Lunch comes with soup or salad. I prefer the salad with house dressing.

Came here with a coworker for a lunch meeting. We hadn't had the opportunity to review the menu so I asked the waiter to give us a moment and the rest of the time there the waiter wouldn't look at me. The food on the other hand was fantastic! We had the Bo Bo Platter to start with, which is great if you want an appetizer but don't know what you want. Then I had the Mango Chicken. I enjoy this dish as it is lightly breaded. I prefer to be eating the chicken instead of a bunch of breading to fill me up. #thanksunclejoe

I really loved the hot and sour soup. That was my favorite part of the meal. I ordered the pon pon chicken lunch special, "super spicy." I really appreciated that the chicken was actually spicy for me. It would definitely order the spice level again since I like spicy food. The chicken was a little tough to eat because it was so crispy on the outside. The sauce on the chicken had a really good flavor- it was more of a spicy and sweet sauce. If I were to come back I would definitely order this meal again.

We've been getting take out from Joy Luck for years! They are hands down some of the best egg rolls I have ever had consistently. The cream cheese wontons & the fried pot stickers are crispy and delicious. The fried rice is good, the cashew chicken, beef and broccoli are all pretty standard. A great local business to support. The staff is always very nice and friendly. The Thai tea is usually a hit or miss. Sometimes they make it too sweet but when they make it well it is hands down the best Thai tea in town. I highly recommend trying out their lunch special. It is a good deal for the price.

Came here for lunch on Saturday about noon. The restaurant was empty when I was seated, but a few families came in during lunch. I had the hot and sour soup, which was good. I added on cream cheese wontons, which were okay. Sandy location seemed to make theirs from scratch, which rocked. I then had the lettuce wraps. They were kinda tasteless. The sauce was a mix of ponzu sauce. A thick plum sauce or any thick sauce to help keep everything in the wrap would have been great. The sauce just ran out of the holes in the lettuce. Service was fantastic. She was quick to refill drinks and was around asking if I needed anything else. She was great!

    Tangerine chicken. Like jerky.

I went into the restaurant at 7 PM to pick it up and she said, oh yeah, it's ready. I forgot to call you. So not real impressed tonight with the service. Hopefully the food makes up for it.

Great spot for some Chinese food…read more I was visiting some friends in Utah and they were really excited to take me to this restaurant. They said it was their favorite in town and that I just had to try it so I was really excited for it. When we arrived, we didn't realize, but it was prom night and so a lot of kids were dressed up in there prom outfits. Because we made a reservation, we were seated quickly. The server was really friendly and very helpful, very knowledgeable of the menu. We decided to do it, Family style and ordered a couple different things to share. We started off with an order of their Dumplings, then ordered cashew nut chicken, beef, and broccoli, and fried rice. The Dumplings were really big and fresh, so that was super good. The flavor was really nice. The cashew chicken was so good! The sauce that they used in the flavors were really good. The beef and broccoli was also yummy. The sauce with the seasonings that they chose, tasted like your traditional beef and broccoli. The fried rice was also very traditional. Definitely something you would expect. Overall, all the food had really great quality and tasted exactly how you would think so. I definitely think if you're looking for Chinese food in Utah, this is a great place to start.

Maybe they chose the colors to attract customers, who knows? Now on to the food, the prices are amazing! Oh one more thing I am Chinese and grew up eating authentic Chinese food. So I would say I'm pretty familiar with authentic and Americanized Chinese food. The popular dishes are the two combo plates. One side with two entrees is 6.25 and the size is the togo boxes with three sections. They also have another combo that comes with one side and three entrees. I think it was a dollar more, not sure? But still a great deal for such a large portion. I got the one side with two entrees, my side was the vegetable lo mein and my two entrees were the beef with string beans and sesame chicken. I was able to get a fresh batch of beef with string beans, yay! The flavor was tasty, but the beef was definitely cheap because it was chewy. My husband also got a different dish that included beef and his was also chewy. The sesame was eh, it tasted more like sweet and sour. I am a huge fan of hot and sour soup and I have tried many different ones. Their hot and sour was okay, it was kind of sour but not spicy at all. It needed a bit more flavor. I didn't hate it and I would go back if I were craving hot and sour, which is common for me haha. I definitely plan on going back to try their non combo dishes. They had many other options which is a plus for such a small place. Overall the food was decent and the workers are nice!

If you have never been there ask to see his book of money notes he has collected from folks around the world who have eaten at his place. Right now as of 03.22.2026 there is a bit of construction that is going on, but that is temporary. The pictures that are hanging up all over the walls is great art and they are for sale as well, it gives the to the atmosphere. You will not be disappointed to eat here. 5 of my closet friends and Myself who ate there yesterday (03.21.2026) had never been here ever. We decided on a whim to try it. We read a few of the online reviews and said why not. We were not disappointed at all that we went. The Owner and again the Chef was hopping from table to table chatting with folks about one thing or another. His Introduction is priceless to those who have never been there. ( I will not ruin it for you ). I would make sure to bring a little bit of cash with you as it is not inexpensive I paid for myself and one other in our party and it was 114$ without tip , but it is well worth it the $$$. Please if you are looking for a great steak house then give this place a try. I would post pictures of the food but that never seems to look pretty after you have taken a few bites so sorry folks no pictures from me.
