I was craving some tacos and knew some of the best taco spots were in this area. This restaurant isn't big inside but still has plenty of seats inside. You basically pick any open table and the staff comes to take your order. Although much of the menu was in Spanish, there is enough English to know what you're getting. While you're waiting for your food, complimentary chips is provided along with a really spicy salsa (but it was really good too). The tortilla chips were very fresh and crunchy. There's tons of options to choose from but I opted for the tacos, tostada, and sopes. I got beef tongue, roast pork, goat and chicken as my meats for the different items. The tacos come with choice of meat, onions and guac over 2 soft tortillas. The tostadas has those AND beans, lettuce and sour cream, same for sopes. They were all really good and packed with plenty of meat! I would definitely recommend getting authentic Mexican food from here! There's a wide variety of food to choose from and the prices are definitely affordable. Make sure to bring cash but there is an ATM inside.

After arriving from school in wanted to order my favorite dish tostadas for take out. After srriving home and esting a portion i noticed mold on the cheese. And the service it terrible! Its not shocker the women there have a crazy attitude! If u try to order your food through the phone you can hesr their careless attitude. I dont recommend this place and i will be contacting someone.

Oh my goodness, where do I begin. This place is out of this world. The tacos tasted beyond delicious. It was beyond flavorful and the portions where plenty. The menu is very ample and the prices are reasonable. I tried the tacos al pastor and the meat was so tender and full of flavor. Felt like I was at my grandmas house. The staff was extremely nice. Parking can be hard to find but it's worth it.

    Tres tacos!

awesome fast casual taco joint in corona right by the 7 train. substantial double layered tacos for $3 each. the signature "beef al suadero" (nicely grilled beef that has a slight crisp to it) is the way to go. chicken and al pastor are decent as well. they also include guac with no upcharge, which is pretty cool and not what you see at most americanized taco places. nice hot sauce as well that isn't too strong. highly recommended.

Delicious tacos for a very affordable price. They're $3 each and are big. Our favorite are the beef tongue and suadero! The only down side was that they didn't have guac the day we went. The steak cemitas was really good too.

These was worth the trip to Queens from the island

The fresh orange juice and enchilada are awesome! The red sauce is spicy. Try with caution :)

The menu is entirely in Spanish but the waiters can help if needed. We ordered the Gobernador taco, a half dozen shrimp, the regular guacamole and the aguachiles verdes. The Gobernador was a large size - really more like a mini quesadilla than a taco in my mind. It was flavorful and filled with seafood. The half dozen shrimp were cooked well, but a little hard and messy to peel. The guac was good, a little oily but tasty. The aguachiles were really good but borderline too spicy for me. The spice continued to build as I ate them and it did feel less enjoyable but it was good to start. My main grievance with this restaurant was how loud it was. I was yelling and struggling to hear what my friend or the waiter said, but the food was delicious. Maybe if it were less crowded it would be ok, but definitely not a great atmosphere for having a conversation.

Having never tried tamales before, I was pretty eager (thanks to her positive comments). We sampled both the adobo ($2) and birria ($2.5) tamales, and they were absolutely amazing. Personally, I found the adobo tamale to be slightly better in terms of flavor but both were equally well made with its rich, flavorful seasoning. My sister, who has tried tamales before, mentioned that these were even better than the ones she got from the random tamale table (near Woodside), thanks to the diverse flavor options available and how fresh they came out. The customer service here was exceptional. A friendly lady approached us, handed us menus, and took our order with a warm smile. Even though tipping isn't required, their service went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcome. We also couldn't resist trying the birria taco ($4), which arrived piping HOT. It was generously stuffed with birria, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. While it was a tad salty for my taste, my sisters thoroughly enjoyed it and had no complaints. Our total order came out to a little less than $10 for three people, which was perfect for a light snack before heading home for our protein dinner (get that protein intake in! EEEEEEEEEE)

I had read about Oaxacan tlayudas, large crisp tortillas coated with a layer of mashed black beans and sprinkled with savory toppings, while trip planning, and I was intrigued. I noticed the Sr. San Pablo cart advertising tlayudas when I was at Corona Plaza a few weeks ago, and prioritized a return visit. Since then, I've tried a steak taco and the combination meats tlayuda, and both were delicious. The steak taco had juicy and well-seasoned meat, a flavorful tortilla, and amazing spicy sauce. The tlayuda was large enough for 2-3 people to share. In addition to the large base tortilla and bean spread, the combination variety had chorizo, steak, and seasoned pork (the best) for the meats, stringy Oaxacan cheese, tomato, and avocado. There were red and green salsas and escabeche pickles available for garnishes. I would have liked a little lime to add some sparkle to all of the savory flavors. There are 4 small stools and a covered table next to the cart to sit and eat, but I can't imagine it'd be a fun experience in bad weather. Definitely check this place out.

We ordered pastor, chorizo, and cabeza. All three tacos were impeccable. I will give special mention to the chorizo. It had a very different flavor from other choris I've eaten. It was even, fatty, rico, and flavorful. I chatted with them about that, and it turns out they make their own. The cabeza (beef cheek) also deserves a mention. Just like the chori, it was perfectly seasoned without being over-seasoned. In that way, it was very much like provincial cooking. The cabeza was super velvety, stewed... just perfect.
