Being this is my initial visit, I had to go with their signature Torta Pumas loaded with everything imaginable. This sandwich is made to order and it is absolutely delicious. I also have to mention this Torta can easily feed a family of 4 and at $22, that is a bargain in New York City. Parking is very difficult around the area as this food truck is located steps from corner of 108th St. and Roosevelt Avenue. However, you get there, I promise you the trip is worth your while. Shout out to the ladies working in the truck. The time I went was so busy yet they handled all customers with a smile and energetic service. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

We decided on ordering 4 different items from the menu; Aguachile, tacos de birria, quesadilla de birria and 1 cemita. Everything was so delicious. Their tortillas are homemade which makes the tacos and quesadillas so much tastier. The cemita was HUGE! Just like the ones in Mexico! And the quesadilla was also big (I was only able to eat half). Both the tacos de birria and quesadilla come with a side of consome in which you dip your tacos and quesadilla. The cemita and quesadilla are shareable unless you are super hungry. Everything we ordered had so much taste and we were beyond satisfied. We will definitely be coming back for more.

In the usual spot near the station at Roosevelt Avenue, no frills truck serving tacos, tortas, burritos, and plenty of other items at a reasonable price. Decided on the Bistec Taco ($3.50) as well as the Al Pastor Torta ($8). Food was ready within ten minutes (thankfully, since it was cold out). Taco is pretty good, a generous amount of beef and some onions/cilantro on a flour tortilla. A little on the dry end, but helped it with some hot sauce. Torta suffered from stale bread, but the actual meat/cheese/sauce was solid. Nothing exceptional here, but there is usually no line and they open late. Good spot for a quick fix on the block.

If La Quesadilla Sabrosa (The Delicious Quesadilla) isn't my favorite taco cart in all of Queens,…read moreit's certainly going to be in my top 5. I can always look forward to a good meal here because everything from the meat to the tortillas are outstanding and fresh. And unlike their neighboring mobile taquerias a block away, they are rarely any lines here. Literally parked in front of the Chase Bank just off steps away from Little India, the smell of fresh cooked meats form a small aroma cloud of steam for passerbys and onlookers just looking to get a piece of the taco action. To claim a corner in front of a bank means there are few excuses for people not to have access to some dollar bills. That alone is pure genius on this cart's part. Speaking of prices, each taco here is the standard Roosevelt / Elmhurst / Corona market price of $2.00. There is something about the way they make their carnitas and al pastor meats that make me slobber in anticipation each time. With the sprinkle of some lime, some bits of salsa thrown in the mix, it's practically the perfect taco. The nice lady who I often see manning the cart has a habit of stuffing the taco to the point where cilantro, onions, and meat take up most of the space on the tortilla. In order for me to be able to hold the taco up, I always have to ask for them to go easy on the cilantro and onions. They have a condiment station with all of the radishes, various salsas, limes, and gaucamole for the ultimate DIY taco customization. While I think their tacos are excellent, some have contended their quesadillas are what they do best here (the name is no coincidence right?). It's hardly the quesadillas of the chain restaurant or bar food variety, but more like a giant folded over flour tortilla that would otherwise look like an oversized taco with bits of cotija cheese, lechuga, cilantro, lime, and plenty of filling. My favorite is the more expensive option in the huitlacoche (corn smut) at $3.50 and the ever simple quesadilla de papas (potatoes). On a whole they're all quite good, but for some reason the tacos take the cake for me. Then there is the rest of the food. La Quesadilla Sabrosa offers an array of other antojitos from huaraches to tostadas to picaditos. All that I've sampled were decent to stellar, though they take considerably longer to prepare. When realizing our harsh winter weather as of late, this is never fun. I guess I just like it cheap and dirty (#1). Their tortas, while fresh and filling, are still a notch below El Gallo Giro (http://www.yelp.com/biz/el-gallo-giro-jackson-heights) and more expensive than Tacos Guicho (http://www.yelp.com/biz/tacos-guicho-jackson-heights) at $5.00 each across the board. Recommended meat fillings would be carnitas and chorizo, which usually tend to go quickest. On a whole, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Unfortunately this place isn't 24 hours and is usually only available from the evening to late night. The cart itself is bright and shockingly weather proof (covers / heat warmers). With a clean cart and delicious food, La Quesadilla Sabrosa is a win-win for all taco crawlers in the area. _____________ (#1) *wink* Hi there.

Two al pastor tacos packed to the brim with meat is a good deal for $6. Buying one would be $4. However, the tacos lacked two things. Lastly, I really wish they gave just a pinch more onions. The gorditas did look appetizing. Maybe next time.

Ay Guey is tucked away on an unsuspecting side street where you would not expect to find a bomb Mexican restaurant. When I walked in around 5 pm on a Friday this place was absolutely jumping. One server was not only handling the entire (albeit small) dining room, but was also serving all the drinks for said patrons. He was truly a machine, so much so that I didn't even mind that our drinks took a minute for him to get to. We sat at the bar with him which was small but cozy. He let us know it was still happy hour, so we had our fill of the strongest $10 margaritas I've ever experienced before happy hour ended at 7 pm. Palomas, sangria, and their signature watermelon drink are also included in this happy hour deal. We kicked things off with the best nachos I've ever had. Absolutely loaded with all the toppings, crunchy and delicious. Next, I had the ceviche which was fresh and beautifully made. My date had a sad cheese quesadilla because he's vegetarian - but our server let us know that next time they can throw some veggies in there if we ask so that it's not so sad looking. Our server, despite being busy AF, was in great spirits laughing and joking with us. I would definitely come back here for the food and ambiance. 10/10.
