Korean hotdog
Daisy C.

Contactless ordering with kiosk outside. Wait time it about 10 mins depending how busy it is. There is no seat but they have standing tables by the wall. This is a great place to grab a quick snack to go. I like Korean hotdog and this place does not disappoint. Some of the favorites are potato and ramen hotdog with ketchup and honey mustard. The condiments are self served so you can dress your hotdog to your liking.

Great quick snack... Just wish they had some seats inside. Ordering on the kiosk outside was easy.

The line to order was super long and one of the machines broke, so it became even longer. There was only one guy working though so understandable. The hotdog itself was pretty big and filling and very delicious! We ordered the potato covered one which was pretty solid. Perfect for a pre dinner snack!

Located in the heart of Korea town and it was a treasure. They have many options of hot dogs and I decided to go for the potato hotdog because of the pieces of potato attach to the hot dog that looked so good! Once I got it, I made sure to put the sauces that Jongro had. They had sriracha mayo, cheddar cheese, honey mustard, and ketchup. The sriracha mayo and cheddar cheese were my favorite and made the dog really delicious! The potato pieces were very crispy and hot! I had to wait a while for the potato pieces to cool down because it burned my tongue! The wait for pickup was kind of long because of the amount of orders that come through. They are very busy! You can order through the kiosk or in person. Sure going to pop in Jongro to try more of their varieties and flavors!

We were tempted by the viral spiral potato and decided to give this place a try. There are a few kiosks where you can order from and then go to the back to pick up your food. The wait time was a lot, especially since it was a busy evening with a long list of orders ahead of us and only two chefs working in the kitchen. The spiral potatoes were too good. They have a wide array of sauces to put on the potatoes and we tried the boom boom sauce and the honey sauce ( I forgot the actual name). The boom boom sauce tasted out of this world. There is no seating and the ambience is pretty basic.

You can't go wrong with the crispy Korean Hot Dog! This place does a great job and I always stop by whenever I am up in NYC. Service is fast and good. The line gets busy at night so try to get it during the day. Make sure to add sugar and ketchup. That's how you eat our hot dog! It's conveniently located in the heart of Korean town on 32nd street.

Food (4/5): Got the volcano dog with cheddar for $7.49. Overall decent and a unique corn dog. The flavors and crispiness were good. My main issue is that the corn dog was falling apart because the meat was too small relative to the breading Service (4/5): Mostly automated where you order from a tablet. The food took a bit long to come out. There is some outdoor area to eat. Ambiance (4/5): A long hallway with a variety of food stalls including this place. Other nearby places include a mochi and boba spot.

Located in a booth next to mochi donut and bubble tea booths, Jongro Rice Hot Dog has a convenient kiosk ordering system near the entrance. The 3 booths are in a narrow hallway, and there are 3 seats belonging to the bubble tea shop at the entrance. There are around 10 options, and my friends got the Sweet Potato Corn Dog and Sweet Potato Mozzarella Corn Dogs. We came on a Sunday at noon, and it got busier around 1pm. The food was fried on the spot and ready in around 5-10 minutes. There are sauces you can add yourself after, such as Ketchup, Spicy Mayo, and Mustard. Positive: fast and casual for to-go or a quick bite Downside: no seating

My friend wanted to try a Korean corn dog and we saw this shop and stopped in! We've had them before where it was hot dog, cheese, hot dog, and cheese (in quarters) but this one was the first half cheese and second half hot dog. It was delicious !

First the food: I got a simple, half cheese/half sausage corn dog and enjoyed it. It's a simple meal, so don't expect anything outstanding. It was still genuinely good and satisfying. Second, the ordering process: there are three different stand within the store and they all have separate ordering kiosks (you cannot order with the staff). Just be aware and read the signs because it can be very unclear. With the corn dogs, the ordering kiosk was outside and then you have to go in the store to the respective counter. There is no inside seating, but there is some outside. There are also gloves available in case things get messy (they have a lot of sauce options which is nice). All in all. Food is good. Ordering process could be a little easier.

Korean style hot dog has been my favorite when I was growing up. I am so glad that I can find it in NY these days. I tried this hot dog in Queens and Manhattan midtown ( this particular location) but I find this location is the best. I just had one hotdog since I ate already but I used to order few and bring it home for later. This place has been very consistent with the quality and it has been my favorite Korean style hot dog spot. It does sound weird to cover it with sugar( one of the option on the kiosk) but try it at least once and you will know the difference. Korean Hotdog

Came here yesterday after work for a quick snack. There was a short line at the kiosk outside but a long wait inside the shop. I was waiting patiently even though I was hungry (secretly wishing it would be my turn soon). This is my second time here. All items are freshly made (deep fried) to order. Like they say, good food take time to cook. Even though it was freshly made to order (probably let cool for abit?) Because when I got my order and after drizzling 3 sauces (Boom boom, sriracha mayo and ketchup), I took a bite to realize it wasn't very hot. Tasted like it was there for a while. Not as crisp. The inside is still hot enough for that amazing long cheese pull. Ordered mozzarella potato hotdog. Picture on kiosk show meat inside so I was expecting the mozzarella to be wrap around the meat battered and deep fried. Instead, it is mozzarella, battered with potatoes and deep fried. Still tasted great. Suggestion: they should update the photos and descriptions on the kiosk.

Volcano hotdog is a must get! The self order machine was not that clear when it came to ordering the hotdog and clarifying whether there will be only cheese in the potato mozzarella hotdog or both cheese and the hotdog. I wished that one can customize. I would get everything on it and in it as long as it is savory. The added sugar, which was recommended, did make a nice complimentary effect to the batter on the outside, surprisingly. Potato mozzarella hotdog was underwhelming because it didn't have the hotdog in between. I do have to give credit to the stretchy mozzarella cheese though. Seating patio available outside. Condiments were available. Sriracha Mayo for the win.

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were informed there were a few levels. We went to the second floor and they were happy to accommodate us. We were rolling 6 deep and the booth was enough for us, but barely. In our party, majority of us wanted meat with the exception of 2 people only wanting shrimp and something else. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

But there's no denying that BCD has upped their soondubu game considerably in the last decade+ with a thicker, more deeply flavored broth, and now easily rivals my longtime favorite and gold standard, the OG So Kong Dong in Fort Lee. Then I stumbled into a hack that changed my view: lunch! I ducked in for a late lunch on a whim while walking by one day, and this turned out to be a much chiller hour, unhurried and no reservation needed. I was promptly seated, my order taken, and the banchan swiftly laid out. The banchan spread is solid across the board (the little fried fish does nothing for me, but seems to be a highlight for everyone else). I especially love the kimchi, near-perfect IMO, and the pickled cucumber. There's a modest lunch discount, which is a nice bonus for someone who likes to order aggressively. I usually get an oyster, seafood, or assorted soondubu (with a raw egg cracked in), danger spicy of course! Or go the C1 combo route with a galbi (marinated bbq beef short ribs) + smaller soondubu. It's an enormous amount of food, so I take most of the galbi home and feel no shame about it. The galbi, by the way, has also gotten noticeably better over the years - meatier, tender, and the flavor is on point. I've also enjoyed their bibimbap, bulgogi, jap chae, and seafood pancake. Finally, let's talk heat - this chili-head loooves fire! And BCD's danger level is one of the rare instances where the spice level actually meets my punishing tolerance for heat, not some pretense at "American spicy.," despite this being a chain. Their danger level actually means business and brings tears to my eyes, literally. It's still not my favorite place ambience wise, and dinner remains a contact sport I've mostly opted out of, as gone are the days that I can tolerate a culinary mosh pit, and any wait longer than 10 minutes (and only for a superlative place) will trigger an automatic ejection of my presence. But for lunch? Unexpectedly great. 4 stars for dinner, 5 for lunch.
