Saddest thing ever to stop somewhere that is famous for something and there is none!!! Took mom out on a nice day for a drive to see the mtns since she doesn't get out much. Restaurant closed and the cinnamon roll appears to be a casualty as well.

Grading scale: 1-2: avoid 3-4: poor 5-6: fair 7: good 8-great 9-fantastic 10-unheard of! Great service (8) from Joshua/Javier. Chicken Fried Steak (6-7) $15.89 Sausage gravy was ok. Not too sausagy but much prefer regular cream gravy. Seems to be a regional thing as some places (like this one) don't even have regular cream gravy. Steak was pretty good, but frozen item. Not tough and breading was nicely even and not crunchy. Hot Beef Sandwich (7) $12.49 Decent sized portion with real pot roast. Two slices bread under meat and potatoes. Potatoes were good but probably instant as very smooth. Brown gravy was almost too salty but not still good. Portions were large enough that I (female) couldn't finish. Would suggest they add a small side vegetable for variety. Restroom was clean and in good condition. As a disabled woman, I appreciated the counter that wasn't too deep to reach the soap dispenser and the paper towel dispensers that were not blocked by the trash can. Restaurant entrance on north west side not clearly marked.

Stopped in for breakfast with friends while visiting from out of town. This is a large truck stop diner attached to a gas station with plenty of spacious seating and friendly service. Two of us ordered the Cinnamon French toast and another ordered the poached egg plate. Everything was tasty, the eggs cooked to perfection and the hash browns were delicious. The only thing that would have made it even better is the temperature of the food as it was all lukewarm. But overall the food and service were good and it is reasonably priced, I would recommend.

If you are on a road trip this Summer up north, get to this place! The gas station/restaurant truck stop is actually really delicious. A lot of homestyle meals to make you feel a part of that old American tradition the stories once talked about. But, it does come at a price. The service is sluggish due to the staffing issues on top of the crazy demand to visit during lunch hours. Breakfast, however, is a dream.

I will agree with most of the other Yelper's and rate this location as a 3 star. It's actually a really nice gas station with an attached restaurant. Had the breakfast burrito and a mixed plate with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits tasted like it was the same dough that they use on their cinnamon roles with a vanilla taste which threw the dish off of what you would expect from a savory dish. Just did not look like the kitchen executed any of the dishes well with the warmish food, half melted cheese, and the off flavors.

A memory for my other half and just a fun stop and shop for me. Lots of gifts and collectibles. But what they are known for is their cinnamon buns. Caffeine they do have... decaf coffee they don't. And they have a deli. Mostly country goodies and pastries. And they have an area to sit down and enjoy. Come enjoy.

Huge, messy but so delicious cinnamon roll.

After visiting Fort Collins for dinner we stopped here for a hot drink to wait out a traffic accident up ahead. What a treat! The first thing my eyes spy are HUGE donuts and fritters! Wow The menu has lots of interesting choices and my other half found many selections that he wants to try. Our server was a sweetheart and to filled us in on the steak my guy was dreaming of. But we just decided on hot coffee and tea and a cinnamon roll. Be warned, that cinnamon roll fits a salad plate and the icing is placed on the roll as its served to you. My goodness it was delicious and messy but who cares. LOL. No, we couldn't finish it . Safe to say this place is a definitely a place we'll take a drive to for dinner and most certainly a stop for donuts or cinnamon roll after a Fort Collins trip.

World Famous Cinnamon Rolls I think the title speaks for itself. That's right, this trucks stop claims to have "World Famous Cinnamon Rolls." You know what? They do!!! These suckers are enormous and delicious!! You have to come here, just for the experience. Full diner, so sit down and have a meal. Wait, there's more!! The truck stop itself is really cool, too. It's huge!! I had fun looking around at all of the nick-nacks for sale.

Taco Bell chips! Looks too good to be true.

Driving up to Fort Collins from Longmont you cannot help but catch the signs for Johnson's Corner. The oversized iced cinnamon rolls beckon and are just asking for you to stop in to Johnson's corner. Having purchased their cinnamon rolls before (from a gas station in Longmont) we just had to stop and check out the establishment that makes them. The place was absolutely enormous! The parking lot was so jam packed it was hard to find a spot. Entering the establishment on the restaurant side we added our names to the waitlist (30 minutes long). We took our time to peruse the other half of the building which included a gas station so large it contained a full gift shop worth of goodies. Really, I think you could literally find something for everyone on your holiday list here. There are funny tea towels that say things such as (cat hair is an condiment as well as an accessory), candles, you name it they probably have it. There's also an area with several types of warm taquitos and hot dogs and brats. Not to mention a Jolly Rancher slush machine, cappuccino machine, and soda station. A road trip haven if you ask me. There are rows and rows and rows of snacks. Including some I hadn't even seen before. The standouts were Taco Bell chips, cheese curds from Wisconsin, and Hostess Limited Edition dark chocolate raspberry donettes and cupcakes. And did I mention? There are multiple sets of bathroom as well as a truck driver rest lounge! By the time we circled back in at the hostess stand they were ready to seat us. The menu was large but straightforward. The daily specials looked great. Unfortunately many specials didn't kick in until 4pm. He went with the burger, I went with the fresh baked biscuits and gravy (gravy on the side of course). For starters we enjoyed one of their large cinnamon sugar donuts. They weren't kidding, it was bigger than my hand and pretty darn tasty if you ask me. Our food didn't take long to come out which was impressive as they had a fifty person banquet in another area of the restaurant. My partner enjoyed the burger but wasn't able to finish his mountain of fries. I did a decent job on my meal. The biscuits were on the small side but fluffy and delicious. The sausage gravy was on the side and well seasoned. Made for some fun as I added the egg to the biscuit then the gravy the biscuit and the hash browns that came with. While we didn't indulge in a fresh cinnamon roll we did enjoy our time here. The waitstaff was efficient and helpful (some friendlier than others) and the check out line was oh so long (you've got to pay up at the register). We may just drop in on our next drive by to try out some of their other menu items or pick up a Jolly Rancher slush!

First off, we love how the restaurant is a couple blocks off the main streets of downtown because that quiet, peaceful vibe carries into the restaurant. It has such a laid back atmosphere - perfect for our Saturday night date night. Our server, Sonia, was amazing! So friendly and fun - very attentive without being overwhelming. She was so helpful and answered all our questions about the menu and restaurant. We decided to share the nachos and the prime rib stroganoff and it was the perfect combo! The nachos were cheesy and flavorful and the stroganoff (which was thoughtfully split for us into two separate bowls) was so creamy and yummy with lots of prime rib. Per our server's suggestion, we finished our meal with the Sopapilla Cheesecake... OMG! Not too much cheesecake, a flaky pastry bottom and a crispy, cinnamon-y top layer. SO GOOD. Everything combined (they also had a DJ playing a really cool house mix) made for a fantastic first impression. We look forward to visiting again and again!

Lucky for us, they have a two chairs table available, so we got seated right away. The young lady hostess said "Hi" to us and walked us to our table. Our waitress is Andrea. She was friendly and professional. My wife has gluten allergies so Andrea was telling my wife what options she can have. Glad to see that the wait staff is familiar with their Gluten Free options. My wife and i decided to order their breakfast item called "The Basic". Comes with 2 eggs, 3 thick slices of bacon, hash browns and choice of bread. I ordered their breakfast item grilled biscuits and my wife ordered the GF bread. Even though the restaurant was packed and busy, we got our food in about 22 minutes. Not too shabby. Our foods came out hot and fresh. Our waitress Andrea was attentive. She checked on us a couple of times. As far as the taste of our food goes, both my wife and I enjoy everything except for the breads. My grilled biscuits were hard and dry. My wife's GF toast was overly toasted. Very disappointing. When we got our check, they charged $1.50 extra for one GF bread that tasted awful. That's ridiculous that they charged that much for a single bread. Overall experience, it was good. We would probably come back here again for breakfast or lunch and check out their other foods.

Instead, I accidentally took her to intermittent fasting with table service. We both ordered bowls. She got the Pineapple Bowl ($21), and I got the Lazy Dog Bowl ($20). When they arrived, we honestly thought maybe the rest of the meal was still coming. Nope. That was the whole production. Each bowl featured what appeared to be half of a chicken breast. Not "about" half. I mean it genuinely looked like one chicken made the ultimate sacrifice so two entrées could exist. Somewhere in the kitchen a chef is holding a ruler saying, "Easy... if anyone gets an extra bite, corporate loses twelve cents." I've had Costco samples with more commitment. The best part was watching my wife try to convince herself she was full because she didn't want to ruin date night. That's when you know you're in trouble. When your spouse starts chewing slower because she's hoping time will create calories. You know how sometimes you get annoyed when the waiter or manager keeps coming by asking how your meal is and if everything is alright? The good news was that Lazy Dog definitely doesn't have this issue: Nobody asked how the food was. Not our server. Not a manager. Not a passing employee. Not even the emotional support dog I assume inspired the restaurant's name. It was almost as if everyone already knew the answer. The only thing that arrived promptly and confidently was the bill. For over $40, I wasn't expecting to leave stuffed, but I was hoping to leave without wondering whether we should split a cheeseburger at the drive-thru on the way home. I've seen airport salads with a stronger sense of abundance. The food wasn't bad. That's almost what makes it worse. It tasted good enough that I wished there had been... more than six bites of it. Lazy Dog, I came hoping to impress my wife. Instead, you gave us a memorable evening, a shared chicken breast, and the strongest argument we've ever had for eating before we go out.
