm not usually into spicy drinks but really enjoyed the Pear Sidecar. Food is pretty good as well - some notable items: crispy cauliflower, crispy Thai chili shrimp, and Mac n cheese. I'm glad we ordered the chopped salad and broccolini to help "balance" out the the rest of our dishes. The marshmallow sweet potato's had too much marshmallow and not enough sweet potatoes. We were not presented with option to park, but looking at other reviews apparently there is a free parking option. When we arrived at 855 we were told that the table wasn't ready yet. My and my party of 5 waited at the bar, where luckily there was seating.
