The food here was better than I expected. It's pretty legit and the restaurant is pretty spacious & comfortable. Love that you can buy frozen dumplings & XLB to steam at home. Not from around here but I'll be sure to come here again next time I'm in town. Got the Dan Dan noodle and yes it's a bit oily but flavor is good. Noodles were thick but I wish they were a bit more bouncy. Also the egg plant was good but also a bit oilier than I would hope. We decided to try this newly opened place because of a discount coupon. I ordered online, thinking it was the restaurant website and included a 15% tip. Turns out I was ordering on a third party website and paid more than if I had called in the order. I couldn't get the coupon to work, but thought I'd take care of it at the shop. At pickup I was told that I couldn't make any changes and should use it "next time." The special instructions were not followed and there was no tip on the receipt. The food was very good, ready when I arrived and hot. Very large portions; I ordered fish with black bean sauce, Mongolian beef (very spicy), garlic green beans and Egg rolls (leathery instead of crispy). There was enough food for 6 servings. No rice. The service was great and the portions are large. The decor is super cute and inviting. We live right down the street and I noticed this place finally opened when I stopped by Albertsons. We walked over for dinner and the place was so bright and clean! The service was amazing! The food came out pretty quickly and they checked on us frequently. We have 2 littles that are very messy eaters and they were so nice about cleaning up the mess they left (we cleaned up the food off the floor the best we could). We ordered shrimp chow mein, green beans and pork buns and they were all 20/10, sooooo good! And the food tasted so fresh and clean. We have been here twice since they opened a few weeks ago and have been VERY impressed each time! The first time we ordered some buns, greens and egg drop soup. All were DELICIOUS. The second time we wanted to try the noodles, eggplant entree and some dumplings again very yummy! The staff is super friendly and the location is great! I am very pleased to say that we had dinner at this restaurant tonight. We had a very nice experience from the time we walked in till the time we left. The waitperson was very friendly and was very helpful with the menu. She gave us clear information about the items on the menu and did not try to sell more than we needed. She was absolutely correct with the amount we ordered. I had dumplings with pork and shrimp. The dumplings are made in house and were delicious as is. They also have condiments for you to spice things up if you desire. My wife had Mongolian Beef and cream cheese wontons. She does not eat seafood so it was very nice to have just plan cream cheese wontons on the menu. It's been awhile since we have seen this. Also to make it even better the chef came out to check on us and make sure we were happy with our dinner. This is how you run a restaurant. We will be back soon and often Yay! read more

This place is a hit! Right in the tricity area, it was very much needed. The food was fresh, and was amazing! The service was also great - wish I got our servers name. From the time we sat down, we were in good hands. The decor inside is also super cute, all the neon lights are such a nice touch. The combination chow mein was the best I've had in a long time. So I saw many people like the Chinese food here so I was looking forward to it. the menu does not describe what the dish is comprised of. So I had questions like is the KP chicken white meat or dark meat. The employee had the hardest time figuring out what I was asking. By the third time I said white meat chicken or dark meat. He then told me white meat (perfect I will order this) rice does not come with any of the dishes so I ask it was enough for two both employee said no it was a small amt indicating the size a bit smaller the. A tennis ball. So I order two. Walnut chicken for my husband and our fav green beans with garlic. I asked for sweet and sour sauce for the spring rolls and the other employee said yes I put it in the bag. I came home no sweet and sour sauce. Kung P chicken had chewy dark meat almost no veggies and a thick glazed sauce. I could not eat it at all. The honey shrimp had good flavor said my husband but the shrimp was a little stringy and chewy. The green beans were soft and the flavor was lacking I found I needed a bit of salt and I do not eat much salt. I called the place up and the person who answered asked for the date I bought it and the order number which is I. The top left side. I had to repeat #66 at least 4 times the date two times and finally he found the order. He let me change it for orange chicken which has white meat. The orange chicken was good...Thankfully! Salt & pepper crispy ribs. Very disappointing. Only thing true about this menu item is the 'pork' in the name. It wasn't crispy, nor did it have ANY salt or pepper. It lacked the traditional flavors. Really wanted to like this place. We walked in and the place was empty but shortly after a few other families came in. We were not greeted, while the other families were. We arrived first and they did not come take our orders but continued to serve the other families. They got their orders and even brought out their drink orders all while we were still waiting to be acknowledged. We ended up walking out after waiting for 20 minutes of not being acknowledge. The food here is pretty good. Everything here is made fresh when it's ordered. So no samples. But believe me, it's worth it to have freshly prepared food and ingredients. The dumplings were good and the whole family enjoyed them. The only bummer for me was the pork bun. It's not like a typical steamed bun that you get anywhere else. Food is average. Buns are little too bready and chewy. We ordered fish soup that was very tasty. Beef broccoli tastes like any other beef broccoli. Service is very poor. Not friendly and accommodating. We were party of five and did not want us to seat in a bigger table and did not even offer us menu or drinks. So we sat cramped up in a table the seat four people when clearly nobody else on the table that can accommodate party of six. Ambiance does not feel relaxing or comfortable.
