Chris came out within a day of my first call for a detailed walkthrough. I provided a written list of exactly what I wanted done (and what should not be done) and he took my instructions to heart. On the work day we started with another walkthrough with his five-person crew so everyone was clear on the plan. Chris and I both stayed involved overseeing the work throughout the day. I'm very particular about how my trees are pruned--I've spent decades growing them and have seen too many crews turn beautiful trees into hat racks. The results here preserved the trees' natural structure through selective hand pruning, and some previous pruning mistakes were thoughtfully corrected. The crew was upbeat, respectful of the property, and cleanup was thorough. They're licensed, bonded, carry solid liability insurance, and have workers' comp. In short, they are pros. I'll definitely hire them again.

My husband left for doing errands nearby and came back. Our trees got chopped off and also the manager disappeared while his guys working. I cried by seeing what they did to our trees. Manager showed up after my husband called. He made all the excuses without apologies and asked my husband "why you left home and didn't stop them cutting?," "Trees will grow." Clearly, this manager doesn't communicate well with his crew and he's not responsible. The service is not a professional. We're not happy with the money we had to pay for their job. Now we have no shades in the front yard and have to deal with the ugly scene every time we enter home. Never use this company unless you just want to chop off trees.

Today, they came and removed an oak that had been damaged in that same storm and was hanging dangerously over the street. They were very efficient in their work and left the area neat and tidy.
