If you're driving around Vallejo and wondering where everybody is, I can tell you. They're all at the brand new Jollibee next to Seafood City. The place has been packed every day since it opened. Is Jollibee the new In n Out? Not quite, but the food is pretty good, and it's a fun place to go, especially with kids. They serve the essential American fast food staples: burgers, fries and fried chicken, but with a Pacific Island approach. The Aloha burger comes with cheese, bacon and pineapple. The fried chicken is available with different side dishes including spaghetti covered with a ketchup-tasting sauce that has bits of sliced hot dogs in it. There are some Filipino items such as palabok, a mixture of pork, shrimp and egg served over noodles. My favorite thing is the Ube pearl drink. Too bad they don't have a Super Big Gulp size. But I found the rice to smell and taste like the cheap rice in the Philippines. I don't have any problem eating even rice kept in kaldero for two days or the cheapest rice in the world. For over a month now, they haven't served any peach mango pie. What's worse is that whenever we ordered their Treat B package (which comes with 3 pies), they would offer substitutes instead. Currently in the middle of a freezing winter, they offered to substitute them with soda, sundae or pineapple juice. Short of offering dry ice to send us into complete hypothermia, these people or their management never put an ounce of thought in this. My kids love coming here. If you want to know the taste of a Filipino spaghetti, this is right place. My daughter loves their spaghetti, my older son loves their fried chicken and my middle child loves their yum burger with cheese. I can only give them 4 stars coz most of the time, they messed up my son's order which is a plain yum burger with cheese. It's either they don't make it plain or make it plain and without the cheese. One time I ordered plain cheese burger and spaghetti. They totally screwed up both orders. They didn't make the burger plain and they made the spaghetti plain (meaning no spaghetti sauce). Pinoy comfort food! CA is definitely Pinoy territory so it's not surprising to see familiar food chains from the homeland. I went there while visiting a friend and we ordered the $10 meal for two (2 orders of 2 piece chicken joy, 2 peach mango pies and we upgraded our drinks to pineapple juice). The chicken joy is as good as I remembered, however, it seems the chicken joy cuts are on the smaller side which is unusual because this is America (the land of supersize!). is it me or does every jollibees take forever to get you your food whether it's busy or not. it was my first time to this one in vallejo and it wasn't busy at all but it still took way too long to get my food. i don't know if some of the employees were off and just hanging out but there was hella of them everywhere. there were two of them choppin it up next to the trash can, two sweeping the lobby, about three hanging out by the soda machine, 1 sitting down, 17 behind the counter and about 7 cooks. maybe not that many but more than i would expect it such a small place. i had the chicken and spaghetti and it was what i expected, good like jollibees makes it. it was hot out so i got the super halo halo. i thought you're suppose to put all the stuff under the crushed ice, why was it flipped, everything was on top of the crushed ice. this was the only jollibees that did that. but i still finished most of it, all that was left was the crushed ice at the bottom. read more

Chicken is good plus burger steak. But, I think owner should rethink about pricing and their size portion. You are not in the Philippines that you can get away charging too much for so little. You cannot even get the soda with the combo price . I advise see what your competitor's have. Remember you are not only catering to Filipinos here. You might even win other nationalities.
