Queen's is such a vibe! I love coming to Payette and this food is just right for it. I'm vegetarian so the veggie burger option is amazing and I think the tater tots are also perfect! They serve the food really quick and it fits right into the environment around the brewery! Stop by and try their food I'm sure you won't be disappointed :) read more

We munched out with their Big Queen burger, Veggie slider and custom tater tots from Queens Trailer, now featured at Payette Brewery! We loved it all but the tater tots were definitely our favorite! The burger featured home grown pickles and all the toppings made it mouthwatering! And the Veggie slider was smothered in pickled onions and a unique seasoning that had just a hint of spice and was amazing! Mike and Joel will be parked permanently at Payette Brewery from noon to 10pm! We have found our new lunch spot! Thanks, guys!! read more

we used to absolutely love them when they had burgers and their hot chicken sandwich and the tater tots and all that good stuff. We went this week and they had changed it to Teriyaki bowls and I really hate to say it but it was not great. We'll go back again when they bring back the classic menu! read more

It's good, sure, and the people in the truck were very nice. The unanimous five star reviews baffle with me though. I had the queen slider and loaded tater tots. Basic bar food competently made. But five stars? Come on. I am likely one of the few people that's tried the food completely sober. That may explain it. Three-star food four-star people. So four stars overall and that's a good score for bar food. Still recommended. I'm just being realistic. read more

I am so excited that The Queens and Payette Brewing have teamed up to now provide great beer and awesome food 7 days a week. This is going to become my go to lunch spot since the Queens is open if Payette is open. I am currently working my way down their menu but have not been disappointed yet. I would say that besides the smoked wings (which are BOMB) It is a toss up between the Pork Bahn Mi (smoked pork belly) and the Nashville Hot Chicken. I have been there twice in the last couple of weeks. Friendly staff and great location (I am lookin at you, Payette Brewing)! The sliders from "the Queens" are delicious and they make THE BEST tater tots I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Seriously, the best. So pumped to have good eats all the time at our fav brewery. Weren't terribly hungry so we just split the Brussels sprouts. Also forgot to snap pics. The kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the hand made chicken nuggets/fries. Incredible... can't wait to try everything else! read more

Holy cow! This place was worth the wait in the long line out front! The Brussels Sprouts are by far the best in town- and I've had them all. The sliders were all amazing and the kids meal was huge and just as yummy. We'll be back for sure! read more

I loved payette before queens showed up, but ever since this food truck showed up permanently at payette and my life, I simply can not stop thinking about them. I've been getting off work crushing a brew and sucking down a Nashville hot chicken sandwich or some wings. My wife has started wondering if I've been cheating on her, but Little does she know I just been at payette deleting beers and enjoying Queens food. Nonetheless if you don't drink beer please come down and enjoy the best food truck in Boise hands down, just don't tell my wife you saw me. read more

To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.

I was so disappointed at how tiny this bear claw was. Honestly, to have it be called bear claw is criminal work. And to have it be pushing 5 bucks is criminal work too. Don't get me wrong, the bear claw was decent. It was frosted. The pastry portion of it was soft and buttery. There was apple but very subtle. The size of it is comparable to street taco but fluffier. To compare a bear claw to a street taco is just insane to me.

I ate a few items from Queens at a recent happy hour work event I attended at Payette: Brussel Sprouts, JoJo's (or hand cut fries?), Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders, Tots, and pretzels. All were tasty. The pretzels were probably the least impressive, but they were still good and came with a good sauce. Tater Tots are never phenomenal to my tastes, but Queens' tots were nice and crispy and had some extra seasoning that made them as good as tots get. The Brussel Sprouts were fantastic, cooked perfectly and with some great seasoning and sauce drizzled on them. The Hot Chicken slider was also delicious with just the right amount of spiciness.
