Gross, dirty, unkempt place. Nothing clean or good about this place. Please report it to LA county sanitation people or even the head office as this is absolutely

2 piece chicken combo (leg/thigh/wing) with fries (AMAZING CRISPY AND SALTED FRIES), dinner roll, and a drink
Felicia C.

An intriguing mom & pop shop next to Popeye's, saying, "Louisiana Fried Chicken, Hongkong Style Chinese Food." I was like, "Is that a Chinese place that used to be a fried chicken place? Or is it a Chinese place that sells fried chicken?? Is that even real?" So I yelped it and it showed that it was the latter. I already know how Popeye is (which I like), but I'm always up for trying a new place, especially a mom & pop shop. So I stopped by and got a 2 piece combo (leg and thigh), with fries, dinner roll, & a drink. The lady told me it would be 15 mins. I said fine. Man, when it came out and I saw how pippin hot and fresh it was, I was so excited. I felt the fries and they felt hot, crispy and salted. I put a fry in my mouth. O m g. It tasted exactly how I felt. Crispy, hot, salted perfectly. The dinner roll was dinner roll. The leg and thigh were crispy, super tasty. It seemed that they cooked them when I ordered it. Put some hot sauce (which not hot) to add more taste. I'd be back for sure... I was eyeballing the Chinese food trays. I wanna try their 1/2/3 item combo next time.

Fried Rice Party Tray, large - $35.99

Super hole in the wall Chinese joint! You do not expect to find Chinese food at a place named Louisiana Fried Chicken but they serve quick take out. They have the best price in SGV for fried rice party trays. They charge $35.99 for the huge tray. Not overly salty or oily. Did not expect it to be the worlds greatest but it was a very satisfying side dish for the party I had.

Not gooooood!!!

They must have changed management, the food was bland and the curry chicken had ZERO curry taste.

It stands where the old Applebees used to be, and honestly I feel like when they revamped the building it brought a little bit of life and spice to our little town. The restaurant itself is nice and very clean. The tables and small seating area have aluminum chairs with fire house red paint and I love it! Now for the food! Like I said I can't eat super spice foods much these days, but the spice level are available for you to adjust to your taste preferences. I chose spicy for our cauliflower bites, and not gonna lie--the heat made my nose run! lol which meant it was pretty awesome! My kids had the sliders and I've got to say, it's giving some of my favorite chicken fast food joints a run for their money as far as tenderness and flavor! I enjoyed the cheese fries as well along with a nice helping of pickles. Very yummy with spicy food. The service was fast and friendly and we enjoyed our meal as we ate it in the dining room. The ambiance was a cool 80s music vibe and honestly I'm into it! I definitely recommend Dave's and I'm happy to say, spicy or not, I'll be back for seconds!

Chick-fil-A - Not sure what was in my chicken sandwich, but this definitely has ruined Chic fil a for me

It's disappointing to write this because I genuinely like this chain. This review is specifically about the person at the pick up window at 3:12pm on 1/21/2026. My receipt shows Cashier's name is Brian, so I will assume it was Brian that assisted me. After placing my order, he called out my name at the pickup window and handed me a bag. I had also requested two ice waters, which were not included, so I stayed at the window to make sure I received everything. I had music playing and several passengers in the car, so it was hard to hear clearly. He mumbled something and handed me another bag. Assuming it was the rest of my order (especially since I had ordered about $41 worth of food), I reached for it and then asked again about the waters. Brian then said, "That bag is for Pauline--are you Pauline?" Obviously, I'm not, since he had already called out my name earlier and made eye contact with me. Shortly after, he handed me another bag of food. During this confusion, my car ended up stuck in park, preventing me from moving forward. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Brian looked at his coworker and mockingly said, "Bye, Pauline!" in an attempt to rush me along. That behavior was unnecessary and unprofessional. Mistakes happen, but mocking a customer instead of taking responsibility is not acceptable. I hope this location addresses customer service training, as this experience was very disappointing coming from Chick-fil-A.

Big Wok - 3 item combo (mushroom chicken, potato chicken, and teriyaki chicken on top of chow mein)

Parking in the front was tough, I was lucky to find a spot but I'm sure there's street parking in the street next door. I walked in and it was DARK but light at the same time. Very stuffy indoor as well, with some seating but all of them were taken so I had to order and go home to eat. I didn't realized they had less variety, so instead of getting two 3 item combos, I had to change the second to a 2 item combo instead. The dishes were almost gone so I ended up taking the rest while the fresh ones were on the way and since there was a line I didn't want to hold them up. I got chow mein with teriyaki chicken, potato chicken, and mushroom chicken. Then for the other I got white rice with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I wanted their char siu pork but it was $2 extra and I thought "what if I didn't like it" so my mind was made up to skip a 3rd item. Another thing I'm not used to was that they added the 3rd item on top of everything. I'm used to the third item being separated but surprised they all fit. Usually the places pack it too full that even 2 items won't close without overflow. They had a POS system instead of the old cash register so that was fancy, I still paid and tipped in cash. But you can also add tip to your total in the touchpad. It took me 10min to drive home and the food was still warm. It did leak a bit (not sure where the sauce came from) but I wish I waited for the fresh batch because the chicken was dry and tough, they all had great flavor other than the texture.

This is why you can't always buy the hype on social media. They really sold it well making it look…read morelike gigantic plates with a lot of food and flavor. Serving size is OK but it's honestly not that great. It just tasted very salted no flavor. Basically a plate full of salt zero flavor. This is mediocre best and that's being generous. They took my order and the whole thing took about 10 minutes. The man behind the counter was friendly and gave me a two minute heads up before it was done. He packed it quickly thereafter and I was back on my way home. I saw a few of the negative reviews so I didn't have hopes up. I only wanted to have fried chicken, any would do. So imagine my surprise when I tore into my chicken and found it DRIPPING with juices. Hear me out, I've had Korean fried chicken, Japanese fried chicken (not katsu), Chinese fried chicken and NONE were as juicy as this one. I bought the squid ink battered fried whole chicken. From the first bite to the last was a joy. It needed no sauce so I never used the accompanying spices. I will definitely be back.
