    6pc Chicken Tenders

I had chicken joy cravings and decided to visit this Jollibee location with my husband. It's a closer drive than Southcenter and easily accessible via I-90. Parking is not an issue, however don't leave anything in plain sight in your vehicle, especially in this area. This location has both drive thru and indoor seating. We decided to dine in and enjoy the food while it was hot. Ordering took a little time. This was the time we found out that not all Jollibee locations have the same menu items. We were looking for the palabok combo, however was advised they don't have it. We switched orders to the 2 piece chicken joy (half regular half spicy) with spaghetti and 6pc chicken tenders. Both came with a fountain drink. The cashier advised us the order will take around 7 minutes to prepare. I grew on up Jollibee and their flavors still remain the same. The iconic savory crispy fried chicken and sweet spaghetti brings back childhood memories. The meal also came with a cup of gravy for the chicken (I refer to it as liquid gold), which is a well-known accompaniment. My husband had the chicken tenders and they were fresh out of the fryer. Service was ok. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to visit the one in Southcenter location for the added palabok option. As for indoor dining, the tables are consistently kept clean and space is bright.

My wife had been wanting to try this Asian fast food spot for a while and since they don't have these in the Midwest this was a good find. So we finally stopped in, to see what the hype was all about. Parking was easy since it's located in a large strip mall. When we walked in, we were greeted by an older Asian lady who was both kind and a little funny. There was a slight language barrier, but she did a great job communicating and made us feel welcome. We decided to dine in. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a pineapple juice, while my wife went with the two-piece spicy meal with spaghetti, adobo rice, and an ube apple pie. Everything tasted great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. One of the highlights for me was being able to buy a meal for a few Asian kids who came in from school, they were so thankful, which made the experience even better. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. The food hit the spot, the vibe was nice, and everyone we met was genuinely pleasant.

It was busier than expected inside on a Sunday afternoon. They accidentally got our order wrong and once we noticed and corrected them they have us a bunch of other food as well on the house which was super nice. The table we were at was a little messy so we wiped it off. My main focus and OG order was the KBBQ chicken sandwich. That sauce was divine. A little more cilantro than I like and I'm also just not a big cilantro fan in the first place ahaha. My side was the adobo rice which I thought was okay. My boyfriend ordered biscuits as his side. I'm usually a hater of biscuits but these were so YUM. The regular chicken tenders weren't anything special but still good. He also got ube pie as a dessert which I love how it was fried and the filling wasn't too sweet. Pretty pleasant taste. Overall it wasn't anything impressive for me but it was a fun experience.

What a fun experience. Wanted to try this new chicken place that graced this neighborhood. To my surprise I learned that Jolibee originated in Manila Philippines. I was greeted with smiles and great attitudes. I order the 3 piece fried chicken with a biscuit. I also ordered the spaghetti. Oh how could I forget the Cheeseburger lol The food is yummy!!! For $30 I received a good amount of food. The atmosphere is inviting. It was very clean inside and out. Ample parking. Very good location and easy to spot from Rainier Ave.

I would say the order came pretty fast and the service was timely and efficient. The food was decent not the best jollibee I've had. The gravy sauce is a smaller portion but overall everything was ok including their adobo rice. The ambiance was decent pretty small compared to other jollibee places I've been.

My first time ever trying Jollibee! Expectations were high and they did not disappoint here. This location is so much less crowded than the one down in Tukwila - there always seems to be at least an hour long line there. We came around 6pm on a Saturday and from ordering to getting our food it only took around 5 minutes. We got the combo with the 6pc chicken and chose spaghetti as both of our sides. For the chicken we chose a mix of spicy and original - the spicy is SPICY so beware! I don't have too high of a spice tolerance and this one definitely hit it. The flavor was absolutely delicious though, and the chicken was crispy crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The original was also good, but not as seasoned so I definitely preferred the spicy. The spaghetti was genuinely really good - slightly sweet and savory and honestly kind of addicting. I really liked the flavor combo. Of course we had to end with the peach mango pie for dessert. It was surprisingly so good, maybe even better than the McDonalds apple pie. Fried to crispy perfection, and such good peach and mango flavor. I would definitely get Jollibee again! Such yummy Filipino fast food.

Katseye meal was fire! Very well made. Spicy, sweet, tangy, garlicky, sticky and still crunchy with all that sauce! This place is very busy, be patient and kind . Try it for sure!

Edit to my earlier post: there are 6pc, 10pc, and 12.pc Chickenjoy buckets available here (6/30/24). The rest of my previous Yelp post stands.

Nice to have a Jollibee further up north! I personally don't think the fried chicken is anything spectacular but the spaghetti is phenomenal. I acknowledge the chicken is juicy and tender plus the gravy adds more flavor, but lots of chicken is similar. The spaghetti however, uses banana ketchup and hot dogs for a sweeter and more unique flavor. Interior is fairly clean and there's restrooms available with a passkey. Ample parking because it's in a shared plaza. Among 6 of us we split a Bucket C and Bucket D (22 pieces of chicken plus sides). Skip the fries, they're mid and not salted well. Get sides of spaghetti and mashed potatoes for the gravy. Mac N Cheese is not bad and worth getting but honestly the previously mentioned sides are better.

My friends got the Wild West and Yakuza Fries. Wild West was meh, Yakuza fries had a lot of the sweet chili sauce which felt a little sickening after awhile. The Sultan Fries also seemed to have a bit of that sweetness at the bottom which seemed odd to me. There were also additional sauces on the table (ketchup, ranch, and honey mustard that they call Smexy Mustard). I liked the Smexy Mustard. I think a way to improve would be to fry the fries (and breaded shrimp in the Yakuza fries) a little longer so they're crispier and can hold the weight of the sauces. The really good item though is their fried chicken. I would recommend that over the fries. Get their fried chicken!! There's a parking lot across the street. Service was very nice; seems to be run by a couple of nice young guys. The place was pretty clean with the exception of some flies that circled the air. My friend accidentally sat on a fly too.

This restaurant location has been in operation for 11 years, a dream of retired NBA and local Rainier Beach native Nate Robinson, the restaurant originally was "Nate's Wings and Waffles" to provide memorable comfort food to a diverse community. The name has changed to reflect the current ownership and operation by Nate's sister Chelle and boyfriend Drae. I was drawn to the restaurant because I was looking for a traditional breakfast spot, but was challenged to find one in the area. Drae's Lake Route exceeded my expectations. It was clear that this is a destination for locals and by the steady flow of patrons this is the place to be. Good food made to order, dine-in or take out, plus choices of alcoholic or non-alcoholic speciality drinks to round out your meal. I chose the Deluxe breakfast, which comes with 3 meats (choice of bacon, pork link sausage and turkey sausage). I chose 2 thick sliced bacon strips and 1 pork link with 3 eggs over medium and (choice of cubed potatoes or grits) I chose the cubed potatoes with a buttered English muffin. My breakfast was satisfying and the refills of coffee hit the spot. I stayed long enough conversing with local patrons to transition to lunch and chose 1 pound of naked chicken wings, tossed in habernaro-pineapple sauce. My wings were cooked to perfection and the sauce provided just enough spice to liven my tastebuds. The next day I made a return visit for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast I chose Ava's fish and grits plus buttered wheat toast 2 eggs over easy for breakfast plus coffee. As a son of the Southern United States, grits are a staple. My grits were cooked to perfection with a dollop of butter. I just added salt and pepper to taste. My catfish fillet was corn meal battered and was nicely seasoned. I later ordered the pork chop sandwich for lunch dressed (no mayonnaise), which comes with a choice of fries or kale salad. I chose fries. My bone-in pork chop was lightly breaded and fried on sliced white bread, old school! The sandwich took me back to my childhood, goodness like grandmother cooked, magnifique! My service over these 2 days has been fantastic. Chelle handles the front of the house and Drae handles the back of the house for a winning combination. Chelle manages the dining room with patience and top notch customer service, even calling customers by name. She is the epitome of a professional, even under pressure with numerous orders coming in near closing. Drae is friendly and an accomplished cook and car enthusiast, as seen by the decor in the restaurant. There is always a comforting tune playing and the venue has scheduled events featuring local musicians performing at their building next door. It is obvious the there is a lot going on at Drae's Lake Route. Check it out when in the South Seattle area. You won't be disappointed.
