Okay! So it's been over 16 years since I reviewed this particular Jollibee and honestly, it bumped UP by like 2 more stars solely on the customer service and cleanliness. Now, it's STILL annoying to dealing with many of the customers, but we can't really control all that, right!? The workers here keep this place clean with the random crowds that show up out of nowhere. I WAS going to add another star for the fact that a couple of years ago, I loved their chicken sandwich because at that time, it was such an amazingly delicious alternative to Popeye's famous chicken sandwich..... BUT.... cut to 2026 and damn... what the hell happened!? It somehow got smaller and is no longer as juicy as it used to be. Their fries have somehow gotten to be a little better than before. Their chicken isn't bad because of their spice and gravy; hence there reason why so many other races love it so much nowadays. This particular Jollibee is cool and all, BUT I hate when there's only 2 cashiers when there's a long bank-like line. I feel bad for the cashier when there's only 1 because there's only so much they can do. I would think by now, they would have the adaptability of how the Filipino workers at Chik Fil A perfectly metaphorically tag each other in when there's a long line via another register and shit just runs smooth as eggs. **Dave Chappelle voice** I was going to minus from today's experience, BUT they got my order right on the scheduled 5-10 minute time AND the nice lady even gave me a free small cup of gravy, when they usually charge; so I appreciate her knowing that I was patiently waiting. Honestly, I want to come back to get their spicy chicken bucket with a side of gravy for old times sake and see how much IF it has improved since over 16 years ago. Not bad, Jollibee Carson! NOT BAD because I still like eating at places that I give 3 stars to! You have definitely bumped up +2 stars since over a decade since I first reviewed! GOOD JOB, ma'am-sir!

As someone from Louisiana, I take my fried chicken VERY seriously -- spicy chicken is basically part of my DNA. I grew up loving Popeyes, so trust me when I say this: Jollibee's spicy fried chicken completely won me over. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the spice level is just right. It has real flavor -- not just heat for the sake of heat. Every bite is seasoned all the way through, and the crunch is incredibly satisfying. You can tell it's made fresh and with care. If you love spicy fried chicken, do yourself a favor and try it.

I don't know why the 3 Jollibee's near me all have 2 to 3 star ratings? Is it because it's a fast food chain restaurant (which almost always gets low ratings)? Idk why but all I know is the spicy chicken is bussin. Also cause it's an Asian chain, they offer white rice as a side (with some banana sauce)... yum. Place is always clean and the workers are always happy and friendly.

Wanted to try this Filipino chicken fast food establishment. I was in the mood for some fried chicken! Ordered a bucket of crispy regular chicken, filipino spaghetti and some peach pies. My number was called 10 mins later. (FAST SERVICE) OMG! Simply delicous!!!" It was definitely tasty. Each and every bite I took had no dissapointment. Good food period. This establishment will give KFC, Churches, and Popeyes a run for its money! Its definitely a must try. Place gets crowded, with influx of people in line. Good luck on getting a table. Parking is alittle tight but bearable. Good area.. you can feel the filipino culture shine in this part of town.

I was half-asleep, aimlessly cruising through Carson, desperately scanning for a caffeine hit when--BAM! Like a fried chicken angel sent from the heavens, Jollibee popped into my view like it knew I needed saving. Forget the coffee. I whipped the craziest U-turn and went straight to joy in a bucket: 10-piece spicy chicken (hello, crispy dreams), an ube pie (don't sleep on this purple magic), and a pineapple refresher that gave me main character energy. The chicken? HOT, steaming like it had somewhere to be, with that perfect crunch and seasoning that whispers sweet, spicy nothings to your soul. I went from zombie to Super Saiyan in under ten minutes. No regrets. 10/10 would absolutely get lost again just to find this magical fried fever dream.

The new burger was good and I like it.One of the manager was nice to me.The atmosphere was nice. I had this a week ago. Yeah late review.

I came in 15 min before 9pm waited inline just to tell me they don't have no more chicken. Why they can just fry more Chicken!

Top tier fast food fried chicken and it isn't even close, maybe. Regardless, they have one of the best spicy fried chicken in the game. My only knock is the size of my thigh. Could be bigger but i'll take it how I can get it. The sides were cool, but nothing spectacular. Although you can argue the gravy is one and absolutely drinkable, which I can agree with. The peach mango pie is also phenomenal and highly recommended.

Was craving fried chicken and I was really close to jollibee so decided to order a bucket of 6 chickens. They were very delicious, a little more expensive than I expected - around $16? But no regrets on the chicken, it was tender, juicy, just how I liked it, maybe a little bit on the saltier side. I ordered the pineapple quench and this paired well with the fried chicken! A nice fruity drink on a hot day.

I just unwrapped this sandwich: cold bun, semi-luke warm chicken and a small slice of jalapeno.
    John K.

Just purchased and the bun was cold. The fries are room temperature cold. Not to mention, its just chicken and sauce. I did not eat anything and threw everything in the fucking trashcan. How is this place allowed to operate?!

I wouldn't say it is necessarily family friendly, especially small kids, but our kids were fine dining there. They don't have a kids menu but the chef was able to make the kids some simple things they loved - pasta and cheese!! The highlight though was the Porsche shaped butter. That was THE absolute coolest thing ever. It came in a little dish with the bread. My kids and I loved it!!! It was a really nice touch to our meal. The food was really exceptional. One of the best places I've dined in a long time - even including Michelin star restaurants!! The dishes were so beautifully and delicately prepared - we had the octopus appetizer, the homemade pasta dish, the heirloom salad and Ofocurse we couldn't pass dessert! Dessert: if you are a tiramisu lover like me you MUST try the tiramisu-choux. It's a whole different take on this Italian dessert! Overall this place was absolutely INCREDIBLE. For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

As Alison C. pointed out, "Chinollo is very unique because it's the owner is Cuban born, Peruvian raised and of Chinese heritage, so the menu is a mix of Latin American and Asian fusion." All credits to them for this because the menu makes so much sense in that light. There are 2 different and super convenient ways to order: If you want to talk to someone, you can go up to the cashiers; if you don't want to talk to anyone, there are 2 self-service kiosks. While there is seating indoors, I've always come after work hours and at that time, it seems to be primarily a to-go restaurant. I've been slowly working my way through their Wonder Bowls option - and what I've tried so far are: 0. Base options: Rice, ancient grains (mix of quinoa and other grains), raw greens, garlic noodle, or even a half-half combo of any two options. I agree with Belle C.'s comment about the garlic noodles in that it's "not garlicky enough for me, but maybe it's meant for the white American palate)". Go to any Asian restaurant, Chinese, Indo-Chinese, Viet, and the garlic noodles have tonnes of fragrant & noticeable garlic in it while this simply did not. I like getting rice or ancient grains (for extra fibre) as my base over the greens or garlic noodles. Overall, a great spot with fast & lovely service, healthy & delicious portions of food (enough for two meals for me), and delicious drinks that I recommend especially for to-go orders after work. Also lovely for workers nearby to sit down or get something quick, filing, and tasty! 1. Baja Bowl (GF, RV): Choice of base. Black beans, sweet corn, avocado, cashew-chipotle sauce, pico de gallo. Choice of free-range chicken, organic tofu or pulled pork. For steak add $1. Other choices of protein also available. I love getting this with tofu for an extra dose of fibre from veggies; that sweetness of sweet corn with the salty-creaminess of the black beans go so well with the creamy sauce. 2. Farm Veggie Bowl (V): Vegan. Choice of base. Best of season grilled vegetables, cashew-chipotle sauce, hydro watercress. Add black beans on request. Available: add protein of choice. One of my favourite veggie bowls; I do recommend adding the black beans for more fibre & protein. Such a delicious and filling bowl that's fresh. 3. Chico Cubano (GF, RV): Choice of base. Pulled pork Cuban style, mojo criollo sauce, black beans, red pickled onions, parsley, sweet plantains. other choices of proteins available. This is my absolute favourite dish specifically because of the black beans; I enjoy it so much that I've been asking for a side of them as well. It's a hefty portion of pulled pork as well and 3 chunky plantains cooked to perfection. I do wish there was little bit more of the picked onions to cut through the fatty pork as well as the mojo criollo sauce, but other than that, if you get a bite of everything, it's delicious. 4. Saltado Peruano (GF, RV): Choice of base. Sauteed onion, tomatoes, huacatay sauce, aji panca, cilantro, potato fries. Choice of free-range chicken or tofu. For steak, add $1. Other choices of protein also available. The huacatay with the steak, onions, and tomatoes is so fresh and filling; I like to dip the potatoes in the aji panca after a few bites of everything else. The potatoes are a thick cut, so it can become a tough bite at times. Pro-tip: Eat this one right away as the potatoes can get soggy pretty quickly. I do wish they gave more aji, but other than that, a delicious dish, especially with steak (which I prefered over chicken or tofu). 5. El Koreano (GF, RV): Choice of base. Grilled certified angus steak, baby bok choy, cucumber, gochujang, house kimchi, sweet umami glaze. Other choices of protein also available. I've had this, but I can't say it's my favourite; I would personally go get banchan from a Korean restaurant and enjoy that as a "bowl" than this. There's something about the house kimchi that I don't enjoy as much as I do from Korean establishments. My real complaint isn't about the food, but the to-go container; since it's not plastic, it gets soggy very quickly and loses shape from all the food in the container, causing it to scrape into the food when I use a spoon or fork to eat. My go-to drink is the Zingy; the blend of tartiness from the lemon, the bright punch from the ginger, and Its ingredients are: Fresh ginger, lemon, mint, pineapple, cayenne pepper, raw organic sugar, sparkling water. My partner likes the honey lemonade, especially because you can adjust the sweetness, and actually taste the honey. Its got freshly squeezed lemon, raw organic honey, organic raw sugar.

There's a water jug with lemons if you would like to drink water but their drink menu is extensive from lemonades to teas (milk tea, fruit tea, hot tea), crafted pops, and lattes. Honey lemonade: 9/10, even though they let you adjust the sweetness, it was the perfect level of sweetness at regular 2. VIP Poke bowl: 9/10, it came with a decent amount of tuna, although there were 2 pieces with so much tendon that I had to spit those out. You could tell seaweed salad was frozen as it was still icy in the bowl, but the day was so hot (they didn't have AC on inside) that by the time I was halfway through my meal it had warmed to the perfect temperature. Overall a great place that seems well loved by customers!

This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. I will say that the prices are a bit steep for me. Very glad we came during the happy hour. But really want to return to try the food and more drinks. Maybe on a special date night out!

One of the women (I missed her name but I believe her birthday is today) working there helped me find seating for my party. She was gracious enough even with there being little to no wiggle room- so shout out to her. Our servers were great, appetizers came out hot and delicious. I think we ordered 4 rounds of Brussels sprouts Drinks were tasty- highly recommend the espresso martini with a side of vanilla ice cream. Overall had a great time and appreciate the customer service!

The indoor and outdoor seating areas are very spacious, which is a plus for me. Even though it was moderately busy the night we went, the outdoor area still felt spacious enough to offer an intimate vibe while we enjoyed our drinks. The service was nice; the staff were attentive and friendly. You pay at the counter for your drinks and take them back to your seat, just like at a standard bar. I'm not sure if I should be relieved that I didn't order any food that day after reading some reviews. I've seen some people complain about sanitary measures and the temperature/quality of the food here. Hmm... next time I stop by, I'll probably just grab drinks and then head over to In-N-Out lol. On another note, the drinks were good! I forgot which IPA I had, but it was nice. My boyfriend went for his usual michelada, which he enjoyed. Overall, SoCal Vibes is a laid-back, industrial-style brewery that offers a spacious, dog-friendly outdoor seating area. For that reason alone, I'll probably be back soon. I'd recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for a chill place to grab drinks. Cheers!
