Was craving Chinese food & stopped here after seeing great reviews. The service is impeccable, the restaurant is very clean, & the staff here really makes you feel welcomed & right at home, as they are super friendly & accommodating. The food is delicious & comes to you fresh & hot! The crab rangoons are so good! I recommend this place if you're looking for very good Chinese food. You won't go wrong dining here!

I'm not from the area and was staying at a hotel nearby , we didn't plan on going out to dinner so I started looking at DoorDash for some options. This restaurant popped up and with all the good reviews I decided to try it ! We got Family Meal A , it comes with egg drop soup , 2 egg rolls , 2 crab Rangoon and two choices for the entrees and the choice of either bbq pork fried rice or steamed rice. We chose Bbq pork fried rice and orange chicken and beef and broccoli as the options. I also wrote a note on DoorDash explaining we don't eat imitation crab and they gave us extra egg rolls instead of the crab Rangoon! The eggrolls were delicious. You can tell that they are freshly made, and not frozen ones. The bbq pork fried rice was very tasty. I really enjoyed the beef and broccoli. The orange chicken was good too. it was a lot of food for my family of three. We had leftovers another time from it as well. I was really happy with my experience, especially with getting it delivered . It seems like the service is great based off of my experience that I had and the food was fresh and good.

The curry was really watery, but it tasted delicious, not spicy even with the chili peppers sitting in it. But a good flavor and lots of chicken. The udon noodles were bland, I wouldn't get them again.

Orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef chow mein, chicken fried rice, and cream cheese wontons. Yum!

My go to Chinese takeout. I get tired of oil drenched Chinese food and it's never like that here. Fried rice is always perfect and so is the chow mein. Salt and pepper wings are a favorite, I get a side order of Kung pao sauce and put the wings in it, love it! Dumplings are flavorful and the sauce it comes with equally so. I've never been disappointed here, always happy!

Raw vegetables from the Sweet and Sour pork

Every time I go to this restaurant I get the same thing Sweet n Sour pork. Yesterday I got SnSpork with RAW vegetables. The onions, carrots, and green peppers. Called and spoke with JoJo who told me that they would let the kitchen know next time. What??? I cannot pay for food and MAYBE get cooked vegetables. No offer to reduce or any other resolve so of course, I will not be purchasing food from this China Fusion again. I started to cook them but then just ate the meat....what a waste

First time here and I'm impressed. Their vegetarian options are what brought me here. I ordered the eggplant & tofu so I could compare it to others I've had. This has good chunks of eggplant and the tofu triangles are perfectly cooked (very firm). The sauce is on the sweeter side, even though the jalapeños and red chilis are visible. Still, a good portion for takeout. My partner enjoyed the house chow mein and was exactly what he was craving for dinner.

4.6 stars for lunch today Stopped in China Fusion for lunch, located in the southeast corner strip mall at Oceanside and College. Today, I didn't want a hamburger, nor a sandwich, nor a burrito but wanted something hot and delicious. Ordered Kung Pao beef off the lunch menu for $9.95 plus tax to-go. Service was fast and ready in five minutes or less. I'm amazed how little traffic I often encounter at this restaurant location for lunch, especially the value for money when compared to other restaurants. And experience NO G.I. distress after eating. Need a change in your lunch choices? I recommend this China Fusion. In addition, this restaurant always looks clean when picking up meals.

Excellent flavored dishes here! We got the sesame chicken, house chicken and chicken broccoli, fried rice that was not too oily and chow mein was not overly consumed with cabbage. Lunches that came with the best egg flower soup yumm! All were delicious the house chicken being our favorite with a very unique flavor. Service was also great and the place had very comfy seating and was clean. We will be back for sure. Thank you

Ask the Community - China Fusion

Is there any outdoor Chinese restaurants in North County?

Staci, not that I know of but China Fusion is great for take out. Their food is tasty, quick and hot.

    Do they have congee?

    No. Sorry.

Do they have orange chicken here? And is it any good if so?

    YES!

Maybe I come from a different viewpoint as a retired chef. And ..... that being said ~ everyone at the table said they thought it was an experience. It's because the people in charge and the people cooking have Michelin training. It's because they are more than open in every area, to growing. I'm building a Restaurant Community, and so are they as they educate you about the many intricacies of the beautifully plated food. I must say all of us we're totally impressed at their new $100 dinner. We came in to just get a meal and within minutes we all agreed to go for the $100 choice. Debbie says: "I know they said 4 or was it five courses, but this is certainly way beyond that. I've stopped counting the number of courses". I will give you a little 'sneaky peaky' in the pictures. And I do agree it's an abundance of food and an abundance of flavors. One word of caution: do not go here for regular American Chinese style food. That's not what this is. It's way better, certainly than anything we get in San Diego called Chinese. I normally share comments in this space from the people I eat with. But this time around (since they're always changing up the menu) I don't think would be fair to you. If I talk about a dish that is unbelievable, an incredible combination of flavors (which most dishes are) you'll go in and want to order and it will no longer be on the menu because it's "chefs choice" for $100, with the waiter asking what your preferences from the menu are. So I will hold back a little in details. What I will say is this: you should absolutely try this restaurant once. And if you can afford it, invest in the $100 experience. Otherwise ask them for the top 3 dishes people have ordered and enjoyed the most. Last recommendation (because they've had it on the menu for a while, always equally good) "Don't miss the duck". The next day I was reheating leftovers (4 containers of leftovers) and still thoroughly enjoying their food and 'wow'd' by how they carefully cut the meat (not just the duck). Wines are pricey right now. But they're working on it. With garlic, gusto & gratitude, Chef Marian San Diego & Carlsbad Foodies

DONGPO PORK BELLY with tallegio-scallion polenta cake and daikon was a confusing. I love pork belly. I love grits. but in the dim lighting, it was hard to distinguish contrasting flavors and textures. I needed more visual clues. I did not properly visualize the dish until we got home and posted photos that were light-adjusted. the duck was a survey course of five regions. Lanzhou: AROMATIC CHILI and DUCK FAT condiment was one of the five regions from the duck series. server recommended as an add for the other four regions, but portion was insufficient for two, much less the other four. Guangdong: DUCK NECK CONGEE (duck-rice porridge with duck-skin cracklings and puffed wild rice). It was a lot more complex and interesting than I would have guessed from the menu description. really quite good. Shandong: caramelized honey crisp apple, parsnips, smoked bamboo, and crispy duck crackling. a muddled and incohesive dish. no center to hold things together. more quiet cacophony than robust harmony. Sichuan: Zhangcha jasmine tea smoked DUCK BREAST with charred scallions and duck jus. perfectly cooked, gorgeous presentation, but underseasoned. would have appreciated a sprinkling of flake salt and cracked black pepper to finish. the Hong Kong BREAD PUDDING with coconut-caramel sauce fell short. I'm a huge bread pudding AND caramel fan but was just okay. genius concept but for me, their reach as often as not exceeded their grasp.

We started with the spicy pot, which came out bubbling hot and packed with ingredients. It had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the flavors were rich and savory. It had a strong cumin flavor, which makes this dish pretty authentic. Get this dish with rice, the sauces goes well with it. The soup noodles with fried pork were super comforting. The broth was light but flavorful, and the fried pork added a really nice crispy texture that balanced well with the noodles. My nephew likes noodles but without alot of flavor so this dish was perfect for him. The fried dumplings were crispy on the bottom with juicy filling inside--exactly what you want. We also got the steamed chicken with chili oil, which was tender and coated in that classic fragrant, slightly spicy chili oil that adds so much flavor without being too heavy. The green onion pancake was another favorite--crispy, flaky, and airy. It tasted freshly made.
