I went here the other day for lunch. It's closer than Juan Pollo to my work so thought I would give it a try. The Thursday special was recommended to me so I went on a Thursday. Chicken nachos and a drink for $5.12 (including tax). Super cheap! I loved them but my co-worker thought they were a little salty. But I would love to go again and try their lunch special (2 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, tortillas, salsa, and drink for $4.99). This place is pretty small with only a handful of tables situated in a strip mall. Lunch seems to get pretty crowded here. read more

Came here last night to pick up my fried's order for our annual holiday party. Walking in you just get a really good vibe of the place. The staff were very friendly. My friend ordered the #1 party tray, which consists of 6 whole chickens, flour or corn tortillas, salsa, rice, beans and potato salad for $69. The chicken was yummy, not dry at all. Adding the salsa to it just made it even more yummy! The rice was not the regular mexican rice i'm use to but it delish too! We were bummed to find out when we got home that it did not come with tortilla chips. :( read more

The folks at Juan Super Pollo are a generous bunch. So generous that they'll make you a $6 salad that easily lasts for 2 meals or 3 meals. Super Pollo Salad FTW! The salad's ingredients: - Rotisserie chicken chunks (mostly white meat) - Romaine & iceberg lettuce - Cucumbers - Purple onions - Shredded carrots - Avocado slices - Monterey white cheese - Tortilla strips - Dressing of your choice They are very generous with the servings. A tip: ask for light onions and tortilla strips on the side. Those onions are potent and I prefer to add my own amount of strips so it doesn't overwhelm the salad. Their 1/4 and 1/2 chicken combos are tasty too. If you're in the area, stop by and enjoy! read more

Super tasty chicken. Me and my husband always buy chicken here when we have small gathering. Never disappointed!

Today I was able to feed a party of six adults with the jumbo pack meal. Everyone at the gathering was very happy with the quality of the freshness and taste. This is a family owned restaurant, so everything is made with care and integrity. Oh! By the way I only spent about $45 dollars. I'll be back soon! Thank you! read more

Been going there for the past 10 yrs and it's good food!! Specially on certain special days!!

I just love this place. It's that type of food you just never get tired of eating. I can't always eat pizza or burgers, but Juan's Super Pollo is just like food from home, only better! I love getting the dinner meal with potato salad, coleslaw, and beans. And Usually my husband gets the nachos so I get the best of both worlds. Everything they have here is just bomb! And I love how they have that extra hot salsa on the side. The one they provide with your meal isn't hot enough for me. The girls at the cash register are always so sweet and helpful. They are never rude or too busy. I always like the staff here. Everyone smiles at you! The bathrooms are whatever, but at least they have one. And it's not like I plan on eating in there so I personally don't care. I don't even live close to Juan's and I come here all the time. I know they have the original "Juan Pollo" off of Azusa and Covina Blvd., but this place is 100x better!! I'll never stop coming here no matter where I live. read more

This place never disappoints, their chicken is always fresh and good! The owner definitely cares about quality and the customers satisfaction. read more

Foods alright, nothing spectacular. It's one of those places that are convenient because you only wait like three minutes for a full meal. Basically the time it takes for them to package it. They are constantly making chicken all day so it's always fresh. I feel like quality has gone down in the recent years but it could be that my expectations got higher because we've been going to other chicken places. But $25 for two chickens and some sides is decent. Especially when you don't have time to cook. Staff is alright, but I was in and out so I can't really comment on that. They were nice enough for the time spent in there. read more

One of my colleagues recommended this place. Nice place for lunch takeouts. Chicken here is amazing. Pretty fast service too.. read more

Good lunch spot if you are in the area. Usually come here and pick up the two piece chicken lunch meal which comes with 2 pieces of chicken (as the name implies), two sides (i get the rice and the potato salad). Chicken is good, rice is good, and the potato salad is bomb dot com. read more

I ordered Juans Super Pollo this past weekend for my sons 3rd bday party and it was a hit!! I ordered the party package #3 and it was plenty of food that there was so much leftover. I will definitely be ordering from here again for future events. The best part also was that i called the day before and booked my package over the phone. When i got there at the time I said I would to pick up the food everything was ready and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They helped me and my husband take the food to our car and organize it in the back so it wouldn't spill or anything. read more

Very good place excellent customer service great tasting chicken all the sides are wonderful

I totally agree with Terren on this place. In case you are wondering, this place seems to be a total knock-off of the Juan Pollo chain, from the menu options to the pricing. Fortunately, the food is totally on par with Juan Pollo, so I can care less that they didn't have the common courtesy to at least change the name of place so it wasn't so blatantly obvious. In fact, I think I like the rice better here. Sitting in a small strip mall on the southeast corner of Arrow Highway and Irwindale Boulevard, this place does not exactly jump out at you, so you have to look for it. The store itself is kind of small, so it's not really good for groups of people, or for dates, unless you are trying to send a message. But the service is friendly and the place is clean. I'm good with that. read more

One Word .. AMAZING! Juan's Super Pollo is quality rotisserie chicken at an affordable price. Conveniently located in the corner plaza of Arrow Highway and Irwindale Ave. Juan's Super Pollo is a small "Mom and Pop Shop" that specializes in rotisserie chicken. The chicken is delicious, moist, and tender. It's probably some of the best rotisserie chicken I've had in a while. They also have amazing daily specials, however my favorite is the Tuesday Special (Half Chicken, Tortilla, Salsa, Small Salad, and a Medium Drink). You can get all that for less than $6! The owner here is especially friendly and I'm a frequent regular since its so close to my work. read more

I've been coming here for years! I come during lunch time and always order their lunch special. It consists of chicken, rice, potato salad, tortillas, salsa, and a drink...for less than $6! The food is really good and there's usually a wait during lunch time. They offer specials almost everyday of the week. You will have to look for them under their menu that's hanging on the wall. (they're printed on colored paper). Staff here is friendly and dining area is relatively clean. read more

So I originally gave this place one star but decided to give it another try....... Actually 2 more tries. The food is good and the last two orders they actually got both correct. I really like the spicy salsa. The one thing that I have noticed and failed to bring up in my original review was the customer service needs work. I hate going to a place and the people there making you feel like you are bothering them. read more

Tried this place for lunch today and it was very good. The inside is clean and the staff is friendly. They take and serve orders quickly so don't let a line worry you. I had mine to go but wouldn't mind staying to eat in the dining area. I tried the two piece lunch special with two sides and a drink. It also came with tortillas and salsa. I am not usually a big fan of chicken but this really is outstanding. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, the meat comes apart easily. Price is very reasonable, more quality food for your dollar than a fast food chain. read more

Came here around 2pm to pick up some chicken for a late lunch. I walked in at the same time with 2 other guest. First guest placed his order with no problem, but when it was my turn (and the guest after me) the worker attitude changed. She took our order like we were idiots and was not friendly throughout the process. We were the only two wearing business attire... so maybe there some resentment there? My food came out at the same time as the other guest. She slid it across the counter and just stared at the both of us. Not a word was said, not even after grabbing our food and thanking her. I ordered the lunch combo with 2 piece chicken, 2 sides, tortilla and salsa with free small drink. I enjoyed the white rice and potatoes salad. Chicken was kind of dry, but I don't expect much. Nothing to special about the non spicy "hot" salsa or tortilla. Portion was enough for lunch and dinner and price reasonable (6.75 with tax). -2 star for bad service and attitude of the young lady worker. read more

Great lunch special for under $6! You get the following: 1) 2 large pieces of rotisserie chicken that's super juicy, tender, and flavorful 2) 1 drink with choice of orange bang, horchata, or the usual soda fountain options 3) 1 side of rice with chicken pieces 4) 1 side of potato salad 5) 1 side of salsa (hot or mild) 6) tortillas (flour or corn) The result is a happy stomach and a happy wallet. read more

Old dried out chicken 1 Star Beans & rice very good 4 stars We tried it again recently, ordered 2 dinners and one whole chicken (2 halves) to go. Got home & the chicken in the dinners was old with dried out meat, the 2 halves were better but still, we're out 2 x 8.99 for chicken that was inedible in the dinners because it was so old & sitting round so long. We basically got served half fresh & half old chicken. Horrible. Will not return. read more

Man, when I lived in Azusa, I swear I would go to this place at least 3 times a week. How can you beat their lunch special of 3 pieces of chicken, rice, potato salad, tortillas, salsa, and a drink for under $6? Not only that, but the chicken is delicious - flavorful but also juicy. As has been mentioned by other reviews, the owners/proprietors are extremely nice people, and they really seem to be a hard-working couple. I honestly haven't tried anything else on their menu, but their lunch special is all you'll need to get :) read more

We discovered some great food at reasonable prices. I had soft tacos that were made with some really flavorful chicken. The Spanish rice was very light and fluffy. Hard to find authentic Spanish rice. My colleagues had the rotisserie chicken that both really enjoyed. The rotisserie chicken looks like a cross between a Pollo Loco and Charo chicken. Definitely I would recommend a place for a delicious lunch. Nothing fancy but definitely good food. read more

Juan's Super Pollo - Yum - Mexican Near Me - Baldwin Park, California

ZERO STARS!!! My family have been customers for YEARS now, unfortunately today we bought two sides of potato salad amongst other things, but the potato salad was spoiled. We decided to take it back to let the workers know and to prevent anyone from getting served the same spoiled batch. The two women working there were totally and completely rude. They blamed us and told us that we left the potato salad out, thus resulting in the sour taste. Instead of offering to right their wrong they continued to put the blame on us. What ever happened to customer service? We went back with good intentions not even asking for a refund nor expecting one and yet these ladies, instead of apologizing, instantly went on the defense. Never again will we go to this location, and I highly suggest any future customers check the food before leaving! read more

My wife ordered a bean and cheese burrito burrito and there was a rock in it. No joke for real.

I initially said hey there's a Juan Pollo over here, but after looking up the reviews I realized it wasn't the same thing, but thought how bad could it be. I ordered the chicken nachos since someone posted a pic and it looked decent. The chips were fine, beans good, sour cream good, the guacamole was starting to discolor a bit but I wouldn't deduct any stars for that. But the chicken was just bad, it had that re-warmed taste, and parts of it were hard. I tried to eat around it but they do put a lot of chicken. read more

Loved there chicken nice little spot !!! Definitely will be back here again. I had the dinner combo shared my combo with my son and he loved it! Picante burrito for my husband and he said it was delicious ! read more

Purchased the party pack #2 the chicken was a little dry. It did serve its purpose. I would recommend the white rice instead of the Spanish. I also would get the hot salsa, and the potato salad was my favorite. read more

chicken is really flavorful, service is always quick and friendly. I like this spot for a healthy quick meal.

This Pollo melts in your mouth! So delicious and the best Chicken Salad I've had. Very friendly environment! Don't miss out!

The ingredients makes you coming back for more! You want a great chicken, well Juan's rotisserie is the best. The skin alone is addicting wishing for more, potato salad is yum, rice seasoning solitude. Yum. read more

This place is so yummy. The chicken, the potatoe salad, rice and chicken salad are ALL AMAZING! The only thing that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars is the fact that they close so early (8:30pm), especially on sunday's. I believe that a great place like this should be a little more accomodating to their customers. If you are looking for great food this place is definently the place to go. :) read more

You can ALWAYS count on this place for good and affordable food. Their specials vary daily and the food portion is very generous. My go to dish at this spot is their lunch special, which consisted of a 1/4 chicken, 2 sides, tortilla, salsa, and a refillable drink. I get the potato salad and Spanish rice for my side dishes and no matter how hungry I am, I always end up with leftovers. read more

Let's just say, I've had better. The restaurant is very small and crowded, which I'll admit annoyed me a little when my stomach was empty. However, if the food were good, I'd forgive that. Now, don't get me wrong...it wasn't terrible. But I wouldn't go back (except my coworkers seem to really like it, so I guess I'm stuck). Maybe it was what I ordered: I had one of the specials, which was three soft chicken tacos with cilantro and diced onions. I love cilantro, diced onions, chicken and soft tacos, so you'd think I'd be ok, right?? Wrong. The sheer amount of cilantro they put on these things was ridiculous...and yes, while I did scrape some of it off, it was still a little overpowering. The chicken rice was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Guess that's how I'd sum it up: nothing too great...definitely not good enough to get more than 3 stars from me. It was extremely cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for, but still...there are many other places I'd choose to go to lunch before I'd choose this place. read more

We ordered the family meal and it was perfect!! Great portions, delicious food, super nice service. We definitely will be back again!! Totally recommend, you will not regret it! read more

This Saturday we had my son's 4th birthday in Azusa. My wife tells me I have to pick up the party food from Juans Super Pollo? I was like who? You mean Juan Pollo? So this establishment is a smaller company and not the same company. My first thought was damn! How is it going to taste? To my surprise their food was excellent. The chicken was moist and very well cooked. The rice was on point and the beans just as good. The potato salad was ok, but maybe I like moms better. For 130.00 we got 12 whole chickens but they cut it up for you, that was nice. Half pan of rice, beans, tortillas, and potato salad. They also provided plates spoons forks napkins not jus a couple allot. This fed at least 25 people plus food to take home. I highly recommend this location for great Mexican food, I definitely will be back. Thank you Juan Super Pollo! read more

Stopped by this place on a drive from LA to Vegas. Had the lunch combo and I was not disappointed. If you're in the area eat here. You'll thank me later. The food was delicious. read more

I been going to this place for at least 3 years it's been excellent although here lately the food and service has really gone down in my opinion. Dry chicken, not getting what you ordered, and the service really sucks. I went there last night 17 NOV 2020 around 545pm and was really rushed by the person behind the counter. I could not get a word in. I said to myself the hell with this and walked out. I don't think I will be returning there again. read more

Love the food and prices are very reasonable. Although staff is very nice, service takes very long. One employee handles an order from start to finish so they're scrambling in the kitchen to get a plate, then to get the chicken, then over to the other side for potatoes, then to the fridge to get the salsa...I waited almost 20 minutes for a 2 person meal Assembly line works best. Hopefully they change their setup. read more
