I tried this place today. I placed my order on my phone and was told by text the order would be ready in 53 minutes. But I headed over there and parked. My order was not ready so I hung around. Finally got it. At home I ate two huge pieces of thighs. They tasted tender but more like being brine so not really tasty but so salty. I like the thin coating and that's it. The chicken tasted like from Walmart: no flavor. A cup of gravy was included but taste did not resemble KFC. Fortunately I included a peach mango pie that greatly offset the salty taste of chicken. This is such a stressful visit. I had ordered my food online and was told my order would be ready in an hour. So I took my time and arrived at 5 minutes before the said time. I came in to the store with a whole lot of angry people who had been waiting for their food for more than an hour and was told that their food was still NOT READY. Honestly I'm only writing this because I had such a terrible experience at the Jollibee in Mira Mesa that I felt like I didn't give you guys your flowers. First off. Amazing service. Food was actually fresh when I got there. Only waited about 5 mins past my pickup time which was worth it bc everything was fresh. I don't know what the deal or misunderstandings, but every time I order from this branch, there is always something wrong with my order. I would be missing an order or get the wrong order. I went through the drive thru yesterday and when I was ordering one of the chickenjoy buckets, I specifically ordered the 6pc Chickenjoy bucket, half original, half spicy. The employee said the spicy ones would take an extra 20 minutes to prepare and I was okay with that and didn't mind waiting for 3 spicy pieces. 10 minutes later, I got my order and went home. When I opened the bucket thinking there was half original and half spicy, I was wrong; all were spicy. Luckily I had gotten something for my wife, but this was upsetting and disappointing. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big since they share the lot with several other establishments. So many spots for you to choose from. As you bite into the hot pie, there are gooey orange chunks that taste more like peach than mango. It's not particularly overpowering, but you get a hit of the flavor. Remember drivers are horrible and the traffic can be tedious so be careful when you find that parking space and walk on over. Yes they do have a drive through if you want to avoid the risk of potentially getting hit. Once inside you will hear a lot of loud people talking which seems like it's about what karaoke song to sing but it's actually them communicating in their way to make the work efficient. The place is kept clean and everyone seems so eager for their food. The line will go by not taking too long but it will be a bit. They have almost all of the favorites but did I mention they almost never have the SPICY CHICKEN or that in hangry terms "take forever to make it!"? Yesterday was actually my first time ever dining in at a Jollibee. I didn't realize it was a fried chicken kind of deal. I couldn't but help to compare it to KFC. Chicken: soooo juicy. I could actually taste the spicy in the spicy chicken! It's more of a mild spice, so I wouldn't worry. A really great touch is that the workers put a little flag on the spicy chicken to differentiate the spicy mixed in with the regular. Mac & Cheese: good, only ever so slight hint of sweetness. Mashed potato and gravy: I prefer KFC. The gravy was a bit too thick for me and also sweeter. Sweet cream cold brew: yum! Sweet. Even better than... Jack in the box? McDonald's? I think so. And the price wasn't too bad. Only 100 calories too! Restaurant: okay... I guess they're busy but they had plenty of workers. By the time we got there, rush was over because only one person in line and plenty of empty tables (also it was like 2:30pm. But all the tables were dirty. I was craving some fried chicken tonight so we order from Jollibee. We got their 10pc Chickenjoy Meal Deal with 3 pies for $32. Along with the spicy chicken and Ube pies, we also got adobo rice, french fries, and mashed potatoes. Their chicken wasn't very spicy at all this time. Their adobo rice wasn't as flavorful as before. Their mashed potatoes lacked gravy, but it helped that there was extra gravy on the side for the chicken. I think one of the best part of the meal was the Ube pie. I did like the fact that they fixed their all night issue so now you can order spicy chicken and edit the meal options online. All in all, it was a decent meal for $48. read more

I really wish I would have ordered the spaghetti with a side of chicken because the spaghetti side is really small. Only downside is I requested two thighs but I got a thigh and a leg. The special came with a drink and a biscuit so it's a good value. The chicken is crunchy and flavorable not too salty. Restaurants nice and clean. I like Jollibee's food as a whole. But this location is a bit lacking because they are often not serving their spicy versions. We decided to get a few buckets to add to our no-turkey Thanksgiving gathering. We were advised by a staff to order early and pick it up at a set time. When we picked up right at 5:30 the chicken was barely warm and condensation had set in. We ended up heating them back up in the oven. I'm questioning when the chicken was actually packed up...I'm guessing it was right when we ordered it at 3pm. Not sure if we will do that again. Otherwise it's good moist fried chicken. Dining area is not too bad. Service is what you would expect from somewhere like McDonald's. One time I ate there, the tray was disgusting.
