Some good, some okay. We met here for lunch one day. We started with the crispy coconut shrimp which were good. I had a Thai ice tea which was on the sweeter side. I always like to start Thai restaurants off by trying pad Thai, feels like it's the best way to get to know them. Sadly I was underwhelmed. My mom had the pad see ew and it was much better. We received complimentary salad to start and fried banana for dessert. Those were both good. Not sure I'd go back. But there are many other items to choose from. My friend enjoyed his salmon bento box fwiw.

I normally go to their other location in Layton called 99 Thai Fusion and has been my favorite lunch, usually a couple times a month. This location has the same menu but much bigger dining area. My favorite meal is the green curry chicken, hot & sour soup and I like the heat level 3 just hot enough to break a small sweat. Lunch comes with the entry, soup choice, egg roll, salad, rice and a one-ton. Everything is good, check this place out you wont regret it.

Staff was very nice! But running around trying to wait on everyone. It was quite busy and it seemed like only a few wait staff. Restaurant was clean. Fresh Spring rolls were huge and cut like sushi which worked until food fell out the back, I'd still get them again. Crab cream cheese wontons were as good as other Asian restaurants. Pad Thai was a disappointment sadly. It didn't have any taste and noodles were all stuck together. Not No1... but a nice restaurant with a huge menu in Bountiful.

First time here and really enjoyed the ambiance and food. Service was great, food was great. Will definitely be coming back. They offered sushi on our visit ...seems like that's only offered on certain days. We had the drunken noodles (pictured), sweet and sour chicken (no picture) ...both very good. The sweet and sour chicken was so tender and flavorful.

We were excited to try a new Thai place in town! Overall, it was decent. No better than Thai in Town. Service: Service was good. Our food came very fast! They forgot my husband's Thai tea but brought it out a minute later as soon as we mentioned it. Ambience: I like the decor, there are many booths which give it a private feel. The napkins are folded nicely. It feels like some care was taken. Not a huge fan of the pop music playing the whole time but that's normal for many restaurants I feel. Fun how we had flowers on our noodles! Food: Drunken noodles: Normally a dish with some spice, I asked for a 2 on the 1-5 spice scale. I'm pretty white and even I tasted absolutely zero spice. Other than that, the flavor was decent. Chicken was a bit dry. Pad See Ew: Again, decent flavor, and we are all of it. Chicken and veggies a bit tough. There is a larger amount of food than the photo appears, as the plate is like a bowl in the middle. Both dishes were around $16 and came with a small side salad. My plate had a fairly large chip in the side which I feel like should no longer be used to serve customers. Thai tea: Good overall. It was very sweet, and looked like a lot but a lot of the glass was filled with ice, as you can see in the photo.

We were excited that another Thai place opened in south Davis County, as we always go into SLC for Thai (our one experience with Thai in Town was horrible). Sadly, I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place again (or would try the sushi next time). After a day of skiing, we ordered delivery, which was easy and the order was accurate. The strangeness started when we opened the boxes and discovered that the spring rolls were not cut, but were in 2 giant logs! Haha. Even after cutting them, they needed 2-3 times the amount of sauce that was provided (same was true for the satay). Chicken was pretty bland and not seared well. Overall, the food was under-seasoned, under-sauced, and over-priced. But the spring rolls tasted great and clearly was a huge amount of food- so just ask for extra sauce if you get those.

    2. Mango with Sticky Rice

First time coming here and everything was so amazing! The decorations and everything inside is so pretty and all the food was amazing. We got a coconut boba and real coconut for drinks, red curry and pad thai for entrees. I've tried pad thai at 4 other thai places and this was by far the best pad thai i've had. We ended things with the mango sticky rice. All of the food and drink we tried were amazing. The service was fast and the workers were so sweet. Sadly I only got a picture of the sticky rice because I wasn't planning on leaving a review but everything was just so amazing I had to make sure I made it known so other people could go and enjoy this place :)

This place has a large menu and more than just Thai food. I definitely want to try more dishes here, since there are so many options! I didn't enjoy the dish that I ordered - I thought I would try something new and I got the Thai Sausage. It was very bland and odd to eat. It just seemed like separate items on a plate that weren't meant to be eaten together. I wish it had some sort of sauce on it. My friend enjoyed her mango dish and it was really pretty! My other friend just ordered simple fried rice and she enjoyed it as well! This is the old Sizzler restaurant and they have decorated it nicely inside. They have some pretty artwork up and they kept the large booths.

    Lovely Presentation!

We're still looking for authentic Chinese in Utah, and maybe this will be the one we'll need to settle on. We've tried them all. However, this was new to us and highly recommended by friends. So we went w friends (who are also still looking for authentic out of this world Chinese cuisine). It was a 45 min drive but all in all I'd have to say it was very good. Hence the 4 star rating. The service, however, was a 5 star! We tipped on that!!! We went once, trekking w same friends, made an online reservation for 4:30, got there and there wasn't a soul in sight! We waited for an hour thinking WE made a mistake. Nope. It was closed! So we headed to the Mandarin. It was sub par at best and to honest, just terrible. All the sauces were "gloppy" and not a lot of flavor. We're probably what most consider to be "food snobs" but we're ok with that! We don't mind a high price tag when it's excellent cuisine. But not ok when the food and service is mediocre at best. Lest I digress! Anyway, Thai Fusion, I'd give a thumbs up if you want something better than most around this state, different than P.F.Chang's or your typical and fast food fare.

Wanting to try the "new kid on the block", we decided to forego one of our tried and true places for a weekend lunch and popped into No. 1 Thai Fusion. As I entered the long corridor to the host's desk, my sense of smell was wakened by a strong odor of what smelled like movie popcorn, and I thought "it smells pretty oily in here". I almost turned around and left but decided to carry on with our plan to eat there. We were seated in a booth by the window and we're presented with the menu, which featured lunch specials as well as the regular dinner menu items. The lunch specials were what we were drawn to, as the regular menu items seemed to be a bit pricey at around $20 each. The lunch specials were priced at $11.99 and included a soup; either hot and sour or coconut, an egg roll, a salad and a main course. The main course choices were mainly curry dishes, green, red, yellow, parang and massaman while there were several Chinese items like seeet and sour chicken and other American style Chinese lunches. My wife and I went for two different curry options, I the Penang and my wife the green. The nicely presented dishes were quickly delivered to our table on large ceramic plates which featured the main dish in a shallow bowl and also the egg roll with sweet sauce and a mound of white rice. A shredded iceberg lettuce and purple cabbage, with a sweet vinegar dressing was served on the side. The curry dishes were very similar in taste, both featuring coconut milk as the main ingredient with little flavor from the respective curry styles. Based in other curries I've had in Thailand and in the US, they were unremarkable. In addition to the coconut flavor, they had a lot of zucchini and sweet red peppers alongside a few pieces of boiled chicken. The egg rolls seemed undercooked and doughy and the sweet sauce was typical for American style Chinese places. They also served a fried won ton wrapper which was really oily and flavorless. The salad wasn't anything special either. All in all, the food was fresh but not authentic and I'd question whether any Thai chefs were actually working in the kitchen. So, sad to say, I'll not be dropping in anytime soon to revisit Thai fusion. I suppose for some folks, it will hit the mark but not for me.

The remodel of this building was nicely done. The menu has many different options from Thai, to Sushi, to Phó, and a kids menu. We love Thai, so we mainly came for that but our daughter loves Phó and it was great that they had that option too. The Drunken Noodles were amazing! The Phó surprisingly had great flavor. The Pad Wun Sen was tasty too. We did order sushi also, this was so so. They could improve the roll options (some without shrimp). And the amount of rice in the nigiri was too much and hard to eat in one bite. Looking forward to going back to try the Pad See Ew and chicken satay. The execution of the service needed a little work. We had to ask for chopsticks and soy sauce dipping bowls which I believe should be a provided without asking at an Asian restaurant. However, our server was great and attentive! I would give them 5 stars with improved sushi.

Went here with some friends to try a local Thai Restaurant. It was terrible! This location is huge, so many tables. It looked like there was a sushi bar as well. I couldn't find sushi on the menu though, so maybe it's only operating on certain days or times. All meals are served with a side salad with a peanut type dressing. This dressing was really good! I really liked this salad. One of my friends ordered the crab & cheese wantons & he really liked them. I ordered the Veggie Lo Mein. It was probably the best dish out of all of them. The sauce was very flavorful like normal Lo Mein noodles are. My sister ordered the Drunken Noodles, with a spice level of 4 out of 5. It was so terrible! It had zero spice level & just tasted like vegetable oil. It was so oily. She didn't even end up eating this because it was so bad and flavorless. My friend ordered the Fried Rice & said the same thing about spice, there was zero spice in this dish, no flavoring, very bland. Other tables around us had a little spice tray that was brought out to them but we weren't offered that. I'm not sure if we were supposed to add our own spice. Seemed very odd to have to do that though. Dishes were way overpriced for what they were. We definitely would not recommend this place.

Some of the best Thai food I've had. Every single dish that I ordered was flavorful and so good. I could also tell they put a lot of care into plating and presentation. The service was a little slow but understandable since they were super busy and just opening up. The wait was definitely worth it! Highly recommend the mango sticky rice!

The one area I feel like there's room for improvement on: the portion sizes are smaller here than other Chinese restaurants I've been to in Utah, so it's not as much of a bang for your buck.

Really caters to Utah's childish palate, with bland sauces and flavorless meat. We ordered the orange peel chicken, cashew chicken, honey walnut shrimp, ham fried rice and shrimp fried rice, and all I could taste was the salty sauce. The cashew chicken was by far the most diverse plate with plenty of green beans, water chestnuts, peppers and cashews, but the flavorless salt sauce overpowered what might have been a beautiful combination. You couldn't taste any spices or herbs. I could go on. Just know it is definitely white people safe, and honestly, Panda is better.

And I'm really puzzled by the high ratings of this place here on Yelp. I had the sautéed beef, which is listed as "Sa Ti" on the menu, so when it was brought out and announced as "sautéed beef," I was a bit confused. While the vegetables were decent, the beef was tough and from the flavor was a cheap cut. The hoisin sauce was not thick enough and a bit too runny like maybe water added.(?) This also made the flavor weak. After the first disappointing bite of beef, I only picked at the vegetables. I didn't finish it nor did I ask for a take home box. In my opinion, looking over at the people at my table (I was at a club meeting), everything looked on the cheap side. They all seemed to enjoy their meals, though. The portions are huge, so you'll get a lot of mediocre food. The service was OK. We were a large party of about 45. They knew beforehand we were coming. We noticed that even though our table was first to order, we were one of the last to get our food. One person at our table got her food significantly later than we did. There was one table that still didn't have their food when we got our checks. Water refills were never checked and neither was my soda. The Dr. Pepper was good... 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
