    Chips & extremely hot sauce
    Fateha A.

1st time here & we got chips with green chili sauce. The sauce was extremely spicy. It was like fire on my tongue. It was still good tho. We got some drink that's made out of flowers which tasted like iced tea with tamarind. The tacos were so damn good! The Beef & fish were my favorite. The Beef wasnt dry at all. The fish was really soft & well seasoned. The chicken one was kinda bland tho. The tacos taste much better with the green chili sauce. The tacos came with radish & lime on the side. I finally tried mangonada for the 1st time after dreaming abt it for a yr. It was mad spicy but so good. I loved the spicy tamarind candy too. The mango was sweet but half of it was just so spicy. I got Mexican style shrimp which came with rice , beans & bell peppers. I had no idea it'd come with bell peppers or I wuda ordered the shrimp w/o bell peppers. The shrimp was pretty bland. The chicken & beef quesadillas were really good.

This area is well known for their tacos. Truth be told, we were venturing from Long Island, to get food from a popular food truck which won't be named atm. Glad the line was too long Bc we ended up trying this spot. As with most places in the neighborhood, parking sucks! I would suggest ordering ahead if possible. We got the carnitas- which were decently sized - 3 in a order. Personally I could have used a little more salt, but others in my family said it was perfect as is. We also got their tostada- which if your preference is more crunchy and hearty (it has cheese and other toppings not in the taco) I would recommend it. A lot of options, will be going back to try more stuff.

They over charged me tacos and a torta and top of that it didn't taste that good. I don't think I'll ever go back there.

So this place is like all the hype is about it…read more Very good service Very clean The food is different and very quick , tasty and leaves you wanting more . Position are a bit small for a whole in the wall like this and prices are high especially on the tacos but that's because the quality seems really good and fresh and effort put into it. I will definitely try to come back And come early no reservations have to wait in lines cold or warm you will have to. Maybe they should open another spot or expand but that's their business .

The menu is entirely in Spanish but the waiters can help if needed. We ordered the Gobernador taco, a half dozen shrimp, the regular guacamole and the aguachiles verdes. The Gobernador was a large size - really more like a mini quesadilla than a taco in my mind. It was flavorful and filled with seafood. The half dozen shrimp were cooked well, but a little hard and messy to peel. The guac was good, a little oily but tasty. The aguachiles were really good but borderline too spicy for me. The spice continued to build as I ate them and it did feel less enjoyable but it was good to start. My main grievance with this restaurant was how loud it was. I was yelling and struggling to hear what my friend or the waiter said, but the food was delicious. Maybe if it were less crowded it would be ok, but definitely not a great atmosphere for having a conversation.

They offer a different special for any day of the week, first time around on a Thursday Margaritas special , Tamarind & Mango nice big glass great margaritas, good tasty & nice & strong They start u off with some cake pieces, has a banana bread taste very good. Apps , we tried the Tostones con Birria very good great tasting meat & Chorizo Mac & cheese , also very good. Main dishes , Al pastor tacos & Chicken Burrito were both very good. Next time we stopped by for brunch, we got the bottomless option tried the Sangrita white, good sangrita price wise makes sense assuming u drinking more than 3-4 glasses a person. On the food Carnitas Benedict & short rib hash were both very tasty. For dessert gave the Tres Leches a try not bad, just the right amount of sweet. Another brunch visit & we tried Paloma spritz, good & Mexican coffee, pretty strong in taste. Chicken & waffles topped with bacon, very good chicken good combo dish. & the Lady's enchiladas great taste the enchiladas w the green sauce & cheese on top. Good size restaurant, small bar area towards the back, simple but colorful decor. Service overall has been good, they are attentive. Reasonable prices & u get a decent amount of food. This place has been around for some time, happy we discovered it recently overall good vibe, food & drinks, we will continues to visit from time to time.

2nd order from Tacos y jugos via Uber Eats…read more We ordered flautas, burritos and tostones. Each suffered from condensation between packing time and delivery time. We also ordered elote which is rolled up in tin foil. It was spicy for my palate and the crumbly cheese was okay. Just wasn't for my taste at all. But corn cleared my palate for the next bite. The rice in the burrito was undercooked. Some part of the grain was crunchy, but my boyfriend didn't notice it. I think I'll give this place another try.

I had a much higher expectation from this restaurant but I guess maybe it was just not a good day?…read moreI'm willing to give them another try in the future but the food definitely didn't stand out. I placed an online order through Ubereats. I wasn't impressed with the food and the taste overall was just not there. The restaurant also failed to follow instructions and didn't remove the guacamole from the tacos for my husband. We ordered an Elote which was very awful and had a foul taste. I believe the corn was rotten. I love Elote and I love the Cotija cheese and chile on it but the corn itself tastes very bad. They also gave a weird amount, 1 Elote and a piece of random corn on the side, Ha! We had carnitas tacos and Al pastor tacos. They were okay but so much fat rather than meat. It was also slathered with guacamole which I love but my husband doesn't. I also had an order of chicken Flautas and they were fried great but the chicken inside was hard as a rock. It says it comes with lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole all of which was hardly present. They gave me brown wilted iceberg lettuce underneath the Flautas with the smallest amount of pico and guacamole. Thankfully I took the guac off my husband's tacos because if not, I would've been left hangry. As mentioned earlier, I'm willing to give this place another chance, it wasn't like it was inedible, the quality was just not fresh and tasty.

Ironically, earlier while trying to decide where to go for dinner, I had sent this restaurant to my friend but we ended up going somewhere else and came here for drinks afterward. The drinks were really good! We tried the "Sexy Oaxaca," which consists of 7 Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal, Cointreau, grilled pineapple, mint agave, fresh lemon, and warm salt. This drink takes your taste buds on a ride. It starts off light and refreshing with the mezcal throughout, then finishes with a smoky effect from the pineapple since it's lit. It was really good!! I also tried the "VIP Old Fashion," made with Patrón Extra Añejo, Nixta corn liqueur, Angostura, and orange bitters. This was also good and was smoked prior to being served, giving it a smoky aftertaste. It's definitely a drink you sip slowly. Although we arrived about an hour and a half before closing, the waiter was very polite and professional. They also didn't rush us out once it was closing time, which I appreciated. There were other customers still there enjoying themselves as well. I will definitely be back for dinner. I'm very curious to see what the food is like. I really enjoyed the drinks.

Nothing bad, but I felt like it could've been a bit better overall. The food was good though, I ordered the mixtos tacos, which let's you pick three different tacos from the menu. It was around $23, which is a little pricey. But the tacos were a decent size and definitely filling. My favorite thing I tried was the chori queso. I never had it before and it was honestly the standout dish for me. I would order that again. I also tried the enquites which is street corn. It had a bit of a burnt taste. I know some people enjoy that smokey flavor, but it really wasn't for me. Overall, it was a nice time and for some of the dishes too.
