In 2012, I first tried this place with a few coworkers because we a job in the area. I loved it. Three years later, I tried it again. It was OK. I thought In terms of the moistness, I believe it to be better than El Pollo Loco and Charo Chicken, but I just wish the skin was a little crispier. I'm looking for a juicy-chicharrones kind of chicken. I definitely recommend if you're ever in baldwin park. Look for the BOGO 1/2 off dinner special chicken combo. read more

Love their super chicken salad. Chicken is moist and very well seasoned. Rachel is such a sweet lady. I forgot my wallet one time and she said that I can pay for it next time. Who does that now a days? This place is a must try!!!! You won't regret it :) read more

This place is always reliable in quality and service. The rotisserie chicken is good and the lunch and dinner deals they have are great. It's like Juan Pollo with an expanded menu. I often come in for a quick lunch and receive fast and friendly service. read more

We just had Juan's Super Pollo cater a party and everything was great! They had everything ready to go on time, and the servings were generous. Everyone at the party raved about how delicious the chicken was. If you are tired of having a taquero at every party, this is an excellent, affordable option. read more

This place is delicious. Fast and helpful service every time. Food is fantastic and cheap! Parking can be a little bit of a nightmare though. read more

i love the complaints on here about how i had to wait or they didn't give me a fork. this place is always packed at lunch so they must be doing something right. if the food doesn't have flavor its because you have to add it to your liking. theres stuff there to add to your food. do you want it swimming in sauce? the food is fresh. you can see the chicken being cooked. the rice as 1 guy put it took the shape of the bowl, duh! rice does that. for those who do take out theres spoons and forks near the napkins, don't forget to get them before you leave. also for those who need more flavor theres salt, pepper, and taco sauce next to the napkins, don't forget to load up before you leave. if you learn to pay attention you might enjoy your meal a bit more. i always have a good meal, get friendly service, and don't mind waiting in line for some of the best chicken tacos in this area. read more

I strolled in here with a Juan pollo coupon they told me it was not good for this location, so Now I'm confused. Anyways, I order the special a whole chicken 2 sides and brittle tortillas for about $13 total. Food was exactly what I expected, a safe choice freshly cooked nothing really special. The chicken was well cooked and moist which is important but not much flavor. Thanks to yelp I can find a much better choice read more

For $6.00, it is definitely worth it. The chicken is soft and the skin is delicious. There is a bit of a wait during lunch hours so either go before or after 1pm to avoid the line. I definitely prefer this over El Polo Loco. It is not as juicy but it is much more authentic. I've only had the lunch special here so I can't comment on anything else. The chicken lunch special comes with a soft drink, quarter chicken, potato salad, rice, and tortilla! read more

Very delicious food! Employees r very nice definitely my favorite place for family meals

We came here to try it out because we wanted something besides some fried food for dinner. We picked up a 2 chicken special for 13.99 with tortillas and salsa on the side. It was enough to feed my family of 6 really well! The chicken had a really great taste. we will definitely be coming back here. read more

My job ordered from here for a company party and I was blown away by how good their chicken and potato salad are. I've been coming here on my lunch ever since. The sides are pretty small which sucks but the food is good. The nachos are my favorite. read more

I just moved to West Covina from Texas, I had no idea where to go eat some chicken and saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. The food is very good, I sometimes to get the lunch special, or Mini special to go and left overs for work. They dont have chicken like this in Texas, so I am very fond. The customer service is good, always welcoming. The first time I went there a nice looking guy recommended me the lunch special which I why i eat there. Usually when i go there is always a girl with black hair and tall, shes always friendly and with smile.... I do want to try that veggie burrito, when i go on mondays i usually see a man always ordering that. so that means its good. read more

We happened to pass by this place when we tried to get away from freeway traffic. Holy cow! They are amazing! The chicken was sooo tender it falls off the bone! I'm a white meat eater so it's very hard to not make it dry. Food is good price is awesome! Dont let the name mislead you and think they're the franchise Juan Pollo! This place is family own and is a definite gem. Too bad they're far from my work and home but if we pass by will definitely stop here for sure! read more

Close to work and close to the real Juan Pollo...but cleaner than some I've seen. I like this place for lunch. I can call in my order and pick it up in a few minutes. If you're on a diet, I recommend the Super Chicken Salad....me loves it!!! read more

The Super Salad is very good. I get mine without chicken and tortilla strips on the side, as the salad is big and could be my lunch & dinner. Everyone from my office goes here and loves it. I recommend calling in 5 mins or so before you leave as there is usually a long line at lunch. read more

Juans is my favorite spots for lunch on a work day. If you love salad definitely go for the super chicken salad. Though that's one of my faves, I'm always satisfied with my choices here. GREAT service and the food is excellent at a great price. read more

Really good food, pretty cheap too. Chicken is crispy charred unlike El Pollo Loco. Their potato salad is to die for as well.

Went there other day in the afternoon, they had a buy a plate and get the other 50% off. Food was good, and came with sides and drink for like about $11 what a steal. Clean place and girl was friendly, and the cook gave me the crispy chicken that I asked. By the way funny tip jar and "call in sick" banner. read more

there new Picante Pollo is Great! it is only 5 50 and it can feed 2! they don't have it on the menu though..my bf bought it yesterday..i only got to try it cause he ate it all! you guys should get it, it some with chicken, rice beans, cheese, sour cream, and there salsa it's topped with red chilli, but it is not soggy at all! read more

They serve a great special super salad. Everything is fresh. Service is good. Everytime I call in an order it's there for me.

The Lunch Special is a tasty treat on a hot summer day. Two pieces of rotisserie chicken, spanish rice, homemade potato salad, fresh salsa and a soft drink for under six bucks! 5 stars for quality and value of food. The Raspberry Lipton Brisk tastes like ice cream too! I'd give them an official 5 star rating if they kept the place up a bit nicer. It kind of cheapens the experience a bit. That being said, I will most likely be becoming a regular at Juan's Super Pollo! This is the finest of Irwindalian cuisine!! read more

This is a family favorite since i can remember. Potato salad is my go to for pot lucks, it's always ready for pick up when they say it will be, and the price is a no brainer.. around $27 for a half tray which feeds i think 20-30. everything on the menu taste great! Whether you're feeding just yourself, your family, or a party, the price is right!! and you will get many compliments...never fails. the chicken has such good flavor and very moist. there's nothing negative i have to say about this place! read more

Great tasting chicken at a great price! We love Juans Super Pollo and have been coming here for years! The food quality is always superb. Service is also quick and courteous. They do a great job at flavoring the chicken. This is not the weak and ugly chicken you get at El Pollo Loco or on sale at your local store. This is good tasting, quality chicken cooked with great flavor. Enjoy! read more

Simply put - This place is GREAT!! The owners Francisco & Rachael are super fast and very nice. The fresh quality of the food keeps me coming back for weekly lunches. Makes Pollo Loco seem like garbage. You can't go wrong with the lunch special and the nachos are fantastic. regards - jdmech read more

The chicken tastes better than El Polo Loco, but their side dishes are not good. The bean needs more flavors and potato salad.

The staff is very and the food is very good. I ordered nachos and they were very delicious. The horchata is so good .

I agree with Jena. Well not totally because I have not yet tried the salad. But I agree about the cashier, he is hot and attracts me going there. I usually go to get chicken pieces for room mates and I. Chicken is good especially the skin, crunchy and delicious. Potato Salad is awesome. Would like the guys number tho read more

best chicken in town ...good service and a price is worth the food ..will recomend this place to ppl and fam ..i go here once a week

Love the place and the family that owns it. Great customer service and the food is delicious !!

I came last night for my first time, I've lived near the area my whole life. The chicken was really well flavored throughout(not just the skin). I got the family special I think, 2 whole chickens, 3 sides, plus tortillas and salsa. We ordered the mild salsa, which was great, next time tho I'm gonna add a little more spice. The wait wasn't long at all, the lady at the counter was super nice. And the restaurant was clean. Going to be going back for sure, and trying some other menu items. read more

Really good mexican style chicken at reasonable prices.

The chicken burrito is delicious and cheap, comes with a side but isn't needed because the burrito more than enough to fill you up! I am new to the area and the staff is the friendliest I've experienced. Highly recommend. read more

This review is based on customer service. Went in yesturday to get a "to-go" menu for my husband who needs a picture to pick a place to eat.. (thats a whole other issue) Went in around 6 pm. The girl working with blondish hair was very rude. Was totally bothered by my pressence. If she was busy with customers , I could understand. But the place was EMPTY!! She handed me the menu and continued to tell me that the prices in there are wrong and are now higher. Which I told her was fine. I ordred from them in May for a teacher event at our school and everything was very good. Especially, the potato salad. I'm pretty sure she didnt hear the end of my story since she walked away from me while I was still talking to her. Needless to say my daughters and I walked right out of there and did not order a thing. Took my 45 bucks I was gonna spend right with me, and I doubt if I'll ever drop another $450 bucks again either. My 7 year old asked what was her problem. To which I respond, lets talk about it next door at La Bufadora. read more

I always come here, and the young tall girl is always generous. Best service, I love the chicken and the mexican rice, taste of homemade. Tuesday Family i recommend. read more

My favorite place to eat for lunch when I use to work in Baldwin Park I still occasionally go and pick up dinner for the family. Besides the chicken I always make sure to have a side of their white rice ( it also has small peaces of chicken). read more

I have been coming here for a number of years. I found it since it is next to a Thai restaurant my mon liked when she was still around and living in Baldwin Park. I have since been to the Juan Pollo in Covina and in Glendora(?), and this place deserves the "Super" they have given themselves. I like the taste over the other pollos, and the people are always nice and accommodating. I recently went back after moving to Covina, and the taste is still the same, and the price is very reasonable. read more
