Did a taco walk thru Roosevelt Ave and stop over to try the Al pastor with guacamole. The guacamole and char of the meat was ok but flavor was flat. I give this place average taste, environment is clean though.

Watery guacamole.

This place used to be really tasty but after the renovation it drops hard. The guacamole was tasteless and watery. Very disappointed Because I spent time and energy looking for parking in that congested area. LOT more options elsewhere nearby.

My friend's Mexican mom's love this spot because on weekends they make special food. I tried it a couple of times and didn't understand the hype. But you have to know what you like and what to order. As much as I love steak tacos , I wasn't a fan of the ones here. But I do eat the chicken burritos probs everyday for lunch.

Find yourself in the Corona area seeking Mexican cuisine, I recommend you try this restaurant. Tucingo serves authentic Mexican dishes, including tacos, soups and more. The place is currently under renovation, looks like they are downsizing, but still has a good size sitting area. The food and sauces are delicious.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend's co- worker who is Mexican. I would defiantly recommend you come here with someone who speaks Spanish because the staff here doesn't speak English. If you want authentic Mexican food then I would highly recommend this place. One of the best tacos I have ever had. I ordered the al pastor taco. The meat is so juicy, tender, and flavorful. I also had horchata for the first time. It was so good I am addicted. I will defiantly be returning.

26.00+29.90? +10.95=66.85 not 70.85. It may just be $4 but I did tip the delivery guy $10, his loss, won't get it again.

Ordered delivery from here one night after just moving to the neighborhood. I was deceived by other reviews and ordered to my hearts content since I LOVE Mexican food. Food came, I was overcharged even though I was given an itemized receipt, I guess someone didn't know how to use a calculator!!!!! I asked for all the food to NOT have guacamole on it and to please give it to me on the side in a cup, its written on the receipt - but everything had guac on it. Needless to say, it had already begun to brown in all the tacos. The chicken in the tacos lacked seasoning of any kind and overall this was a disappointment and an insult to tacos. I have seen the other pics and really wish i took a picture of my food....not 1 shred of lettuce or pico or anything. I ordered in spanish and was read back the order and it was all good. I don't understand what happened here but I won't throw away my money here again. They got lucky they were the only place open for delivery at 11pm. NEVER AGAIN! P.S. Make sure you have an updated version of the menu and its prices.

Recently juat tried the shrimp nachos. Best nachos ive ever ever ever had. Best mexican spot hands down. Also ate the tostadas and im so in love. Nice ans crunchy at the bottom and the meat is so juicy and full of flavor. Spicy sausage was my favorite and my girlfriend had the pineapple pork which is also awesome. Love it. Good prices too.

We are not Mexican but my mother always meets her girlfriend at this spot for tacos. I finally decided to give it a try and took the trip from Astoria to Corona on a nice Sunday afternoon. The place was not so loud as expected and it was quite spacious (great for groups and children) Besides the courtesy nachos with the salsa, we ordered additional "regular nachos" but those came with refried beans, lettuce, melted cheese and guac. These were the highlight of the whole stay I must say. I got an order of 2 chorizo tacos and 1 tongue taco. The sausage was not chopped finely as it is in Mexican custom and the cow tongue tacos were very bland. Again, we're talking about a traditional Mexican joint here geared towards the demographics of the neighborhood (corona) thus I'm not expecting la creme de la creme, but let's say this restaurant did not surpass the quality level of any other Mexican joint in the neighborhood.

Best Agua de Horchata fried shrimps Chicken quesadilla & chicken Tacos

My kids don't eat spicy food ,so you can't go wrong with chicken tacos or chicken guesadilla love this place!!!

Maybe the best Al pastor I've had anywhere in NYC. And very generous portions. The waitresses are very nice.

Position are a bit small for a whole in the wall like this and prices are high especially on the tacos but that's because the quality seems really good and fresh and effort put into it. The menu is entirely in Spanish but the waiters can help if needed. We ordered the Gobernador taco, a half dozen shrimp, the regular guacamole and the aguachiles verdes. The Gobernador was a large size - really more like a mini quesadilla than a taco in my mind. It was flavorful and filled with seafood. The half dozen shrimp were cooked well, but a little hard and messy to peel. The guac was good, a little oily but tasty. The aguachiles were really good but borderline too spicy for me. The spice continued to build as I ate them and it did feel less enjoyable but it was good to start. My main grievance with this restaurant was how loud it was. I was yelling and struggling to hear what my friend or the waiter said, but the food was delicious. Maybe if it were less crowded it would be ok, but definitely not a great atmosphere for having a conversation.

Having never tried tamales before, I was pretty eager (thanks to her positive comments). We sampled both the adobo ($2) and birria ($2.5) tamales, and they were absolutely amazing. Personally, I found the adobo tamale to be slightly better in terms of flavor but both were equally well made with its rich, flavorful seasoning. My sister, who has tried tamales before, mentioned that these were even better than the ones she got from the random tamale table (near Woodside), thanks to the diverse flavor options available and how fresh they came out. The customer service here was exceptional. A friendly lady approached us, handed us menus, and took our order with a warm smile. Even though tipping isn't required, their service went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcome. We also couldn't resist trying the birria taco ($4), which arrived piping HOT. It was generously stuffed with birria, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. While it was a tad salty for my taste, my sisters thoroughly enjoyed it and had no complaints. Our total order came out to a little less than $10 for three people, which was perfect for a light snack before heading home for our protein dinner (get that protein intake in! EEEEEEEEEE)

Located underneath the subway lines and is just a grill on the sidewalk, they have a little table/seating area and has a unique menu. I ordered the Tlayuda, which is like an Oaxacan pizza(?). Set on top of a large and crispy tortilla, it's coated with beans, cheese, tomatoes, avocado and an assortment of different meats like grilled steak, ground pork, and grilled pork. It was really tasty and I loved the crisp tortilla underneath. Definitely a dish to share because it's huuuuuge. Cash only!

I had read about Oaxacan tlayudas, large crisp tortillas coated with a layer of mashed black beans and sprinkled with savory toppings, while trip planning, and I was intrigued. I noticed the Sr. San Pablo cart advertising tlayudas when I was at Corona Plaza a few weeks ago, and prioritized a return visit. Since then, I've tried a steak taco and the combination meats tlayuda, and both were delicious. The steak taco had juicy and well-seasoned meat, a flavorful tortilla, and amazing spicy sauce. The tlayuda was large enough for 2-3 people to share. In addition to the large base tortilla and bean spread, the combination variety had chorizo, steak, and seasoned pork (the best) for the meats, stringy Oaxacan cheese, tomato, and avocado. There were red and green salsas and escabeche pickles available for garnishes. I would have liked a little lime to add some sparkle to all of the savory flavors. There are 4 small stools and a covered table next to the cart to sit and eat, but I can't imagine it'd be a fun experience in bad weather. Definitely check this place out.

All three tacos were impeccable. I will give special mention to the chorizo. It had a very different flavor from other choris I've eaten. It was even, fatty, rico, and flavorful. I chatted with them about that, and it turns out they make their own. The cabeza (beef cheek) also deserves a mention. Just like the chori, it was perfectly seasoned without being over-seasoned. In that way, it was very much like provincial cooking. The cabeza was super velvety, stewed... just perfect. The location is a storefront in Queens, and it's exactly what you should expect from a family storefront in Queens. You're not going for fine linen. You go for the finest NYC Mexican food. And you're also going to get a bons serving of the friendliest people on Earth. We loved every second. It helps to know Spanish. Don't be all pissed off if you don't and you can't keep up.
