Flew in from Miami to hang out with some friends and they couldn't wait to take us here. Walked in to the restaurant and was greeted by a not so friendly hostess, however, that all changed once we were seated. Our host Jonathan T. had great energy and represented the restaurant very well. He broke down the food and drink menus with great recommendations including specials. I really wanted to like this place. I truly did. But the food lacked.... Everything.... Ok so hubs and I drove up, and were taken aback by the unassuming exterior. It looks just like a vintage movie theater, with a old-school block letter marquee that simply says "now showing Juliet." Classy. Walking in, hostesses are seated at what looks like a concession stand and there are movie posters everywhere. To your right, there are closed double doors that cleverly shield you from the large dining and bar area. It's an incredibly attractive way to greet first time diners. But unfortunately, that's the only thing this place has going for it. I was underwhelmed from the moment I sat down and that jalapeño popcorn was placed at our table. Cool, it goes with the movie theater aesthetic. But I put one kernel in my mouth and was revolted by this sharp sting that crept into my nose and sinuses, causing me to cough incessantly. There were no other flavors I could decipher in the popcorn, nothing pleasing, nothing remotely resembling a tasty "welcome to the restaurant." It was literally an assault and battery on my taste and smell senses. I ordered a Blue Moon cocktail, which also lacked flavor, and the hubs ordered an old fashioned, which he absolutely loved! It was delish and is a must try if visiting this place. My Blue Moon tasted amateur-ish, a C+ at best. My palate could not allow for more than 2 sips. Next was our appetizers. Crab cakes were under seasoned, yet the texture was pleasurable. It seemed to get more flavorful towards the middle of the cake. This too, I did not finish. Hubs ordered the Caesar salad, and loved it, ate every bit of it. I tried it too, and immediately regretted ordering the crab cakes. Next, our main course, I ordered the red snapper with truffle butter sauce, which truly was delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection and paired so well with the delicious marshmallow sweet potatoes. The asparagus had some sort of seasoning on it that I could not decipher, but was distracting enough that I could only eat 2. From someone who normally eats A TON of asparagus, the fact that I couldn't stomach any more of my favorite vegetable was annoying to me. Hubs ordered prime rib steak and enjoyed it but also stated it was underwhelming too. He paired it with the Mac and cheese, and agreed with me that the side dish was only mildly appealing, and something was desperately missing. We capped the evening off with a small celebration cake, compliments of the restaurant. We ate it, but both agreed it was likely previously frozen, recently thawed, and again, lacking in flavor. The best things I tried was the old fashioned, marshmallow sweet potatoes and the red snapper. Absolutely delicious. I would also recommend the Caesar salad. But everything else, we should have passed up. Our bill, as pictured, came up to an impressive $286.54, and after a 25% tip (bc the waitstaff was awesome), we paid $358. Juliet was super cute. Went on a Monday night for a friends birthday, and when you walk in it has the cutest aesthetic. It's like a movie theater in the front. Once we were seated, the decor is definitely giving "girls night out" / "date night." I don't specifically remember what I ordered, I think I got the twin lobster tails and they were so good! This is a great looking establishment and the mimosas are good! I went with my friend since we wanted to try it out. Upon arriving, there was no one sitting by the valet stand so that I could ask a question which resulted in my driving to the back. Soon after parking, I got out and then all of a sudden someone walks up and tells me that we have to pay to park in the back. We decided to move our cars and park in the additional lot directly next to Juliet's. Parking becomes available so quickly so we definitely were not going to pay someone to park our car. I was so excited about visiting this place but what a huge let down. I truly enjoy fine dining, sadly this place is far from high end.... It's a pretty large parking lot with a ton of business, when I arrived... Valet placed cones in every single empty space, even spaces not close to the restaurant, so you're forced to Valet which is fine but theres no rhyme or reason for some of these place to be blocked off. I went to Valet and it was pretty far away, the guy told me $15. I had another guy flagging me down to go to him, same uniform closer to the restaurant, he stated it was only $10 but I had to pay him Upfront.... Hummmm... I told him I usually pay once I pick up my car. He said ok fine. I found that really sketchy but not sure if that's on the restaurant or the valet company Once you walk in, it's a small movie theater theme. I was greeted by Hostesses who were kind and walked me to my party. Once you're in...its pretty dark, an ok vibe. I Immediately got the young overly hyped scene not luxury at all....Trendy. We sat and ate, my Prosecco tasted watered down, I ordered "Jumbo" asparagus for $16, I received 5 thin asparagus, I thought it was a joke.... but the waiter stated that was "jumbo". I couldn't believe it, its was almost like a garnish. I also ordered tacos as an appetizer, Oh my, it gets worse. I cannot make this up. I received 3 minature one bite tacos for $16. The table next to us apparently had a menu that was too close to a candle and caught fire that was quickly put out but left a smoky smell. After they must have talked to my waiter and told him I tipped them cause that's when his entire mood and service toward my table changed he was now a great server all of a sudden, although I left him a tip at the end he really messed his self out of receiving a generous tip, he judged me by how I looked apparently, little did he know I was there celebrating achievements of owning a new restaurant ( 1 year anniversary) and rental properties. Furthermore, bread is also unavailable, only popcorn. Stale popcorn. Strange concept. I unconditionally do not understand the decor concept of the restaurant, the exterior, and foyer/entry is illogical. I perceive the movie theme, however, the intensity of a box office theater is bizarre. We were embarrassed when we arrived with our guests. Additionally, the restaurant is not on a good side of town. Juliet undertaking some guests into consideration, yet not all. Therefore, we felt uncomfortable. Lastly, the interior of the restaurant was cute. However, the rose wall that you see in the photos on the website is not IN the restaurant-It's in the BATHROOM! Therefore, there was a congregation of people in this meeting area in the bathroom lobby taking photos where is the logic in this? I feel the plans of this designs were not professionally created, but perhaps an idea someone had that was just an historic, legendary fail. I will not recommend this restaurant. Especially if you have a date or have business meeting. I would not want for you to be embarrassed like we were. Parking we got there at 5 o'clock for a reservation and we valet.
