I have always considered Wendy's one of the better fast-food burger restaurants, which is why this experience was so shocking and disappointing. I ordered a Dave's Burger combo expecting a fresh, enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received. While drinking my beverage, I immediately noticed it had a strong taste of what seemed like liquid soap. It was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my meal. No customer should ever have to question whether their drink is safe to consume. This is a serious food safety concern that should never happen under any circumstances. To make matters worse, my fries were only lukewarm instead of being hot and fresh. When you're paying your hard-earned money for a meal, you expect it to be prepared properly and served at the appropriate temperature. Instead, I received food that felt like it had been sitting for quite some time. I work hard for my money, and I take pride in every dollar I spend. The least I expect is a meal that is safe to eat and meets basic quality standards. This experience was unacceptable, unsanitary, and extremely disappointing. It also reflects poorly on the level of attention, care, and customer service being provided at this location. Management needs to take this matter seriously. Proper food handling, drink preparation, and quality control should be a priority every single day. Customers should never have to experience something like this. I left feeling disgusted, disappointed, and questioning whether I would return to this location. They just got to remember that a lot of old people come to their place and they can't have too much sodium in their diet. Cold fries and the soda machine on the right wasn't working all that well. Probably would pass on this one in the future as there are better offerings nearby - including some non chain options. This is an older Wendy's with the glass little room - I'm not complaining here about that - its very nostalgic and I remember this from decades ago. Inside was clean enough and food didn't take too long to come up even with a line at the drive through that was all the way to the street. The biggest problem was when I took a sip of my drink the soda was warm - I think the refrigerator wasn't working on the machine closest to the counter. My second drink was cold as it should be from the machine on the left. I don't use ice so I noticed this - many probably won't. Burger was good but fries were cold. This Wendys location is located at Redwood St with a dine in and drive thru option. Drive thru has cars line up most of the time as compared to the fast food establishments next to it. Cheapest especially if you order the biggie bag in my opinion. Great price and fast service. read more

Dining room is open again after parking lot upgrade. So we thought we would try it one more time. Unfortunately the soda machine is still being used by the unhoused to fill up old dirty cups they bring in from 7-11 and other places and plastic bags that have been who knows where. Literally saw an unhoused person come in from outside put a filthy plastic bag under the ice dispenser and fill it up with the bag touching all the sides and spigot where the soda comes out. I feel for both sides of the issue and this is probably a common thing in all fast food restaurants here in Vallejo so I am just giving a heads up that the problem still exists here. The restaurant needs to either monitor the machine better and offer assistance to the unhoused by providing them clean cups or take the soda refills back behind the counter. It might help too to lock the side entrance so that they would have to enter through the main door. read more

Very near to me, the service is always spot on, the food is always great quality and the experience is always positive. My family and I have been coming to this wendys for many years now and we appreciate the quality of service it has kept up throughout that time frame. Read on, hungry Yelper! I love a good burger. I USED to love In-N-Out, though I've grown tired of it recently. Habit's good, but one week I ate there, like, twice, so it's a bit played out for me. I don't do McD. SOMETIMES I do BK. And for a good part of 2017/2018 I was at Wendy's every single week. Why? Well, their burgers are not bad at all. Not as good as Habit, but better than most other chains. You get decently cooked patties there, though the fries could be crispier. They seem to go soggy after a good couple of minutes. Hate them as you will, but McDonald's makes a solid fry. BK does too, in my opinion. But anyhow, back to the matter at hand. Wendy's burgers are good, but not mind-blowingly so. One of the things I REALLY like here is that you can order sides of cheese sauce. No other burger chain offers this. I order 2 or 3 and dip my fries in that stuff. The nuggets, eh, they're ok as well. But very affordable, so I almost always get them when I go. Love that they have a Coke freestyle machine here. Service is good as well. I've only had my order messed up 2 or 3 times, but they're spot on for the most part. This one really cute cashier even remembered that I like cheese sauce (whether that's a good or bad thing, I'm not sure). All in all... Wendy's is a bit better than middle of the road.
