After 2 more meals, I'm pulling back the rest of the menu to 3 stars. Meal of a beef tomal and azada enchalada with beans and rice. The beef tomal was pretty flavorless. The azada in the enchilada was the same used in the street taco, so it was really good. But then generic enchalada sauce, basic refried beans, and rice that was so dry there were crunchies - but not like the good, flavorful, caramelized paella crunchy. Asked the manager if they made the tomals because it was a way different beef flavor, and she insisted "yes." She was very disengaged, but at least I saw someone in the dining room cleaning the tables. Second meal was a pork tomal and lingua enchilada with beans and rice. Pork was better than the beef. There were a couple bites of the lingua that seemed... a little off, like it was old. Same beans, but at least the rice this time wasn't as dehydrated. The person attending the counter seemed to have an attitude and didn't feel like he wanted to be there. Never saw any of the tables wiped off in my 45 minutes there for lunch. So, street tacos - fantastic. Everything else so far, basic Mexican fare.

She was raised all over the South, has a background in Tex-Mex restaurants, and her favorite food to serve is Tex-Mex. Tely returned to Boise eight years ago. She is knowledgeable about the local food truck scene and saw the need for something different. Per Tely's Facebook page, "Tex Mex food is our Jam. Come here to enjoy some southern Tejano delights mixed with Mexican flare." I visited for the first time on 7/11/23. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos: Baja Fish Tacos ($10) - beer-battered, deep fried tilapia strips, topped with cabbage slaw and chipotle mayo My food was made to order. Everything was fresh and high-quality. The tilapia was lightly coated. The cabbage had a nice crunch. The chipotle mayo was good. I added a squeeze of lime to each taco, along with both of Tely's homemade salsas. The tacos were very good and filling. I saved one to eat later. The service was excellent! Tely will be happy to answer any questions you have, as well as make suggestions if you're having a hard time deciding what to get. For those who wish to dine on site, there are some tables and chairs, sheltered by large shade sails. Highly Recommended!!! * Please note that the daily specials on the photo of the menu I have shared below are not solidified yet. Telly is still working on her menu. For meats they also had chicken, beef, and chorizo available. The pork in the burritos had amazing flavor. The red sauce had a nice kick but I wouldn't call it very spicy; but good flavor! Verde sauce was also good. What really stood out to me though was how all the ingredients seemed really fresh and delicious; especially the pico and lettuce. Rice was cooked to perfection and lightly seasoned. Beans weren't runny or mushy. Perfect proportions as well; not too much rice or too much cheese or sour cream. I will definitely be back to try the various other meats and their street tacos.

The salsa isn't my cup of tea it reminds me of Pace picante mild. Walking in, this place is so colorful and vibrant! I love the pretty water fountain as soon as you walk in and the pretty art piece that was hanging above it. The whole venue looks like a fiesta so you know you're about to have a great time! We got sat. A sweet gal dropped off a couple waters, chips and salsa. Nothing like starting your afternoon with chips and salsa! Adri came shortly after and grabbed drink orders. I got a virgin mango margarita today. She asked if I wanted the rim salted or tajined. I totally would have but I have to watch my salt intake. Without the salt and tajin, that mango margarita was money! It was so good! It was perfectly blended! It had a good amount of mango to it. It was absolutely delicious! For lunch I got a shredded beef taco and shredded beef enchilada for lunch. It also came out with a side of rice and beans. The plate looked fabulous! I appreciate the peas and carrots in the rice! It added another texture to it. The rice and beans were nice and hot! Super tasty! The beef in my enchilada was tenders and flavorful. The sauce was rich in color and flavor. I like that there was a slight heat to everything. It wasn't overwhelming. I didn't get a chance to eat much of the taco. I did take a bite and it was good! I do wish that the tortilla didn't get all soggy. One side of the taco was great but the other was drenched in fluid. I also did find hard pieces of rice in the side of rice i got. Kind like it's been sitting too long and it dried out. It wasn't the best the chew. I'm happy I got to try this joint out today! Adri was fantastic and did a great job taking care of us! My margarita was top notch! The food was good and the venue was so much fun. Looking forward to coming back and trying other goodies of their menu with another bomb ass margarita!

Festive decor with lots of TV's throughout the dining room. Tiny bar in the corner. Service was great. Caring and quick. Chips and salsa/bean dip were ok. I've been here for almost 2 years and the BEST Mexican food I have found was in Twin Falls. NO I do not want to go to Twin Falls to get Mexican food, especially w/ the price of gas now. I was searching online for a new restaurant to go to for lunch and for some reason "Garibaldis Garden City" popped up. First, Garibaldis, does not really sound like a Mexican restaurant, but after reading the reviews and checking out their website, I am thinking why not...can't be any worse than Andrades, Chapala or Barrigas. Went in around noon, not crowded, but again its gorgeous outside, and I like a relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar, our server (bartender) Michael (who is from San Diego) was great. We really didn't need any recommendations because I already had set in my head what I was going to order. We started out with the "salsa flight", 3 different salsas, 1 smokey hot sauce, 1 more chunky and a mango habanero" which all 3 were very good. I loved that there was actually some spice and heat in all 3. Okay, the Mango it grows on you, the more you eat it the better it gets. We also ordered a maggie on the rocks w/ Casa Amigos Reposado and a ranch water with the Blanco. I also ordered the Coctel Garibaldis, which is shrimp & octopus and the shrimp was nice and large and the octopus was a nice size, NEITHER was mushy, THEY BOTH tasted so fresh (enough to share). For our main, Chicken Fajitas and Carne Asada....I normally do not like the refried beans here in Boise at the Mexican restaurants we have tried, but these beans tasted like HOME, LIKE MY MOTHER IN LAW MADE THEM~! The chicken fajitas ...there was actually MORE CHICKEN than peppers which is a 1st...and it was huge slices and chunks. My Carne Asada, OMG, huge amount and it was so flavorful, I doubt I could have done any better. NOW, I am a tortilla snob and I make my own flour tortillas, but THEY HAD SERIOUSLY LITERALLY the best DAMN corn tortillas I have tasted in YEARS! They almost look like flour, but once you taste them, incredible. We (he) ordered the Coco Flan for dessert, I don't do dessert so I ordered the Casa Azul Anejo....met 2 women drinking Maggies, we agreed, if we are going to do calories, we are drinking them and not eating them...but in all, the SERVICE, Food, the atmosphere, was all worth it. Will we go again, YOU BET, I may even have to sneak over for a few lunches by myself it was that good. Again, thanks Michael, you were on Point!

Hubby and I ordered fajitas, steak and chicken, to share-- and it was plenty!! Comes with rice and beans as well as shredded lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. The flavor of the meat and veggies was so good and the rice, which most times is very plain, actually had good flavor! Our friends ordered the Asada Burrito. I didn't actually taste it, but they raved about it! It also was huge-- they shared and still took about 1/4 of it home! Additionally... margaritas! We had a watermelon and a raspberry. Both were amazing, less than $10, and not lacking in tequila-- we walked away with a slight buzz (well, still have it as I'm typing this). The location is a little unobvious, lacked in a corner section of a strip mall off of Fairview and Ten Mile. Ambiance was very welcoming, music playing but not so loud that we couldn't carry in a conversation. Services was great, attentive, and we were not hit with any surprise charges! We will DEFINITELY be back!!

The linens they used were bright and fun! The tables totally stood out and looked fun! People were slowly arriving at different times which could be annoying for the server but she handled it like a champ. She got our drinks started while we were waiting for the rest of the party to show up. I got myself a virgin mango margarita with tajin and chammoy. Man that baby was good! It was blended perfectly with the tajin on the rim and chammoy in the glass. I highly recommend. After everyone showed up, we took turns getting our orders taken. My husband is quite the picky eater but our server made sure his fajitas were modified the way he wanted them. I also got fajitas for dinner! Shrimp fajitas. While dinner was being made, we all sat back and enjoyed the fresh chips and dip. The chips came out fresh and warm! The salsa had a nice kick to it. It was warm for me but no matter how hot it got, I couldn't stop. It was so good! The bean dip is my favorite. I ate that whole dish and didn't share any with my husband. Dinner was slowly trickling out and you can hear the fajitas sizzling on the hot plate. It smelled devine! Everything about the fajitas were perfect! The char on the onions and bell peppers are my favorite. The shrimp was tender and seasoned nicely! The tortillas were so warm and soft! The perfect combo was some quac, sour cream the charred veggies and the shrimp in that warm tortilla. Chef's kiss! We wrapped up dinner and the amazing staff came out and sang to my friend and I! We both got a little sweet treat that we got to share with everyone. It was honestly the funniest I have had starting my birthday week! From beginning to the end, everything was fantastic! We were a party of 14 so I would suggest the banquet room. It did get kind warm in the lobby. It's early spring so it wasn't too bad but I can't imagine trying to enjoy dinner during the summer in that kind of heat. If you're looking for hella good Mexican food while supporting a local business, Casa Mexico is your joint! I'm happy we came here for my birthday dinner. I couldn't have asked for a better start to my birthday week!
