Spicy chicken
Lou C.

I don't know why the 3 Jollibee's near me all have 2 to 3 star ratings? Is it because it's a fast food chain restaurant (which almost always gets low ratings)? Idk why but all I know is the spicy chicken is bussin. Also cause it's an Asian chain, they offer white rice as a side (with some banana sauce)... yum. Place is always clean and the workers are always happy and friendly.

I came in 15 min before 9pm waited inline just to tell me they don't have no more chicken. Why they can just fry more Chicken!

Wanted to try this Filipino chicken fast food establishment. I was in the mood for some fried chicken! Ordered a bucket of crispy regular chicken, filipino spaghetti and some peach pies. My number was called 10 mins later. (FAST SERVICE) OMG! Simply delicous!!!" It was definitely tasty. Each and every bite I took had no dissapointment. Good food period. This establishment will give KFC, Churches, and Popeyes a run for its money! Its definitely a must try. Place gets crowded, with influx of people in line. Good luck on getting a table. Parking is alittle tight but bearable. Good area.. you can feel the filipino culture shine in this part of town.

I was half-asleep, aimlessly cruising through Carson, desperately scanning for a caffeine hit when--BAM! Like a fried chicken angel sent from the heavens, Jollibee popped into my view like it knew I needed saving. Forget the coffee. I whipped the craziest U-turn and went straight to joy in a bucket: 10-piece spicy chicken (hello, crispy dreams), an ube pie (don't sleep on this purple magic), and a pineapple refresher that gave me main character energy. The chicken? HOT, steaming like it had somewhere to be, with that perfect crunch and seasoning that whispers sweet, spicy nothings to your soul. I went from zombie to Super Saiyan in under ten minutes. No regrets. 10/10 would absolutely get lost again just to find this magical fried fever dream.

Top tier fast food fried chicken and it isn't even close, maybe. Regardless, they have one of the best spicy fried chicken in the game. My only knock is the size of my thigh. Could be bigger but i'll take it how I can get it. The sides were cool, but nothing spectacular. Although you can argue the gravy is one and absolutely drinkable, which I can agree with. The peach mango pie is also phenomenal and highly recommended.

Was craving fried chicken and I was really close to jollibee so decided to order a bucket of 6 chickens. They were very delicious, a little more expensive than I expected - around $16? But no regrets on the chicken, it was tender, juicy, just how I liked it, maybe a little bit on the saltier side. I ordered the pineapple quench and this paired well with the fried chicken! A nice fruity drink on a hot day.

I just unwrapped this sandwich: cold bun, semi-luke warm chicken and a small slice of jalapeno.

Just purchased and the bun was cold. The fries are room temperature cold. Not to mention, its just chicken and sauce. I did not eat anything and threw everything in the fucking trashcan. How is this place allowed to operate?!

I go to this Jollibee sometime almost every year or special occassion. Overtime, my taste buds have changed but I will forever be able to enjoy Jollibee and their sweet spaghetti. Everytime I visit, there is a lot of people and the atmosphere is very nostalgic. It feels like a community of families just enjoying their time which is very pleasant. The service per usual, no complaints. The staff are willing to assist whenever and they serve the food with joy. My favorite order is the adobo rice, so savory and tangy. I also like the spaghetti, still enjoyable even with the sweet banana ketchup. If you like the sweetness with savory, you may like the spaghetti. The spicy chicken has a kick to it, but I would say it isn't as spicy as I expected. I love the ube pie and its hot, purple filling and how it melts into your mouth with the mixture of the crunchy crust of the pie. Just be cautious not to get a large amount of the filling out of the crust or it will burn a lot.

Dined in on 11/24/24 at the Carson location and I just wanted to give a big shout out to Jollibee's team member, LOUIE! He provided top notch service, he was friendly and personable as well as generous towards making sure that we received the best deals. We ordered so much and he was gracious to adjust to make sure that our order was correct as well as offer the best deals. We were so impressed by his kindness. He should be an example to all in regard to providing exemplary customer service. We enjoyed our food as always. The restaurant was clean and comfy. I also want to add that the women's restroom is maintained very well, it was clean and provided everything I needed. Clean restroom is always a plus! Highly recommend this location for service, cleanliness and quality.

Talk about a staple! I don't have a Jollibee near my hometown, so any time I travel I enjoy stopping at one. The food is nostalgic, the service is quick, and it's pretty clean every time I've been to one. One of my favorite combos includes the classic spaghetti, fried chicken w/gravy, and one of their peach mango pies on the side. If they have the spicy fried chicken, my heat lovers have got to try it. The chicken is super crispy and juicy inside, it never fails. Dipped in gravy? Even better. The spaghetti is filling, but unique and sweet. The cheese balances out the savory side and the pasta is soft and "plump" compared to american style spaghetti. It's definitely something that you can't "knock until you try it" in my opinion. The peach mango pie is crispy on the outside and similar to that of an apple pie. The peach and mango make it a slight sweeter though, but if you like those two fruits you'd love this. Sweet, light, and tropically delicious. Top it off with a pineapple drink and the rest is history.

He was kind, polite, and carried himself with such warmth -- and yes, those curls were beautiful. He set the tone for the entire experience. Demetrius seated us, and our server Joe took great care of us. For starters, we ordered the wedge salad and the meatballs. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we had the grilled salmon with bok choy and mashed potatoes, and the steak sandwich with French fries. Everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The ambience was wonderful. They have a full bar, and you can watch the chefs prepare dishes right from your table, which adds to the experience. I also appreciated seeing the general manager actively running food and engaging with guests -- leadership like that shows. Another thing that stood out was how clean and organized the restaurant stayed. The moment a table was vacated, it was cleared and reset within minutes. Everything looked spotless. There's so much on the menu that I want to come back and try. I highly recommend this place. And last but definitely not least -- thank you, Demetrius, for noticing my parking time had expired and getting me that extra 15 minutes. You saved me a ticket. You're a true gem. I'll be back to Saint & Second very soon.

The Bake Mac & Cheese is a must-order--the crunchy topping is easily the best part and gives it such a great texture. We also tried the Grilled Provoleta. It's a seared provolone with portobello mushrooms and pickled peppers; it doesn't have a typical "cheese pull," but the flavors are incredible and it feels surprisingly light for a cheese dish. The 1st-floor outdoor patio is super comfortable and dog-friendly, making it the perfect spot to relax. Highly recommend if you're in Long Beach with your pup! One visit we waited over 40 minutes without being acknowledged, another time our order came out wrong, and another time the food arrived cold like it had been sitting for quite a while. Because of that, I honestly did not want to come back tonight. But I was craving a good steak, and after my husband suggested giving 908 another try, I reluctantly agreed. I noticed the filet mignon on the menu paired with broccolini and decided to go for it. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt completely different. The hostess was warm and welcoming and seated us immediately. A young man came over right away with waters and took our drink order, which already surprised us in the best way. Then Alex S came to our table, and he truly made the night exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful in making sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. I mentioned that I didn't want a large piece of butter melting over the steak, and he happily accommodated that request. He even checked on the exact ounce size of the filet for me, which I appreciated. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, and honestly, they were the best Brussels sprouts we've ever had. Perfectly cooked, not drowning in sauce, and absolutely packed with flavor. My 8 oz filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare, exactly as ordered. The broccolini was crisp, fresh, and not overly oily. Everything tasted thoughtful, balanced, and worth every dollar. Most importantly, Alex S delivered spectacular service from start to finish. We were genuinely shocked to learn this was his first night shift because he handled the dining room with professionalism, warmth, and confidence far beyond what we expected. Thank you, Alex S, for completely changing our impression of 908. Tonight's experience was excellent, and for the first time, we are actually excited to come back. Thanks again, Jed Dornoff

Tell me to meet you somewhere and I'll be there. Simple as that and less stress for me. Anyways, that's how we ended up at this place. Trying to find happy hour with food in the area was somewhat a challenge. Either they were finishing up or it wasn't that interesting on the menu. Of course some places offered amazing drink deals but no food. We ended up here actually across the street still looking up for places but the rooftop patio was what caught our attention. The restaurant itself looked bare as there was no one inside. Still on the early side but noticing people going in and then heading up stairs. After a few debates on here and there, we gave up and found our way here. Checked in with the host, letting him know that we just wanted happy hour upstairs. It was about two flights of stairs which the place looked quite industrial with all the metal beams and stairs. Downstairs was beautiful but completely emptied. Everyone wanted to utilize the rooftop patio as it was beautiful out. We were greeted by someone which mentioned to us that any bar seating was available. There was a section towards the back that was pretty lively. I think it was booked for a group. Instead of the bar area, we asked to sit along the rooftop counter that looks out to the street and building across the street. Way better view and perfect way to spend the afternoon hours. Staff were all pretty sweet and very friendly. Whatever we needed they were they to help. Both the regular menu and happy hour menu were quite impressive. As we just wanted HH, it was given. They had drink special for 10.00 and small bites for 10.00 as well. Didn't hesitate and started off with some drinks. The red sangria with mixed fruits was a nice clean and refreshing treat. Tasteful without that aftertaste. And the Le Pistolet Fumant, a delectable tasty drink with mezcal with a hint of pineapple. And other well drink that was perfect for a nice afternoon. HH drink special was quite tasty to start off. Food wise, started off with an order of the Caesar salad, simple but delicious. Fresh crisp Romaine lettuce and slices of Parmesan and crouton bits. Nice crunch with each bite. The dressing, wow pretty tasty. And an order of the Mac and Cheese . Most places it's either a hit or a miss and let me say it was a HIT. Quite cheesy and full of flavors that a second order was had. A dish I do recommend for HH. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts which was excellent. A nice glaze and crunchy with chunks of house cured pancetta. Nice big chunks I must say. Lastly the beef sliders with Wagyu beef patties. Honestly, this was the least favorite of the dishes we got. You would think it sounded great but it was quite tasteless and nothing major to report on. Served with brioche bun and shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a lemon aioli. I had high hope for it when I saw the group next to us order it but it was a little disappointing. Overall, the Mac and cheese, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts were all hits. The sliders, disappointing. Other items on HH didn't look too ingesting for us but it was for other people. The rooftop lounge and bar area was the place to be when we were there. It picked up real fast after we got seated. Picnic style tables being occupied by large groups before HH ended. Just the rooftop alone was great and beautiful. It a place that's good for a drink and meal with friends. Downstairs was beautiful but seemed more of an intimate experience. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal during HH.
