The menu is mostly sandwiches with a few appetizers and salads. Booths line the restaurant, with tables and metal chairs in the center. Restaurant is extremely clean. All the tables have a mason jar of fresh flowers. They have paper napkins with real cutlery. There is a large room adjacent to the restaurant that they are converting to a bar. Specific for those 21 and over. As of the end of September, it is not completed . Our waitress is Morgan. She also is the manager of the restaurant for the evening. What a delightful, outgoing, personable girl. So glad we had the opportunity of having her serve us this evening. I ordered the Yardbird minus the bacon. It comes on a ciabatta roll with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. The roll was slightly toasted. The chicken is accompanied with a pesto sauce which I put on the side. I think the chicken is marinated. It had a delicious flavor and very moist. I accompanied it with the french fries. They are beer battered and I asked for extra crispy. Ask for the fry sauce. It is a ketchup, mayonnaise, horseradish mixed with spices. Absolutely delicious. My suggestion for the sandwich would be to melt the cheese. Mine came out, not melted just sitting on top of my chicken sandwich. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with the extra crispy fries. He said the roll was buttered and it made the entire meal. This is a little extra that a restaurant can do to elevate their hamburger. Score!! The music is too loud for the restaurant. It was difficult to have conversation. I would get the following scores: Food - 5 Ambience-4.5 (took off metal chairs and loud music) Service- 5 (Morgan was phenomenal) Overall rating 4.8

There were a few papers and receipts on the floor, but with the amount of foot traffic, that can happen. I liked seeing team members regularly check and clean the drink station and condiment area. The staff who took our order were helpful and welcoming, with smiles all around. It was also nice that it wasn't too busy on a Sunday night. I'd happily come back!

Once here in Idaho, I wasn't as inclined to visit due to my fear that it wouldn't taste the same and the Idaho-shaming of visiting any location. However, I had an overwhelming desire for "animal style" well done fries and after a lot of begging, convinced my husband to come (this was not an easy task). We arrived around 4:30 pm and the dining room was roughly 1/2 full with a robust wrap in drive-thru. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who quickly took our order, then repeated it back perfectly. The kitchen was in a fervor, bustling to satisfy all the orders (really, a hard working team). We obtained our drink cups and the large, typical drink station was nicely stocked with a nice array of soft drinks to choose from. The odd thing to me is that whenever I've eaten at any other location in the past, I think the longest I've ever waited for my meal has been maybe 9 minutes, tops. No matter the time of day or night. We waited 23 minutes for our meals. It seemed that drive-thru is priority, then to-go, then dine-in. The animal style fries were pretty good, though I'm used to it being slathered with more sauce. Thankfully, I was able to get a few sauce packets and gleefully doused to my delight. However, the bun of my burger was so over toasted! The buns were actually hard and crunchy. I'm not used to that. The burger tasted like before but it was dry and overcooked as well. The lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. My husband had the same experience with his burger as I did. Tables were not wiped down and the condiment station was out of almost everything when we got there. They didn't refill all the cups, chilis, etc. until right before we left. I really wanted to love my visit, but after this experience, and all the convincing to entice my husband there with this result, it's unlikely we will be back.

After their move to Micron and several times not being able to find an available time to go, I was finally able to track them down at a Labor Day event. We rolled up at noon and the line just started...right before the rush (great timing). We ordered fries, "The Dropzone" (cheese, patty, house sauce, onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato) and my husband had the cheeseburger with just lettuce, house sauce and cheese. We were handed a pager, told not to go too far and waited. It took a little over 15 minutes but you could tell the burgers were hot off the grill and the fries were right out of the fryer. The fries were crispy and delicious with a light dusting of salt. The burgers were so juicy that the juice pooled at the bottom of the wrapping, though never dripping through. Every ingredient and topping seemed to be freshly picked from a garden; the tomatoes were plump and juicy, crispy lettuce, pickles and onions...just a bite of perfection from start to finish. Now, are the burgers better than any other burger I've ever had? No. However, you're supporting a veteran owned business, the food is outstanding and I felt special being there.

We tried the mushroom Swiss burger and it was amazing. Everything down to the sriracha ketchup was fresh and perfectly crafted. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a meaty burger without the junk or grease of other places. The owner took extra time answering my questions about his trailer and the process of opening a food truck after our meal was finished.

Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.

This is a little local stand in Nampa, that is a little hard to get to, but well worth it. And when I say little, I mean little. It is only a drive-thru with no indoor seating. And when I say hard to get to, it's in the middle of a couple of one-way streets so you might have to go around the block to get there. I had a Cheddar Burger with Bacon and Cheese sticks. The burger was very tasty, and one you would expect from a mom-and-pop burger stand. I will say the Cheddar and bacon were both very flavorful. But the killer was the Cheese Sticks. OUT OF THIS WORLD. By far the greatest cheese sticks I have ever had in my life. I was going to order onion rings, but I changed to cheese sticks and they kind of threw me when they asked if I wanted cheddar, mozzarella or pepper jack (I should have known right there). I ordered the small order of Mozzarella Cheeses sticks. When I got them, you can tell they are obviously home-made. And the small order - HUMUNGOUS, but I ate every single one. I am only visiting the area, and am staying by the Boise airport, and have no reason to go back to Nampa, but right now I am contemplating if I want to drive back over there to get more. Long story made longer, ended up going back a couple days later so I could share some with my wife and she concurred, best ever cheese sticks. Ended up talking to the owner and he verified that it is a house made breading. And the cheese is a specialty Mozzarella which is super creamy and stays melted for an extra long time.

We have frequented this location every time we've visited a Habit location in the past 4 years…read more(close to 20 times) and I honestly can't believe I haven't written a review. I've read a lot of reviews on Yelp and I can't say that I've ever experienced poor or rude service, but there have been several inconsistencies from receiving overcooked burgers, undercooked fries or having to wipe down our table to eat. That said, these issues happen, sometimes more often than others, but not enough times to ward off future visits. There was a small line to order when we arrived, so we ordered through the kiosk without issue. This actually prompted others to order through the kiosk as well. After ordering, we walked up to the register to get our drink cups and were quickly greeted by a smiling, lovely employee who promptly gave me our cups. I ordered the new Parmesan chicken club, which unfortunately does not come in a combo...so I ordered the 50/50 (fries and onion rings) and my husband had the charburger with cheese combo. Our food came out quickly and looked stunning! The cheese was melted around the grilled chicken, the bacon was crispy, ingredients were fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection. My only disappointment is that the 50/50 is almost $5 as a side....and I felt like there wasn't enough fries and only 4 small onion rings. Fries were mostly undercooked as well. However, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. My husband's charburger tasted great, but was a tad disappointed as the burger patty was much thinner than other visits. It was almost $34 for lunch and we almost feel like we didn't get our money's worth. Overall, our visit was nice (loved the "habit" radio station...great music!), most of the food was great and the service was super friendly.
