Jolibee double deluxe burger Cambo with rice and fries "..... totally messed it up missing fries and the rice they sent 2 chicken which I didn't order and then spaghetti didn't have barely sauce on it nor cheese no biggie .... I tried to get a refund from them directly they didn't give me any ... so I called the restaurant NO ANSWER as they're closed ... how is your upset customer able to reach out to you?? It's Filipino fast food so to some it may be an acquired taste. This location shares a parking lot with Seafood City and parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. Walk straight in, get in line, order at the counter, and receive your order when your number is called/buzzed. Customer service has improved over the years and is friendlier and more efficient now. I always order fried chicken, usually half spicy and original. The spicy is seasoned well and has medium heat, perfect to dip in gravy and a spoonful of rice. The chicken's seasoning is not overpowering, unlike other fried chicken restaurants because it's best eaten with gravy for optimal flavor. The spaghetti on the other hand has a candy sweet tomato sauce with hot dogs, chopped sausage, and topped with shredded cheese, nothing like Italian spaghetti and is the standard spaghetti that Filipino's learn to love from childhood birthday parties. The palabok is good but really needs lemon juice to brighten it up. Many of my non-Filipino friends say the burgers are good but I have yet to try them. Peach mango pie and pineapple quencher's are also a must. Minus one star for cleanliness. read more

3-13-24 6:30pm Yesterday was my 2nd visit and I was craving their Adobo rice. I was recommended to this establishment by a customer that said "This is the Best Fried Chicken" so I went to give it a try. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I rate on Service and Food. On my first visit, I ordered chicken strips and Adobo rice. Chicken strips were a 2 on a scale of 1 -10, as they were dry and over cooked. On my second visit, I have to agree the Chicken was and Crispy. Yesterday, when I walked in, it was pretty crowded. There were 5 ppl standing at the Pick Up section, and 12 people in line. I was watching the Pick Up orders going, fast, but after 10 minutes is line, there was actually no cashier helping. 4 people in the back making chicken, 4 people in the front bagging orders, no cashier, sign stating no spicy chicken and still 12 people in front of me. The 4 people in the front bagging the orders opened the chicken cabinet without gloves and constantly opening the boxes, so basically, you have 3 - 4 people without gloves handling food, and wiping their hands on their pants. Management really has to look into this. The manager came out and told one of the workers to start taking orders. There are 2 cash registers, but only 1 cashier. The man standing in front of the cash register was there for 10 min waiting to place his order. 3 people got out of the line after this time to walk over to the pick up section. A woman from the line went straight to pick up an order. When she left, another customer asked how she got her order, and she replied she ordered and paid for it online when she was in line for 20 minutes. So while I was in line, I downloaded the Jollibee App, and placed my order for Adobo rice and a 6 piece of Chicken and paid. The order stated it would be ready in 4 minutes. I didn't believe it, but there was still 12 people in line in front of me, and after 4 minutes, they had my order in the pick up line, lol. For the 2 times that I have been into this establishment, it has been pretty busy. I do like their crispy chicken, but their location needs to work on Customer service Process, like an OIE helping develop a First In, First Out process and LSS. Maybe there were sick calls that day, but a 1/2 wait is pretty ridiculous for a fast food joint. For the future, I will make my order in my car in the parking lot, as I don't want to go through this again. Still the staff was friendly, but the cashier looked overwhelmed with the amount of customers and pick up orders. read more

This was the first time I ordered a 3 piece meal with biscuit and two sides for takeout from Jollibee. When I got home I open the package and found out that the Jollibee representative did not give me biscuit with the purchase. It's a Filipino quick-service fast food restaurant. And for that, I'm happy it exists. If you're new to this establishment and like fried chicken, I think you'll be more than content at what Jollibee has to offer--flavorful, crispy and juicy. They give you a choice of regular or spicy or you can order a mix. They stick a flag on the spicy pieces so you don't get them mixed up. I always just get spicy because I think it has a great kick & a nice flavor without the hurt of spicy food. I pair the chicken with their flavorful adobo rice. If you don't like fried chicken, I suggest trying their burger steak covered in gravy and perfectly paired with rice. Their palabok is also pretty good...thin sticky noodles with the appropriate sauce and crushed bits of chicharon. It hits the spot for most. Other popular items include sweet spaghetti (that's how Filipinos do it) and their Yum burgers. Their desserts change but sometimes they have mango, ube and pineapple hand held pies. Why this Jollibee has such a low rating is a mystery to me. Jollibee chicken is my favorite chain fried chicken! When you order the spicy, they put in a toothpick to help differentiate between the original. Next reason to love it is the graaaaavy! Gravy makes eveything better. I'm personally not a fan of sweet spaghetti, but every one I know loves their spaghetti as well. Staff are always polite and the service is probably the best or as good as all other fast food joints. I was so excited to have some of my native food and I was so disappointed at the menu and service. The chicken and gravy was so salty I felt my body expand. The rice was dry and that isn't an adobo rice. I decide to get the combo including a soda and opted for water instead and the cashier was going to charge me for the water. I'm very picky about my fried chicken. It was a little bit dry and the crust is just ok. The chicken isn't flavorful all the way thru. Popeyes is so much better. The only thing about this chicken is that their spicy actually had heat. It comes with gravy which for me had some sweetness to it. I prefer savory gravy. The French fries were not good at all I tried the spaghetti. Reminded me of chef boy r dee. I got my food to go and I had a big order. I was suppose to get 2 orders of fries but only got 1. Try the Chicken Joy with just plain white rice as the side with stick to your ribs creamy gravy. So simple but yet so comforting! Another must have item for me at Jollibee is the Pancit Palabok, my favorite version of pancit or Filipino noodle. Palabok features rice noodles topped with shrimp sauce, ground chicharon, shrimp and boiled eggs. Jollibee makes a yummy and rich version of this noodle. For dessert, try the Halo Halo! Halo-halo is the classic Filipino dessert featuring shaved ice and evaporated milk with sweet beans, coconut, tapioca, jelly, fruits, flan and ube ice cream. Halo-halo means all mised up in Tagalog, so mix at all up and enjoy! Jollibee makes a pretty good and reasonably priced halo-halo. Whenever my kids want a quick meal, we always go to this location for take out. Original chicken is great and the gravy is to die for. My kids love the chicken sandwich and burger steak. My personal favorite is the Amazing Aloha and my wife is the Ube Pie. It's great that they recently renovated to update the inside of the restaurant. Looks great from before. Service is quick but sometimes they could miss orders. Make sure you check the food that you're getting. My only complaint is that the prices have gone so much. I ordered 2 meals and 2 ube pie and I ended up paying close to $50. I could imagine getting 2 meals at a decent restaurant for that price. So if you're craving for some fried chicken, be ready with your wallet. read more

Jollibee was marketed to me similarly to how there's a viral "you gotta try it" vibe to how people love, with loyal passion, places like In N Out Burgers, Shake Shack, Chick-Fil-A (so, call this place Chick-Fil-A-Pino, since that's the origins of the company, primary clientele and fusion of the menu), and other places that tend to be over-hyped that often times over-promises on expectations and under-delivers. Their marketing is totally spot on. They have a lot of what are key to success, with Jollipee the cute character and Mr Yum (Yum) and his friends. The menu is mainly known for the Fried Chicken (but when I got there, in part to their credit for cooking "to order" fresh, I was told it would take 15 minutes for Chicken Tenders and 30 minutes for White Meat (breast / wing), but they did have dark meat (Asians love the more moist dark meat) already prepared and ready to order n' serve. They're also known for their spaghetti. I got the kids meal, and unfortunately the choices for toys to choose from were relegated to being between 2 girl figures, so they didn't have anything that was boy-centric, which was kinda disappointing. The spaghetti had some sliced hot dogs in it and the sauce was a tad on the sweet side, so not like typical Italian red marinara pasta sauce. The prices were okay, sort of a tad on the higher end for fast food, but not horribly overpriced. The portions were okay. The service was friendly. I'd say my biggest roadblock was that the menu seemed a bit limited and everything was packaged as complete meals ('tho I'm sure you could order deviating from the posted menu for single items without the drink or sides) at around $6-7 to start. The kid's meal was about $5. Again, that's not too bad of a price when you get a drink with your meal, but what seems to be missing is an "a la carte" menu to offer individual pieces of chicken or something where if a customer wanted a quick light snack, it's apparent with a lower priced menu posted. Parking was easy. This area of Carson is a mecca for the Filipino / Philippine community, so there's all sorts of restaurants, markets and retail shops in the surrounding area. read more

Placed a take out order over the phone at 4:25pm on Saturday May 30th for two 6 piece buckets of chicken and 6 peach mango pies and was told it'll be ready in 30 minutes. Paid by credit card to ensure the order was complete. Got to Jollibee at right be 5pm, parking lot was pretty crowded but thankfully was able to find a parking spot and went right in Jollibee. It was great that there wasn't any line to enter the restaurant, there were a few customers in front so had to wait a bit before getting to the register. When getting to the register I advised the person I was there for a pick up order and gave my name, dog gone it, it wasn't packed up. A few girls began getting my order ready and boxing everything, great thing everything was nice and hot. The chicken was excellent, the outside was nice and crispy and the meat was moist, the flavor was delicious. The peach mango pie was outstanding! Decided to finally check it out, Very nice clean spot that abided by all covid restrictions so I felt very comfortable the whole process from ordering to getting my food. I got the 2 piece chicken with the Fiesta noodles and a side of Adobe rice. Everything was really flavorful, the chicken was great loved the crunch on it, Wasn't to impressed by the Fiesta noodles but im sure its an acquired taste and I just wasn't in the mood for it that day. Unfortunately, this location is losing their touch and have now lost me and my girlfriend as customers. There are other Jollibee stores close enough for us to drive to them when we need a Jollibee fix. Today, we ordered the Jolly spaghetti with 2 pieces of chicken joy, a Big Yum burger and a Jolly hot dog. What we received (after we opened the bag when we got home - Covid-19 time so no dine in) was the spaghetti and chicken, a Yum burger instead of the Big Yum burger and a hot dog on a bun that was literally harder than the box in came in. You could flex the side of the box but could not push in on the bun AT ALL. I removed the hot dog, put it on a slice of bread here and then was able to eat it. The Yum burger was over cooked, with pieces of black char between the burger and the bun. The spaghetti was up to the usual standard as was the chicken. When you go one for three on an order, there's no reason to come back. I've seen the other negative reviews about the location and didn't pay close enough attention. If you have a Jollibee craving and are willing to drive a bit, I'd recommend one of their other locations. Just pay closer attention to the reviews before picking out your spot. Enjoy! read more
