This place deserves more reviews. Everything is fresh, portions generous, service friendly and quick. Great healthy fast food option. They have a couple outdoor tables with umbrellas that seat 4 each.

The food wasn't crazy expensive, and was good. A smart poke idea for building your own bowl. Nothing special, but would recommend

It didn't happen this time and for this I'm eternally grateful! There were several people in our party so we started with the seafood tower. It was very good and included 1 dozen oysters (pick 2 on the oyster list), 6 shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare, crab salad, and a small cup of seaweed salad. Along with came several lemon wedges, cocktail sauce, minionette, and some crispy flatbread. I didn't try the shrimp but had some of the rest and it was all excellent. For my main I opted for the Casarecce Vongole which was similar to linguini and clams (with casarecce). I'd typically think of the ridge on casarecce as holding a heavier sauce (this was olive oil based) but what the heck right? This was served with manila clams which are a little small but they were very good. The sauce was loaded with sliced garlic, some parsley, and a little red pepper flake. The meal was very good. One of the members of our party had some dietary restrictions and the staff was very good about working with her to assemble a meal that she could eat. She really enjoyed her meal as well.

Surprisingly, we wouldn't have actually needed the reservation; the place was pretty quiet for a Saturday night. Though, the college students are all gone for summer so that might play a part in it. Nonetheless. The food was DELICIOUS. The drinks were FABULOUS. We each had a few drinks and everyone seemed to enjoy what they had. I ordered the Don't Text Your Ex and that was so yummy. I loved the dragonfruit dusting on top. Our server, Scotty, kept us fed and hydrated all night. We started with 16 oysters, tried 4 different kinds, of all sizes. I wish I remembered which we did but they were all very good. Next came the calamari with hot honey. That was eaten up pretty quickly as well! Highly recommend. Entree wise, I ordered the Seared Scallops for myself, and the other party goers had the Lobster Roll (which comes hot, not cold), the Seared Tuna, and the Casarecce Vongole. Everyone was part of the clean plate club that night. All the dishes were so good I know I keep repeating myself! The bill can get pretty pricey if you're not paying attention. We will definitely be going back!

Wanted something light as this was a wellness appointment so didn't want to feel full, but also something I could eat after. So hotdogs and chowder it was. They didn't have chowder at first so went with two cheese dogs and as I was checking out they had it so bought some as well. Loved the buttered grilled buns. Dogs could have been crispier for my preference but cheese needed to be on there longer to get more melted. Good flavor with the chowder but needs more filling, I like it thick. I am not up this way often but looking forward to next time and trying something more meal like than a quick snack.

Plenty of parking, and very impressed with the outdoor seating (some covered, some exposed). Order and pay at one window. Pick up at another. Busy place early afternoon, but my wait time only about 10 minutes. Lobster roll excellent, the smallish bun being overstuffed. I ordered the onion rings instead of fries and was disappointed that they were NOT onion rings. Onion strings (or some people call them onion straws) were given. Large mass of oily straws. Open year-round, although reduced hours off-season. Interesting menu, with various hot dog, chicken, and seafood options. I would rate the lobster roll as 4.5, and the glob of onions as a 2.5. Overall, 4 stars.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, especially as someone who has to…read morefollow a strict gluten-free diet. The waitress seemed to have very little knowledge of gluten allergies or cross-contamination. I specifically informed her of my dietary restrictions before ordering. I was interested in trying the Cajun rice, and when I asked about the ingredients, she simply explained that it was rice mixed with sauce. However, after taking a bite, I realized it tasted exactly like regular shrimp fried rice, which commonly contains soy sauce with gluten. Unfortunately, I became extremely sick after eating here, and what made the experience even worse was the complete lack of concern from the staff. No one checked on me after I reported the issue, no one offered to remove the dish from my bill, and there was absolutely no effort to address what had happened other than taking the dish from my plate. Beyond this incident, I've noticed a consistent pattern of poor customer service from the waitresses here. Once customers are seated, the staff often retreat to a corner and scroll through their phones instead of checking on their tables or making sure guests are being taken care of. For a restaurant serving customers with dietary restrictions, proper knowledge of food allergens and cross-contamination should be a basic expectation, not an afterthought. This is not simply a matter of preference; for people with conditions like celiac disease, consuming gluten can have serious health consequences. Overall, the lack of attentiveness, accountability, and basic understanding of food allergies made this an incredibly unpleasant experience. I would strongly caution anyone with gluten sensitivities, allergies, or celiac disease before dining here.

This place has been a Wilmington staple since 1997, and you can tell they've spent the last nearly 30 years perfecting the craft. The atmosphere is incredible. While the original 1850s building was lost to a fire in 2010, the current space is a beautiful, faithful replica that feels historic and cozy. It's the perfect spot for a post-ski dinner or a summer night out. Here's the breakdown of what you need to order: The Chowder: This is proper New England clam chowder. It's thick, rich, and loaded with clams--not just a bowl of potatoes and heavy cream. It's the ultimate comfort food. Steamers: You have to start with the steamers. They are clean, sweet, and served the traditional way with a side of broth and drawn butter. It's a messy, delicious classic that they do perfectly here. Whole Belly Clams: These are the gold standard. They're lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and have that sweet, briny pop you usually only find at a roadside shack on the Maine coast. If you're a fan of "the bellies," don't skip these. The Lobster: I went for the steamed lobster, and it was impeccable. Succulent chunks of fresh meat and just the right amount of butter. It tasted like it was caught that morning. It's rare to find a spot that balances a "fancy night out" feel with such unpretentious, high-quality food. Whether you're a local or just passing through for the foliage, make sure you stop here.

That settled it; we had to try it. Out of sheer excitement or exhaustion, we forgot to make a reservation. I quickly remembered this mistake as we entered Hooked. People filled every table and seat at the bar. I looked at my bestie with great concern because we were anticipating our first meal of the day. The hostess welcomed us warmly, and then she asked the dreadful question, "Do y'all have a reservation?" We sadly said no, and she immediately began to express regret. Maybe it was the "Grad2026" headband or the disappointment on our faces that caused her to have pity on us because she told us to wait one second. The hostess walked to the bar, then she went to the main seating area, lastly she went next door where there's additional seating. She returned with a smile and motioned for us to follow her. The hostess found us seats at the bar! We ordered, chatted with the locals, and ate a delicious meal. We even made room for dessert which we learned was made by the owner, the hostess! Whenever we visit New Hampshire again, we're definitely stopping by Hooked!

Service was amazing with a very attentive, personable waitress who was delivering delicious drinks with lightning speed. They were pretty busy too! I had an adult iced coffee drink to get the night started with a pick-me-up, then a Cadillac Margarita to go with the delicious buttery garlicy wings, and finally the Nor'easter which is their take on a Dark N Stormy... Now onto that lobster roll... This was a great lobster roll. I like the warm/buttery kind and the toasted but was stuffed with lobster and not too much butter. I didn't need a bath afterwards is what I'm saying. I got chips instead of fries (they fries looked like steak fries which aren't my favorite) and it was a great meal! This was a casual place and they have a Hooked menu (seafood) and and Ignite menu (land food) so there's something for everyone. I'd go back here if I was in Manchester again.
