I came here the other day and placed an order via telephone although I had to repeat myself a few time to ensure my order was correct my order came out perfect and so tasty! I mean the reviews really serve this place no justice which is sad my experience was great! I ordered D with all spices and spicy and it really is not spicy at all but the flavor was there. The sauce was great and the price matched! My daughter got her own crab legs and shrimp she ate them all no complaints. She's a foodie so she was going to be fine either way honestly. My mother had two lobster tails with garlic butter no spicy she enjoyed it said it was good. She would like to see sweet potato as an option on the menu My friend had C and she said it was good this was not her first time here so she knew what to expect. She did say there was not much sauce however I didn't have the same issue. I do wish they gave a plastic tool to open the crab but other than that it was great!

Grand Opening (used to be Green Lotus Asian Fusion)

The Juicy Crab has replaced Green Lotus, trading Asian Fusion for Cajun Seafood Boil. Not much has changed except the sign and menu. Still Asian owned, but no more General Tso's or Pho-Bo, replaced by higher margin Cajun spiced crab legs. The kitchen and front counter has not changed one iota. Another thing that has disappeared is no more bubble tea or slushy drinks. When I saw Fried Oysters on the menu, I had to have it. 10 oysters and a side item (choice of Cajun or regular fries, dirty rice and can of soda) is pretty good for $13 and they have a Lunch version with 7 oysters for $10. A clarification about the "dirty rice". It was not even close to what you would get in New Orleans or even at Popeye's. It is just chicken fried rice that you would get from the Chinese takeout. The woks in the kitchen were a giveaway. We also got a Combo Special A with 1/2 lb each of Black Mussels, Snow Crab and Shrimp (with no heads), which came with a small corn on the cob and 2 halves of a potato. You can choose your spice level with a Cajun Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce, a Pepper Special Sauce, Garlic Butter Only or a combo of everything. We went with the Cajun with single spice level and was a disappointed in the spice as well as level of sauce. It came in a double plastic bag and when we poured it out into a bowl, there was not much liquid in there. I was hoping to drench my white rice in sauce as well as dredge the seafood through it. There was only enough to sop up. However, the half snow crab cluster, about 9-10 shrimp and 1-1/2 dozen mussels was pretty substantial and worth the $25.99. The mussels are on the small side though and the sauce was thin and didn't coat the seafood as it should. I like crab boil restaurants, but not too thrilled with eating crab and shellfish as takeout. There's not much you can do with a plastic fork against a hard snow crab shell. They do not pre-crack it for you and do not include a steel shell/nutcracker. You are on your own to supply implements of shell destruction. Do not even think of ruining your expensive dental work. It's not worth it. I'm glad I purloined the shell cutting device that Joe's Crab Shack used to have before they closed. I didn't tell you that though.

My boyfriend and I thought this food was pretty damn good for the price. Shrimp is large in size. Spice is exactly how we wanted it. For a place in Queens...not close to the water I thought the freshness of the food was great. Even my 11 yr old son thought the shrimp was delicious. I think the shrimp could be deveined a little better cuz I caught a few that had some remnants lol in there but nothing I could clean out myself.

Was in the mood to treat ourselves with some seafood boil for dinner so we ordered a few combos from here! We got the Combo A ($30 which included 1/2 lb black mussels, 1/2 lb snow crab legs, and 1/2 shrimp without heads) and the Combo G ($23 which included 1/2 lb shrimp without heads, 1/2 lb green mussels, and 1/2 lb sausage). Both combos also came with 1 piece of corn and 2 (very large) potatoes. I really liked how there was an option to combine all their seasonings - definitely recommend getting the "juicy special" which includes cajun, lemon pepper, and garlic butter seasoning - so much umami flavor. The seafood tasted fresh and even though I'm not too big of a mussel person, I enjoyed these because they were very soft and bursting with flavor. We were impressed with how large the snow crab legs were and also really loved the sausage that came in the Combo G! We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer as well. While the texture was super crispy on the outside, I wish there had been a lot of more seasoning in the batter, but thankfully they included this sweet and spicy sauce that paired pretty well. This was more than enough food for four people to eat until full, with still a few leftovers, so I definitely think these prices are pretty worth.

Been either dining in or ordering take out ever since they opened the Rego Park location. Service is always friendly and amazing either dine in or take out. Take out is super easy. Order on line and you can even accumulate points for a future discount. They also deliver for free and its pricing is better than the online ordering services. We ordered 1lb each of the shrimp with head, snow crab legs and craw fish. We love the oceanic sauce but also ordered on garlic butter with old baby cause the little one loves it. You can also pick the level of spiciness. Only drawback is, seems like there's less sauce and the sauce is very watery compared to before and my kids love dipping the seafood back in the sauce and coating their rice in the sauce. We love the mango pina colada with a kick and the virgin option is always a treat for the 21 and under. They even sent an extra drink today since they made an extra by accident. Thank you!!!
