Ate there today for lunch and dinner after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q. I had brought and ate the carne asada with a cold glass bottle of Mexican soda I chose which is fruit punch and got the tres les leches for dessert. It had definitely tasted great and delicious. The service there was also attentive and friendly and many thanks to my server named Silvia and she was nice. I couldn't agree more! Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

This cute little taco spot is on 30th Avenue; conveniently located a few blocks from the n/w 30th Avenue train stop. We loved everything here! Their menu is massive. Their prices are so good and their food is simply amazing. We shared the steak nachos and the chicken tostadas. Both were so flavorful and just delicious! The nachos were cheesy and packed with steak. The tostadas were crunchy and full of beans and chicken; just the way I like them. My friend got the shrimp tostadas. They weren't cheap on the shrimp. Everything was good portions. The girl was super attentive and the service was great. They don't have a bathroom but they do have a public sink you can use to wash your hands. This place definitely deserves this five star review! I would definitely come back here again and again!

A great local spot with amazing Mexican cuisine! I ordered the lunch special with chicken and it hit the spot. Bonus points for being affordable too!

Hidden gem in Astoria. Very flavorful Al pastor tacos, spicy salsa was great. One of my top NYC tacos by value

One of my two favorite spots to get quesadillas in NYC is at Orale!! Tacos!! in Astoria, Queens. This hole-in-the-wall type of spot is one you don't want to miss!! It's drizzled in cheese sauce and the size of it is generous too; not to mention, it comes with chips at no extra cost. All for $9.99! I also love their Tres Leches cake here, which is milky, creamy, soft, and flavorful, and is a bang for your buck at $4.99. Such a delicious meal, with generous portion sizes, all at a great cost. Can't beat a deal like that! Their service is always quick and friendly too!

I ordered the lunch special (beans, rice, salad, protein of your choice, with fries or tortillas) with chicken and tortillas. The tortillas were fresh and warm. The chicken was good and tender and I made little tacos with all the ingredients. Everything tasted great and cost around $14 (with a Diet Coke).

I always order the Chorizo Quesadilla and the Elote! Both are packed with flavor and when i feel like treating myself, i also get the Chips & Guac The portion size is incredible as well The service is amazing and they never miss! I highly recommend this place 100%~

Basically a Quesadilla is a flat fully loaded taco - and Oracle Taco sure can make one heck of a quesadilla - I also love the way they present the order with some nice delicious chips on the side . The rice and beans have such an authentic taste - yum yum yummy !

Really like this place and will be stopping by here whenever I go to Costco. The food came out fast in about 15 mins. The prices are great and it's tasty. I was surprised by their beans because they were flavorful and that's a must with beans. I had the tongue taco which was good but a little dry the chicken taco was wonderful and simple. I love tacos with plain old onions and cilantro, they also had a green sauce which was amazing. My bf had the steak burrito it came with a few chips and a small side of salsa which was really cute. The GUAC was the star of the show, so so fresh. Probably some of the best guac I've had in a while, knocks chipotle's guac out of the water. The salt level was wonderful not overly salty which is usually the problem with guacamole. All in all it's a great place and I'll def be coming back!

Loved this place!! We ordered chips with guac, carnitas quesadillas, and carnitas tacos. Everything was really good! The guac tasted super fresh and we got a good amount of it. The quesadillas and tacos were both really great too. They have a small outdoor seating area which was really nice. My only complaint is I find the tiny side of sour cream for $1 a little crazy. That doesn't even matter much since the food was so good and the girl at front was very nice! Definitely will come back

I finally came here after walking past this restaurant many times, and I was not disappointed! The food is fresh and the service is fast. I really enjoyed my meal and I've been back many times after. My favorite is their steak burrito, it's very filling! The burrito comes with a few chips too.

My friends and I ordered frozen margs (which were only $6 each because apparently they have happy hour almost everyday all-day) which was served with a yummy spicy rim of chili and salt. They also provided a small tasty appetizer of chips served with black beans and cotija. When it came to the food, I ordered chicken fajitas that were served hot and sizzling with a side of tortillas, green sauce (I'm assuming tomatillo?), and sour cream. The chicken had a nice char on it, but wasn't dry. My entree and drinks came out quickly, and the entire meal cost me less than $30--a bargain in NYC. Now, I'm raving about it to all my friends, and next time we need a drink after work, I'm dragging them there.

However, our experience took a turn when the new management took over. Initially, the new owner and management were great, and we continued to return, even recommending friends to join us. However, things changed when they updated the menu and handed out an outdated version upon placing an order. To our surprise, we were shocked by the noticeable price increases upon checking out. We questioned the correction, but instead of addressing our concerns, we were simply given the new menu with the updated prices. I'm certain that we had received the old menu before the price changes. By the way, happy hour is until 5 p.m. compare to other restaurants it's until 7 p.m.

I had high hopes for this place because every time I pass by it's busy inside. Went there after an…read moreappointment around 2:30 PM on a weekday and they had a study stream of takeout & delivery workers going in and out. I actually wanted their combo ($12) taco platter (3 tacos, Rice, Refried beans), but the choices for the tacos were chicken, pork, beef. The other combo that looked interesting was a beef taco, chicken fajita, and something called a sincronizada (ham & cheese pressed between 2 taco shells), & rice & beans. But their iPad system didn't have that (even though the paper menus did). I probably could've just ordered it with the cashier. I got ($13 Total) two tacos, beef tongue & al pastor ($4.50 each) & a side of rice ($3). The portions were very generous, and the first few bites things tasted good but a few more and I noticed that everything lacked flavor. The beef tongue was the best item, there was a salty sear on one side, but the pieces weren't as tender as other restaurants'. Maybe it was frozen and he didn't have time to defrost it? The al Pastor was chopped up meat bits with NO flavor. The pineapple and onions were nicely, finely chopped, but I didn't even finish half of these tacos. The rice had peas, corn, carrots, and string beans & big fluffy grains. At first it was tasty, with maybe hints of bullion and tomatoes; but after a few bites, it started reminding me of cafeteria rice & had a bit too much oil. It seems like a popular place, a mom and her kid came in for tacos after school, local workers and contractors who seem to know the staff and delivery guys, came in for their lunch. Maybe I didn't order the right items, or these type of tacos are more popular on the weekend. I also wonder that since I'm not a local or of the background, there isn't as much care put into my food. One contractor yelled "China! [cheena!]" to the staff as he walked in. Was I supposed to respond "Mexicanos!" LOLZ. I hope they do well though they seem like a neighborhood staple.

It's easy to miss & for me the name ("cafe") doesn't seem like large platters homestyle food, tacos, tamales, giant bowls of soup, many types of champurrado / atole de maiz. But EVERYTHING I've had so far here has been delicious & I want to go here with someone familiar with the cuisine because I'm sure that I'm missing out. The staff is very friendly. I think there's a few sons/cousins that are sometimes there & bring some of that young energy too. The wall menus are a bit hard to figure out & I think there's more options than they list. I saw a lot of people eating mole with rice & beans, and enchilada-type of hot plates, sizzling pieces of beef too, large bowls of soup. The steam tables are probably the best options for specials of the day - stewed chicken, different kinds of beans, etc. I should point & order next time. Have had: Suadero Tacos - melt-in-your-mouth tender beef (longer wait than other meats) Al Pastor Taco Pozole (soup): Red (slightly spicy) & White Versions. Comes with diced radish, lettuce, lime wedge, & tostada (I asked for 2). Red was better. White had a lot of pork belly fat-only chunks on the day that I went. (MUST like Mexican oregano with this soup recipe!) Champurrado: a hot corn flour drink with panela, cinnamon; other stuff. Could be a breakfast replacement. Horchata: just okay, realized that I like the Salvadorian version better. Might have had chicken tacos for a late first meal of the day & think was really delicious; but now a low-sugar memory Want to try: -Strawberry Atole (another hot corn flour drink recommended by the girl at a taqueria closer to me - where they don't make it) Overheard someone mentioning a Goat dish (maybe weekend only). Barbacoa Tacos anyone?! Chorizo Dorados sound awesome. Not sure what region/city honors are from, I wonder if they would ever make shrimp Baja-style Dorados (ie. LA Food Truck). Oh & def should try the Cafe de Olla (coffee with panela/cinnamon/spices) ... but bring my conchas from M-sa Madre Bakery. There's about 15 tables inside, family-friendly, solo workers eating lunch; Weekend couples, Grandpa bringing grandson for some soup. Cases filled with pan dulce up front also. The action figure collection on the front right wall is a super nice touch! To Yelp Reviewer who wrote that this place doesn't include avocado or guacamole with tacos: I don't think tacos normally come with avocado OR guacamole (depending on region & some places here probably add to appease Americans). $19 for FRESH 3-4 items (TONGUE!) is excellent.

This spot is so good it gets packed on weekends, but you can secure a table while waiting on line. The atole de fresa was not too thick and hit the spot on a warm sunday morning. Unlike their sister taco stands out where things were cheap and open late, this location featured an expanded menu, colorful decor, and even accepted credit cards. Unfortunately the experiment doesn't appear to have lasted long, as they closed up late last year / earlier this year. Like many stores along 36th Ave, the space was small but quaint. They were big on togo orders, but the handful of tables was just enough for a group lunch or intimate dinner. The vibe is a complete departure from their other locations, and one that this part of the neighborhood could have benefited from. While the location and storefront made them different from their stands, so too was the food. It wasn't bad but also was very on par with the sub-NY standard of Mexican fare. The breakfast plates felt average, enchiladas were very bland, and the tacos were not at all similar to their other spots. Seafood was also not their best showing, and their tortas and burritos were less than memorable. I did like their aguas frescas and sincronizadas, as those were the safe bets. __________ (#1) Taco Brasserie: https://www.yelp.com/biz/taco-brasserie-astoria
