I haven't been to their other locations in the city, but this was really quite good. My recommendations are the El Gobernador, The Cracken, an aguachile (mango habanero is my fave) and the tuna toastada. The Ceviches are quite boring in my opinion, so go for an aguachile instead. DRinks are great, they have cantaritos and carajillos. What could go wrong if you've got both to choose from. Service is friendly and the ambiance is authentic mexican food plus air condiditoning. We'll be back.

Our server was extremely friendly and helpful, and she was happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. The fish was fresh, and the ceviche was solid, although there was no wow factor. The standout for me was the Molcajete Norteño, the fried octopus with guacamole, which was delicious. The most annoying part of the experience was when a kid came in and turned the music up extremely loud, then started singing a solo and going around asking everyone for tips afterward. We gave him $3 for his effort, but honestly, it was more loud and annoying than entertaining. I'm not even sure if he worked there or was just someone who came in off the street. Overall, the food was solid and the service was friendly, but I'm not exactly counting down the days until my next visit.

After a gym session, my sister had a craving for tamales, so we decided to check out this place…read moreshe'd been eyeing. Having never tried tamales before, I was pretty eager (thanks to her positive comments). We sampled both the adobo ($2) and birria ($2.5) tamales, and they were absolutely amazing. Personally, I found the adobo tamale to be slightly better in terms of flavor but both were equally well made with its rich, flavorful seasoning. My sister, who has tried tamales before, mentioned that these were even better than the ones she got from the random tamale table (near Woodside), thanks to the diverse flavor options available and how fresh they came out. The customer service here was exceptional. A friendly lady approached us, handed us menus, and took our order with a warm smile. Even though tipping isn't required, their service went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcome. We also couldn't resist trying the birria taco ($4), which arrived piping HOT. It was generously stuffed with birria, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. While it was a tad salty for my taste, my sisters thoroughly enjoyed it and had no complaints. Our total order came out to a little less than $10 for three people, which was perfect for a light snack before heading home for our protein dinner (get that protein intake in! EEEEEEEEEE)

Food: Tacos 4/5…read moreTacos were outstanding. The meat was tender with juicy flavors. The tortilla tasted fresh w the cilantro and onions. The so called "guacamole" they had on top was very watery didn't have flavor and shouldn't have been placed on top of the tacos. The tacos taste good without it. Additionally, the radish wasn't cut well. Tostada 3/5 The chicken wasn't seasoned well, it was moist and not dry. There was too much lettuce on it, and it contributed to it being unseasoned. Guacamole and chips 0/5 Watery guacamole, it looked more like a salsa than guacamole. One can't even taste the supposedly "guacamole." It's not even seasoned well, it was watery green mush. The chips were too deep fried , so it was difficult to chew and hurt my teeth. AVOID getting this Horchata 5/5: Tasted fresh and homemade. It was not sweet at all, and happy there was less ice because the drink was cold without the ice. Service 3/5 The lady was rude about explaining the different options for the regular guacamole versus the premium, which wasn't specific on the menu. One girl working the floor so had to wave to her twice or more to get her undivided attention. Ambiance 3/5 Restaurant isn't fantasy, no decor. It's simple. They had a soccer game on, and it was nice that other people were also rooting for the same team. Side note: -it's authentic Mexican tacos for a really amazing price

First of all, the staff barely knows English and that created a language barrier. I ordered a beet juice and a Plain Quesadilla. The beet juice was room temperature and bitter, so I asked them to exchange it for a Fruit Punch Jarritos instead. When I received my Plain Quesadilla it had beans on top, the tortilla was hard, and the lettuce and tomato on the side. Inside, the cheese was not melted and there was zero flavor. My friend ordered orange juice and it was also room temperature and tasted like banana. She also ordered 3 Chicken tacos that lacked flavor as well. The only thing that made my quesadilla kinda edible was the green spicy sauce.

I really enjoyed the tacos in particular. They had really tender and delicious meat with great flavoring. The Nortena Tortas was also a really solid sandwich. Service (4/5): Solid service where they took our order without any issues. The food took a bit longer to come out but it was probably because they were making it fresh. Ambiance (3/5): It's an ok decorated store with minimal frills but overall nice. There seemed to be seating upstairs and a place to wait if you order to go. We ordered to go and had no issues in the waiting area.

Dear Mexican food lovers of New York. In order to collectively raise the game of the tacos in our…read morefair town, we need to hold our vendors to a higher standard. There are many ways to do so, but the hill I've chosen to die on is that great tacos demand a tortilla that is made fresh, to order. And Aqui En Bella Puebla has them. The meat inside the tacos, pretty good. I had barbacoa de chivo and lengua. Both were good. But it was all brought together by the handmade tortilla. Soft, pliable, delicious. A little onion and cilantro on the top, dash of salsa. That's what I want in a taco. Unfortunately the quesadilla was kind of bland. I read another review here that said something similar, so I guess that's their style? A little disappointing, but different strokes for different folks. Come here for the tortillas.

Came again a few weeks ago, so need to give them the props they deserve. No doubt I come here for their tacos more than anything else. My favorites include the Lengua (beef tongue), Oreja (pig ear), and Camaron (shrimp). The Al Pastor and Carnitas are great too. All their tacos are always filled to the brim, which is appreciated. I do like their freshly made Guacamole and the Seafood Soup too. However, not a big fan of their cemitas or fluetas. Regardless, most of the food is quite excellent. Open early and close late, this has been a staple in my Mexican diet over the years in the Jackson Heights area. The decor is festive and the service is always friendly.
