Food is okay but the staff is only just passable. We came through here one night and ordered relatively simple things; fries and Frostys and iced teas. One order of chicken nuggets. We were the only car in the drive-through but the vapid attendant was so distracted while taking our order that he might as well have been doing mental calculus for as proficient as his order-taking was. He left off an iced tea, asked if that was everything after I'd waited for a while during a silent pause and told him that would be all (at which point we had started to pull away from the menu board), and I've gotten better service from self-service touchscreens. We did get everything he managed to type into the computer between probably forgetting how to breathe, so the restaurant will work at least as far as their space-cadet register jockeys are able to dictate orders. read more

The drive thru speaker is literally the shittiest fast food service speaker in all Vallejo. You have to repeat yourself several times despite being as close as possible. And I like keeping my reviews real. The language barrier is fucking annoying. I understand looking out for your own & stuff but please hire at least 1 fluent English speaking person who doesn't get an attitude when you can't understand them. Pros: Being among the top 3 fast food chains in America, Wendy's does deliver, even in an era when the calorie count charts are mandated under the new healthcare law. This facility is very well maintained and clean. The staff was helpful with very specific requests for my meal. Chicken sandwiches are always reliable. The salads are satisfying, considering the variety of dressings available. The avocado dressing is particularly satisfying. Best salad is oriental chicken salad. Cons: Being among the top 3 fast food chains in America, every Wendy's including this one will train their employees to prepare food exactly the same way. Bottom Line: As of recently, there appears to be a more conscious effort on the part of Wendy's to put together a "lean" and "heavy" calorie menu. The taste of satisfaction is still present among their sandwiches, salads and burgers. Dave Thomas should be proud of this location. read more

It must be Wendy's common courtesy now not to say anything at a drive thru, the last few times I've been at the Vallejo Wendy's Drive Thru they have been the unfriendliest and sometimes rudest people I've met they just take the debit card and don't say a word and shove the bag at you and leave. Also the fries have been limp and could use some male enhancement stuff if you know what I mean, and the baconator have been missing cheese and bacon compared to when it seemed like it first came out. I came here on my lunch break the other day. There was only one or two people ahead of me in the drive through so it was not that busy at all. My order was very simple. I ordered a Caesar side salad and a small green tea. I payed got my bag and pulled away (headed back to work with limited time). Somehow they managed to mess up my very simple order. I opened the bag to find a regular garden salad with a packet of ranch dressing. Not in any way was it even close to the one and only food item I ordered. I then grabbed the receipt to double check and the receipt even stated Caesar side salad. I could maybe understand if I ordered a bunch of food or if I ordered something with special instructions. The problem is I ordered one item and it is not even something they have to prepare. Before I go head to head with Wendy on Twitter let me tell you about this Wendy's in Vallejo. Don't plan to get your order right. Don't hope to get a receipt. Do plan to take a nap in the drive thru. Do hope to park in the middle of Redwood Street. Do plan to waste a tank of gas while in the drive thru. The wait inside in about 7-8 mins long and the bathroom is 6-10 times clean. I really don't know why the twitter account is so damn bold when this particular chain is as bad as it is. I really don't mind all the fun back and forth they have on Twitter, just make sure all your chains are as stellar as you say you are. This Wendy's is the only one in town but it's seriously under staffed and when they get busy they ALWAYS MESS YOUR ORDER UP! Always. It never fails. Don't go thru Grubhub. Typical Wendy's in a city I'd rather not re-visit. Stopped by here around 10:30pm after the Legends of Candlestick game in SF on our way home to Sacramento. There was a decent line in the drive-thru and the lobby was already closed (not surprising as it IS Vallejo). It took about 10 minutes to get to the speaker to have our order taken, but once we got that far it took less than 5 minutes to get out of there and back on the road. Usually I'd give this particular establishment an average review but after tonight that's a definite no. We had ordered a relatively small amount of items. Nothing too extravagant, no special order. As we're ordering the employee started laughing out of nowhere and asked me to repeat myself. She wasn't paying any attention to what I was saying, she was more interested in what her friends were doing. I go to pull up to the window and she starts mumbling through the speaker box so I stop and proceed when she finishes with whatever she was saying. I get to the window and they hand us our bag and as usual I check before driving off. I look inside and realize she didn't put in half of our order. I tell her that I ordered 3 6-piece chicken nuggets and she looks at the receipt basically telling me I'm wrong. What's so infuriating is that when she repeated the order back to me before I pulled up to the window it was correct. When I get to the window itself, she's in there messing around with her fellow employees instead of paying attention to other customers. Your job is to get the order from customers, make sure the order and total is correct then prepare and hand off the food to the correct customer. Not mess around with your fellow employees which in return makes for more mistakes and annoyed customers. read more

Just the usual average Wendy's. It's the only one in Vallejo and is centrally located which are definitely positives. I rarely eat fast food but Wendy's is the best tasting of all the major chains and doesn't make me feel sick and nasty making me regret it like McDonald's always does and Jack in the Box sometimes does. Worst Wendy's in the World. TWICE I have attempted to get a "fresh made" salad from this location with no tomatoes. The last time, it was ordered no tomatoes, being very clear about my allergy. I know the salad comes with tomatoes standard, because the website states it. The lady tells my husband there are no tomatoes (he was ordering for me as I was at work), since he doesn't know what it comes with, he takes her for her word. I receive it full of nearly two tomatoes worth of tiny chopped up tomatoes. I call and request it be remade correctly and get LAUGHED AT, but they agree to remake and have it waiting for hubby. He gets there, not ready. They are rude to him about it, and also laugh off the mistake that could have KILLED me (I work in a call center that is usually dark, so I was lucky I could see them before I ate any). Went to this location last Tuesday 12/15/15. I ordered a cheese burger, fries and bottled water. It was my first and ended up being my only meal of the day. I started feel nausea a couple of hours after eating the meal and by 5:30 I was vomiting repeatedly and experiencing diarrhea. I was very weak for 2 days after this incident. This was an obvious case of food poisoning. I contacted the manager of the Wendys and she offered to file a claim if I came down to the location, I am doing this today.
